I n t r o d u c t i o n Low back pain is a prevailing health problem worldwide that not only affects the individual’s personal life but also impairs community roles immensely. It has been seen that females have the highest prevalence and also those individuals which are aged between 40 and 80 years.1 Low back pain is a common complain while dealing with the musculoskeletal issues, almost 4-33% of population is effected at some given point2. In case of chronic cases disability and activity limitation, Low back pain is more common cause second to arthritis3. Low back pain is related with disability and decreased functional mobility and it has been seen that its association with variation in balance is not generally emphasized. Balance is mainly a biomechanical term which can be described as inability to uphold the line of gravity, that is a vertical line from body mass centre with minimum posture sway.4 Sway is unavoidable and necessary in some cases like body shifting from one foot to other foot, or while breathing and other minimal activities. Sway is also inevitable from external triggers like visual distortions or sudden floor transition. It is uncertain that increase in sway is a red light to the balance dysfunction.5 To maintain adequate balance a number of ORIGINAL ARTICLE

Objective: To find out ankle instability among midfoot deformity patients Methodology: A six-month descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted at Ghurki Trust and Teaching Hospital, Children's Hospital, and the Institute of Child Health in Lahore, with 96 individuals (64 men and 32 females) from August 2018 to January 2019. The inclusion criteria were children aged 1-6 years after Ponesti method and children with resistant or recurrent CTEV. The sample was collected by convenient sampling technique. The Ethical Committee of the Lahore College of Physical Therapy granted permission. Ankle instability of each patient was assessed with Cumberland Ankle Instability Tool questionnaire. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 23 was used to enter and analyze data. Results: The Cumberland Ankle Instability Tool questionnaire has 9items 30-point scale where less than 27 score shows ankle instability. The study found that 88 individuals had ankle instability and 8 had ankle stability out of a total of 96 patients. Conclusion: Maximum patients of mid-foot deformity were presented with ankle instability. of lack of knowledge of when to use hearing protection.

Objective: To determine the GAPS model of service quality is a framework which helps in understanding the customer’s satisfaction. Methodology: This observational cross sectional study comprised of 400 patients. The study was accomplished in four hospitals in Lahore, Ghurki Trust and Teaching Hospital Lahore, Sheikh Zayed hospital Lahore, mayo hospital Lahore, Ittefaq hospital Lahore. The study was completed in six months after approval of synopsis. Modified SERVQUAL questionnaire based on service quality gap model was used in this study. Results: The results of the study shows that 41.24% of the people are not satisfied 40% of the patients are satisfied and remaining 18.75%people are disinterested with the quality of physiotherapy services in orthopedic wards of private and public sector hospitals in Lahore, Pakistan. Conclusions: The findings of the study indicate that there is a GAP in patient’s expectations and perception in quality of physiotherapy services in private and public sector hospitals in Lahore, Pakistan .and quality of physiotherapy services in orthopedic wards of private hospitals is better than physiotherapy services provided in orthopedic wards of and public sector hospitals.
