This paper deals with words that accepts two types of parsing onlyin Wazir Abi 'Asim bin Ayoub Al-Batlimousi's commentary on Imru'Al-Qais's poetry because there are many words in this commentary thataccept more than two types of parsing but they are not the concern ofthis paper. The paper is divided into three sections: The first deals with wordsthat can be indicative or accusative; the second with words that can beindicative or genitive and the third with words that can be accusativein two ways.

Modern educational methods, in general, and literary texts, in particular, have played immensely important roles in bringing awareness to young students concerning the notion of the female-male binary relationship in society. This objective has been fulfilled through women’s literary works, which are considered powerful materials contributing toward female empowerment in the culture of masculinity. Post-1980s, feminist works are used in education as a part of the teaching curriculum to address gender equality imbalance in society. The analysis of feminist writers’ texts and their discourses is at the core of ongoing debates and the evolving pedagogical methods of the contemporary educational sphere. Accordingly, Carol Ann Duffy, a most notable feminist poet, known for her poetics dexterity, has worked on addressing gender and female identity. Her poems have been published and referred to in academic works, magazines, and internet forums. At the same time, her poetry has been instrumental in improving the themes and goals of educational syllabuses at the primary and secondary school levels as well as those of higher education institutions at the national level.

Language management is a discipline that consists of satisfying the needs of people who speak multiple different languages. These may be in the same country, in companies, and in cultural or international institutions where one must use multiple languages. In the Iraqi Kurdistan context, we are presented with a linguistic situation where two languages are constitutionally official, i.e., Arabic and Kurdish while English is adopted as the solitary means of instruction in some schools/colleges/universities besides the fact Turkmani and Assyrian are spoken and adopted as means of instruction in schools of areas where the Turkmen and Assyrians are a majority. This linguistic reality calls for a sound and rational resolution or management at all levels, particularly at the academic levels which we are interested in here. Thus, the main aim of the present study is to suggest ways on how to take the multilingual situation in Iraqi Kurdistan to an English plus situation in a similar manner we have witnessed in Singapore.

The learners of English mostly face difficulties in selecting the right preposition for a sentence in speech and in writing. The wrong choice of preposition could occasionally be ascribed to interference and overlap caused between the mother tongue and the target language. One more difficulty may emerge when a single preposition may possibly have more than one semantic use. It is hypothesized that the linguistic differences between English and Arabic could be the reason behind impeding the learners of doing well in the target language. The learners, therefore, may unconsciously covey the Arabic linguistic habits to English although the syntactic and semantic characteristics between the two languages are totally different. This research is an inquiry into the concepts of reference and sense in selected English short stories. It is an attempt to determine which concept of these two is used more in the selected short stories because in every language different expressions of these two are used and that’s why they have been chosen in this study. The reference of a word is the relation between the linguistic expression and the entity in the real world to which it refers. In contrast to reference, sense is defined as the relations to other expressions in the language system. Thus there are words that have senses but no referents in the real world. Depending on this contradiction this study is going to be conducted.

Despite the controversy between supporters of the opinion that inversion in the Holy Quran did happen and the opponents of this opinion, one can say that inversion is a reality in this book of truth. This is because the styles used in the Quran are the same ones that have been used by Arabs. It is interesting that Allah challenged the Arabs to use these styles and made them unable to put out something similar in terms of system, method and composition. The Arabs also tended to adopt these styles in their poetry and prose. Their goal of using them were different literary purposes like exaggeration, intimidation and interest etc. the inversion also has been used in the Quran for many various purposes that can be understood from the speech context. The inversion also shows the miraculous nature of the Quran.

A diacritical mark is a mark which is put above or below the letter. That is to say, diacritical marks are seeming letters that play a vital role in attributing words to different classes. According, they can change the syntactic function as well as the part of speech of the words they are used with. Thus, they are dealt with by different fields of linguistics, such as phonetics, syntax, and so forth. However, the current study aims at investigating the importance of these marks in English and Arabic to show how important these marks are and how similar universally each language with the other(s). In addition, the study comes against the long-adopted view of the importance of these marks in language.
