Neural Networks based solution for Door Automation 基于神经网络的门自动化解决方案

Face Recognition is one of the most common biometric strategies which has gained popularity because of the accuracy and security. This paper presents the implementation of a Convolution Neural Network architecture for door automation. This model is devised to overcome the disadvantages of a traditional door system and other methods such as door automation using Bluetooth, figure prints, passwords, or retinal scans. It allows the authorized people to gain access to the house by face recognition. The proposed system makes use of convolution neural network architectures and RaspberryPi. The ResNet architecture [6] is used to implement face recognition and runs on RaspberryPi. The images of the residents of the house will be used to train the model. If the person is a resident of the house, the face will be recognized and the lock will open, else it will be recognized as a human and an alarm will ring and an email alert consisting of the image of the person in front of the door will be sent to the owner. It has numerous advantages as it is user-friendly especially for senior citizens, lesser maintenance, does not require the residents to carry the keys and reduces the threat of robbery.

It is now impossible to assess the effect of deferent teaching methods and performance in a dynamic technical environment. With the pace of technical dominance in the education market, the old teaching pattern is obsolescent every day. It is necessary to research how emerging technology support teaching and the education of students. The younger generation is always technical than, the older generation. Therefore, new instructional approaches must be sought, in particular on technology to attract this generation. Integrating technology into a traditional educational institution is not an easy task, as students and academics rely on traditional methods of learning and are unwilling to change with the new technology. They are also more convenient with the current methods. The influence of technology in the education sector is, nevertheless, inevitable. This paper discusses how technology affects online education and its future.

Application of the Enhanced Single Face Photo as a Novel Screening Tool for Diagnosis of Dengue Infection and Influenza 增强单面照片在登革热感染和流感诊断中的应用

The invisible facial flushing in dengue infection and influenza can be detected and visible by the Manote and Matinun (M&M) technique using PC program and smartphone app. The unique patterns of facial flushing provide a clue to the diagnosis of dengue infection and influenza. To analyze the facial flushing areas in dengue infection and influenza compared with other causes from the single face photo by smartphone camera app and apply the enhanced single face photo as a novel screening tool for diagnosis of dengue infection and influenza. The patients with acute febrile illness were classified into 4 groups of different underlying causes as other causes, dengue, influenza A and influenza B respectively. The single face photo was enhanced with the Rock Art Enhancer app using for Android smartphone in 3 steps modified from the Manote and Matinun technique and further analyzed with the ImageJ program with Color Inspector 3D plugin. The patterns of the facial flushing areas were differentiated into 3 categories, as no facial flushing, localized facial flushing and generalized facial flushing. The analysis of the facial flushing areas was calculated in percents of primary and secondary facial flushing areas (1 FFA and 2 FFA). The sensitivity or "true positive rate" of 3 steps modified Manote and Matinun technique for all tests in dengue, influenza A and influenza B group is 96.8% (94.2% for all patients). The 97.8% of dengue group tests (94.7% for of dengue patients) could be detected the facial flushing either localized or generalized pattern. The upper cut-off points that helps distinguish from neither dengue nor influenza to either dengue or influenza is approximately 20% and 9% in the primary facial flushing areas (1 FFA) and the secondary facial flushing areas (2 FFA) respectively. Although the generalized facial flushing patterns were found in dengue (66.7%) more than in influenza (50%), but we could not distinguish between dengue and influenza, depending on two different patterns of facial flushing (no statistically significant differences, P = 0.09). The enhanced single face photo with 3 steps modified Manote & Matinun technique is useful as a novel screening tool to distinguish other causes of acute febrile illness from both dengue infection and influenza. The upper cut-off points in both primary facial flushing areas (1 FFA) and the secondary facial flushing areas (2 FFA) help for the recognition and diagnosis either dengue infection or influenza. Because it is useful and effective as well as economical and available so it should be suitable for a novel screening tool in the diagnosis of dengue infection and influenza, including for the application of telemedicine in the future. Strategies for integrating Open Access Resources (OAR) into libraries collections: A study 图书馆馆藏开放存取资源整合策略研究

