Clock synchronization compensation of Time-Triggered Ethernet based on least squares algorithm 基于最小二乘算法的时间触发以太网时钟同步补偿

Time-Triggered (TT) communication, which enhances real-time requirement and packets transmission certainty, can satisfy the requirements of Distributed Integrated Modular Avionic (DIMA). Due to clock skew between source end and destination systems, the end to end performance is inaccurate. Therefore, clock synchronization service is crucial for TT messages transmission in Time-Triggered Ethernet (TTEthernet). There are two kinds of clock synchronization services: external synchronization service and internal synchronization service. The main difference between two services is the presence of a standard time basis. As an internal synchronization service standard of TTEthernet, AS6802 is used to calculate the average difference between timestamp values of end systems in TTEthernet. However, the clock compensation policy after calculation has not been discussed. In this paper, the compensated algorithm based on modified least squares (LS) is proposed. The clock skew can be eliminated online by LS method to get clocks perfectly synchronized. First, the basic theories about reasons of clock offset are analyzed and the process of clock synchronization in TTEthernet is researched; second, the drifted rates of clocks are changed incessantly due to temperature variation or aging. On that account, clocks are modeled as accurately as possible; besides, the simulation platform is built, including end systems, switch models, network topology to verify the effectiveness of the compensated algorithm; finally, the method of this paper compares with the traditional compensation policies. Simulation shows algorithm in the paper can obtain better clock synchronization precision than other algorithms.

Full duplex state transition analysis for MAC sublayer state machine of CCSDS Proximity-1 基于CCSDS的MAC子层状态机的全双工状态转换分析

In this paper, we first introduce the CCSDS Proximity-1 protocol and its MAC sublayer state machine. Then we analyze the state transition of state machine under full duplex mode by decomposing the complex state transition diagram into different simple procedures, which make the complex state transition diagram simple and easy to understand. Considering there are some careless omissions in the Proximity-1 protocol document, to understand every step is essential for protocol implementation. Though we only give the analysis of the full duplex mode, the proposed method can also be applied to half duplex mode.

A dynamic pilot interval adjustment scheme for HBC channel estimation 一种HBC信道估计的动态导频间隔调整方案

As one important part of Internet of Things (IoT), wireless body area networks (WBANs) get rapid development in recent years. The majority of current WBAN researchers focus on the radio frequency (RF) solutions. However, there are still some intrinsic defects in the RF-based WBANs. Recently, human body communication (HBC) has been proposed in which the body itself is used as the propagation medium. To achieve high spectrum efficiency and power efficiency by HBC, one critical work is to acquire the channel information. In this paper, the HBC channel fading characteristics are measured and summarized. It is shown that the HBC channel is influenced by the body shape instead of the outside environment. When human body is in movement, normal random process can be used to describe the variations of HBC channel fading. Then, we propose a dynamic pilot interval adjustment scheme for HBC channel estimation. By applying this scheme, the pilot intervals in time domain can be adjusted along with the time-varying channel fading. The performance of the proposed scheme is evaluated by using measurement-based HBC channel fading model. It is proved that this scheme can substantially reduce the number of pilots without losing much accuracy and it can be beneficial for saving energy in the HBC networks.

Toward secure internet of things via hybrid forwarding and opportunistic relaying 通过混合转发和机会中继实现安全的物联网

The vast inter-connectivity of devices in the Internet of Things (IoT) under wireless environments facilitates information exchange, but challenges network security. In this paper, we propose a novel scheme for secure cooperative communication by hybrid forwarding and opportunistic selection in IOT. A closed form expression for the tight approximation of the secrecy outage probability (SOP) is derived. An asymptotic intercept probability analysis is also conducted to evaluate the diversity order performance of proposed relay selection scheme. The derivations are confirmed through Monte Carlo simulations. Simulation results also demonstrate that proposed hybrid forwarding scheme outperforms the AF and DF forwarding scheme in terms of secrecy outage performance.

Impact of high mobility on constant envelope precoded multi-user massive MIMO systems 高移动性对恒包络预编码多用户大规模MIMO系统的影响

In this paper, the impact of high mobility on the constant envelope (CE) precoded multi-user massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems is analyzed. We derive a closed-form expression for the achievable ergodic information rate taking into account the impact of channel estimation error due to high mobility. The system performance is evaluated in terms of both achievable ergodic per-user information rate and bit-error-rate (BER) by numerical simulations. The performance of systems with various configurations is presented, which shows that channel estimation error caused by high mobility degrades the performance and increasing ratio of base station (BS) antennas to users reduces the degradation of performance.

Reviews of recent progress on low-complexity linear detection via iterative algorithms for massive MIMO systems 基于迭代算法的大规模MIMO系统低复杂度线性检测研究进展综述

Massive multiple-input multiple-output (M-MIMO) can significantly enhance the spectrum efficiency of cellular networks by deploying hundreds of active elements at the base stations and is envisaged to become the key technology in 5th generation (5G) cellular networks. However, the large number of antennas required brings about tremendous challenges for practical implementation, especially for separation of the multiplexed data. Iterative approaches, such as Jacobi, Richardson, Gauss-Seidel (GS), successive overrelaxation (SOR), and symmetric successive overrelaxation (SSOR) have received great attention recently due to their low-complexity and high performance for signal detection. In this work, we provide a comprehensive review of recent progress in iterative based signal detection for massive MIMO systems. The system model of an iterative method based minimum mean square error (MMSE) signal detection is provided. The convergence behavior and complexity of the iterative approach based detectors are analyzed. Numerical results show that the iterative algorithm-based detectors can achieve a performance close to the classical MMSE detector with significantly less computational complexity.

