was used to assess the static and dynamic balance of the patients. Results: Mean age of the patients was 57.43±7.28 years. 19 (32.2%) of the patients were male and 40 (67.8%) patients were female. In a sample size of 59, 17(28.8%) patients were at high risk of falling, whereas 33 (55.9%) patients were at medium and 9 (15.3%) patients were at low risk of fall respectively. Conclusions: Greater numbers of patients with diabetic neuropathy have moderate risk of fall.

assessed by using the Medrisk Instrument for Patient Satisfaction. Results: Amongst 405 questionnaires that were given out as handouts, 377 fulfilled the criteria and thus were analyzed. Out of 377 patients who consented for the study 248 had low levels, 103 had moderate and only 26 patients had higher levels of satisfaction according to Medrisk Instrument for patient satisfaction. Chi-square test indicated a significance of 0.00 i.e. highly significant. Conclusion: Patients were least satisfied with the quality of care and services provided by the therapist at Public Hospitals in Lahore. Patients who had lower levels indicated lesser time spent with their therapist and lack of enough information from the therapist to be the causative factors for their satisfaction levels.

I n t r o d u c t i o n Osteoarthritis (OA) the most prevalent of the chronic rheumatic disease. Most commonly, effecting women more than males, leading to disability. Overall it exists in 28.7% and female prevalence was 31.6%.1 There are near to 13% of the females and males aged 60 years have 10% and older have symptomatic knee OA. The ratio of the population affected by OA with symptoms, the knee is most likely to be increased due to the age related of that population and their ratio of obesity or overweight in comparison to the general population 2 especially those of above 55 years, have more severe OA in the knee as compared to the other joints in their body. The prevalence of OA in the knee joint is affected by postmenopausal factors and gender differences.3 The prevalence was found to be high based on the findings from radiographic results of Knee arthritic changes. The incidence was more in females than that of the men4 knee arthritic symptoms were mostly in the general young was less but mostly found in women of older age. In a study Greece community, knee OA symptoms were observed.5,1 The incidence rate was much higher in the females than in males and ratio was increased significantly with respect to age. Symptoms of OA in knee were not common in urban compared to rural and suburban study population.Obesity and a lower level of education were linked ORIGINAL ARTICLE

I n t r o d u c t i o n Cerebral Palsy refers to a group of non-progressive disorders characterized by neuromata impairment of varying severity. The prevalence of CP as evaluated by most recent surveys has been reported to be 2.11 per 1,000 live births. The prevalence has stayed steady over the ongoing decade, notwithstanding the expanded endurance of in danger preterm infants.1 The etiology of CP includes various prenatal, perinatal and post natal factors such as birth asphyxia, prolonged labor, and premature birth, infections like rubella, toxoplasmosis, cytomegalovirus, and meningitis. On the basis of main movements impaired, there are four major types of cerebral palsy: spastic, dyskinetic, ataxic, and mixed.2 Contingent upon ORIGINAL ARTICLE

Objective: To determine the Effects of physical activity on bone mineral density in young adults. Methodology: Descriptive Cross-sectional Study was used in the study and data was collected through leading government, private, semi private Hospitals of Rawalpindi and Islamabad from September 2018 to February 2019. A cross sectional study was conducted on 387 young adults of age ranging 18-35 years from different private and public sector hospitals of twin cities of Pakistan. Consent taken from every subject and self-structured questionnaire was filled by all the participants that include demographics information and physical activity questions. Results: The total n= 229 subjects had normal body mass index; (18.5-24.9Kg/m2), 65 subjects are over-weighted (25-29.9Kg/m2). The major frequency of young adults has similar BMD level compared to WHO classification for BMD. Lower physical activity levels attribute an adverse influence on bone health. There is positive correlation between physical activity and bone mineral density (r=0.015) Conclusion: The findings indicate that physical activity during growth plays positive role in increasing BMD. In young athletes the physical activity and nutritional factors influence the BMD.

Background: Headache being one of the most common disorder worldwide is considered among the 10 most disabling conditions for men and women according to World Health Organization(WHO).When it comes to the causative factors that can cause headaches and why some group of patients are more prone towards developing these headaches ,we have identified several risk factors. Also there are several self-adopted remedial treatments used by the people for headaches as it is considered a secondary condition. Aim of this study was to find out the prevalence of predisposing factors and First choice of treatment for headache. Methodology: Descriptive cross sectional study was conducted from June-November 2014. A sample of 500 participants was conscripted through purposive non-probability sampling technique. The particulars of predisposing factors and first choice of treatment were documented through a self-structured questionnaire and data was analyzed through SPSS 21. Results: Study illustrates that most of the participants belonged to age group 21 to 40 years that is 62.6%. The pain severity was recorded (46%), (43%) and (10%) for mild, moderate and severe pain correspondingly. Most participants in this study have headache which is intensified by anxiety (42.4%), inadequate sleep (25%) and tiredness (17%) and most prevalent first choice of treatment used by the participants were NSAIDs (46%) and proper sleep (31%) while rare were herbal remedies and wrap of cloth around head (2.6%) and (2.4 %) correspondingly. Conclusion: In this cross sectional survey based study we conclude that people with stress and inadequate sleep are most likely to experience headache in our population, and are using NSAIDS commonly to relief the pain followed by catching up on sleep. Key words: Headache Disorders, Tension Type Headache, Cluster Headache, Risk factors, First line-intervention