The study’s general purpose is to assist both management and collection development practitioners in adopting appropriate strategies for integrating OA materials into libraries collections. The study was designed to specifically examine the challenges to the integration of OAR into libraries collections and to explore relevant strategies for the integration. The study utilized an online survey questionnaire sent to Seventy Eight collections development staff drawn from academic libraries, Library Boards, and special libraries for completion. Sixty Two (62) however, were completed and returned. This implies 79.4% return rate. All the respondents surveyed are members of the Nigerian Library Association (NLA), and are certified by the Librarians Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN). The respondents were drawn from Federal university Libraries (7), State university libraries (6), private university libraries (22), federal polytechnic libraries (5), state polytechnic libraries (12), college libraries (5), special libraries (2), library boards (3). The survey instrument included Eleven (11) items. Data were analysed using graphical charts. The findings indicate that majority of the library do not acquire OAR, but have plans to make them part of their regular library acquisition workflows; majority of them strongly agree that collection development policy is key to OAR integration, but they don’t have the document for now, neither are their staff trained to manage OA effectively. Their major challenge to OAR integration include poor electricity supply, lack of knowledge and skills required for OA integration, and lack of support from the head librarian, lack of collection development policy document. The recommendations include that collection development policy should be put in place; library staff should be equipped with relevant skills through training and retraining; libraries should rather than purchasing expensive books and journals download OAR relevant to them, process them and make them available to their users as part of their collections; Libraries should be provided with uninterrupted fast speed internet access and power supply from solar power.

In this paper, we analyze the advancement of the telecommunications industry and its link to Operations research. This paper is divided into three sections. The first section talks about the objectives and the methodology of the research. In the next section we talk about the observations, the OR techniques used in the Telecommunication industry and the findings of the paper. Lastly, we talk about the limitations OR faces in the telecommunication sector.

Comprehensive study of software testing: Categories, levels, techniques, and types 对软件测试的全面研究:类别、层次、技术和类型

Software Testing is the process of evaluating a software program to ensure that it performs its intended purpose. Software testing verifies the safety, reliability, and correct working of software. The growing need for quality software makes software testing a crucial stage in Software Development Lifecycle. There are many methods of testing software, however, the choice of method to test a given software remains a major problem in software testing. Although, it is often impossible to find all errors in software, employing the right combination of methods will make software testing efficient and successful. Knowing these software testing methods is the key to making the right selection. This paper presents a comprehensive study of software testing methods. An explanation of Testing Categories was presented first, followed by Testing Levels (and their comparison), then Testing Techniques (and their comparison). For each Testing Levels and Testing Techniques, examples of some testing types and their pros and cons were given with a brief explanation of some of the important testing types. Furthermore, a clear and distinguishable explanation of two confused and contradictory terms (Verification and Validation) and how they relate to Software Quality was provided.

For each Testing Levels and Testing Techniques, examples of some testing types and their pros and cons were given with a brief explanation of some of the important testing types. Eco-friendly drilling fluid water loss controlling agents 环保型钻井液防失水剂

Abstract The water loss from the drilling fluid with the addition natural additives like bagasse, natural sugar, and natural rubber was studied. The entire study is focused on improving the quality of controlling fluid loss with effect of natural additives. The concentrations of the additives were changed to achieve the desired reasonable value of fluid loss with the help of high pressure and high temperature (HPHT) filter press which worked at the condition of 500 psi and at 300 o F temperature. Rheology and various tests of these different samples were studied, and the result is tabulated in this article. IoT Based Garbage Monitoring Sytem 基于物联网的垃圾监控系统

A big challenge in the majority of cities all over India is that of waste management. The key issue in waste management is that the garbage bins at public places get overflowed well in advance before initiating the next cleaning process. Improper management of waste can be a major factor for environmental pollution resulting in several health issues. The traditional way of manually monitoring garbage bins is a cumbersome process and utilizes more human effort, time and cost which can easily be avoided with present technologies. In order to handle such issues, we propose an IOT based smart waste management system which checks the waste level over the dustbins by using sensors. The ultrasonic sensors are interfaced with Arduino Uno 3 Microcontroller to obtain and send the level of garbage to the server of concerned authority after waste is filled up to a particular level. Then authority can take required action by employing a worker to empty out the bins. So through this system, the real-time status of waste is monitored. Therefore one can ensure proper management of waste and this can be a step towards a quality environment which ultimately bodes well for human beings and other life-forms.

Numerous starting points for Blockchain technology in the healthcare industry are the focus of this paper.