An algebraic approach for verifying compositions of SDN components 验证SDN组件组成的代数方法

Due to heterogeneity of protocols and time-variation of topology in space information network, Software-Defined Networking (SDN) begins to be used as a novel network architecture. SDN facilitates flexible, scalable and efficient network management, through separating control plane from data plane, thus enabling huge innovation. Network can be easily built, maintained and extended by developing upper SDN applications using API supplied by SDN controller. Similar to general software, modular and componentized development method can increase the reusability of SDN application modules and therefore shorten development period. By composing components already tested or verified, complicated network control functions can be easily constructed. However, it is a problem to ensure the correctness of the network application composed. Verification is a useful means besides testing, but there is a `composition explosion' problem because of plenty of components to compose. This paper proposes an algebraic system, Verification Algebra(VA), for reducing verification transactions when verifying compositions of SDN components. Rules are defined in VA to eliminate configurations or interactions for future verification, based on the existing results of compositions. Multi-tenant network configuration verification is also supported by the algebraic approach proposed in this paper.

SDN facilitates flexible, scalable and efficient network management, through separating control plane from data plane, thus enabling huge innovation. Network can be easily built, maintained and extended by developing upper SDN applications using API supplied by SDN controller. Similar to general software, modular and componentized development method can increase the reusability of SDN application modules and therefore shorten development period. By composing components already tested or verified, complicated network control functions can be easily constructed. However, it is a problem to ensure the correctness of the network application composed. Verification is a useful means besides testing, but there is a `composition explosion' problem because of plenty of components to compose. This paper proposes an algebraic system, Verification Algebra(VA), for reducing verification transactions when verifying compositions of SDN components. Rules are defined in VA to eliminate configurations or interactions for future verification, based on the existing results of compositions. Efficient seamless rate compatible modulation 高效无缝速率兼容调制

In order to avoid channel information feedback and improve the performance of the adaptive coded modulation (ACM) system in space communication, this paper proposes an improved rate compatible modulation (RCM) scheme to approach the channel capacity for the time-varying channel. RCM is a seamless rate adaptive technology, in which modulation signals are incrementally generated from information bits through weighted mapping. Rate adaptation is achieved through varying the number of modulated signals. The paper suggests an adaptive RCM based on construction of sub-block generation matrix of RCM in order to improve the performance of traditional RCM at different Signal-Noise Ratio (SNR), and simulations show that the improved scheme can provide a higher throughput than existing ones. Finally, a low complexity decoding algorithm is proposed.

A framework for energy efficient control in heterogeneous cloud radio access networks 异构云无线接入网络中节能控制的框架

The exponential growth in the mobile data traffic promotes the evolution of the infrastructure, while takes grate challenges for designing 5G network, such as significant amount of energy consumption and expenses, huge complexity on operation and lack of flexibility on management. Software defined network (SDN) and cloud computing are the two promising technologies for the future network due to their advantages in simplicity and efficiency in operation. Heterogeneous cloud radio access network (H-CRAN) architecture is characterized by the attributes of both SDN and cloud computing, which brings significant improvements on system performance. while the intra-tier interference among remote radio units (RRHs) especially the inter-tier interference between RRHs and high power node (HPN) affect the spectral efficiency (SE) and energy efficiency (EE) performance. To mitigate the inter-tier interference and improve system performance of H-CRANs, the interference coordination technology is considered. In this paper, the transmit power for RRHs and HPNs are optimized to maximize system EE. The optimization problem with total allowed power constrains is developed. To deal with the non-convexity, based on the Dinkelbach method and the duality gap theorem, an equivalent convex problem is transformed. Through the dual decomposition method, the optimal power allocation for RRH and HPN are derived. Numerical results show that the proposed scheme can improve the EE of H-CRANs compared with the comparison scheme.

On compressive CSI feedback beamforming scheme for FDD massive MIMO FDD大规模MIMO压缩CSI反馈波束形成方案研究

Massive MIMO is a promising technology in future wireless communication networks. To fully utilize the spatial multiplexing gains of massive MIMO, the channel state information (CSI) must be obtained as accurately as possible at the transmitter side. However the conventional CSI feedback schemes are not suitable for FDD massive MIMO because of reference signal and feedback overhead. In 3GPP Rel.13, the channel quantized codebook feedback scheme is employed in order to reduce the CSI feedback overhead. However the cost of this scheme is that the performance gain decreases dramatically due to the channel quantized error caused by the codebook feedback. In this paper, the channel sparsity of massive MIMO is analyzed and the compressive feedback beamforming scheme for FDD massive MIMO is proposed. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed scheme can achieve the considerable performance gain.
