The study comparatively evaluates the relationship between Corporate Social Responsibility and Profitability in the fuel and gas sectors in Ghana. The descriptive survey design and quantitative methods was adopted to find a relationship between innovations in strategic stakeholder engagement with corporate profitability or bottom-line, with the mediating role of strategic stakeholder engagement leading to a firm’s bottom-line. An analysis of strategic stakeholder engagement and bottom-line of selected fuel and gas companies in the Kumasi Metropolitan, Asokore Mampong, Oforikrom and Ejisu Municipalities was provided.A five point closed ended Likert Scale self-administrable structured questionnaire and researcher guide to aid participants answer relevant questions was used to confirm that innovations in strategic stakeholder engagement fueled increases in corporate bottom-line of selected companies. The four major steps of analysing data collected from Atkinson’s (2002) categories of quantitative data analysis was used, following which the primary data/information gathered and coded was analysed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences to guarantee validity and reliability of the various investigations conducted. The hierarchical multiple regression of the Baron and Kenny’s (1986) procedure was also adopted to analyse for study the mediating effect of innovation on the relationship between strategic stakeholder engagement and corporate bottom-line.The study opines the involvement of key stakeholder participation in the siting and general operations of fuel and gas companies given the divergent viewpoints of operators and stakeholders (O’Riordan, 2017). A discovery of a statistically significant positive influence of perceptions of CSR towards customers on an organization’s image in general intensifies the suggestion that mangers of fuel and gas sectors take special interest in innovative ways of engaging strategic stakeholders due to its influence and ripple mediating effect on corporate bottom-line to improve the performance of the business or induces increases in profit.

Studying a facet of a society implies being attentive to your daily life, especially at work. Today, work has established itself as a central value in our contemporary societies and has become an important source of identity building. It is undergoing profound changes, particularly in the customer relations sector. Our longitudinal study is based on qualitative data collection methods in two Dakar call centers and on the content analysis method. It shows that the work of call center agents is being distorted and transformed because of the conditions in which it is carried out against a background of rationalization and intensification. The work of call center agents is no longer the dream of the early days 20 years ago; the euphoria has given way to disillusionment. Behind technological developments and relocations, there are hidden labor clashes and misfortunes affecting the worker and his society: acculturation, poor management of human resources and working conditions.

Public procurement issues have drawn many concerns and became a public debate because the rules and regulations are constantly reformed and restructured. Public procurement contributions in the world economy are very significant. In Indonesia, according to the Ministry of Finance, public procurement spending for 2009 was 33.4 percent of total government spending. This study aims to determine implementation practices of Public Procurement Plans or Rencana Umum Pengadaan (RUP) in Bitung City of the North Sulawesi Province. The multiple statistical regression equation is used to process data from 47 respondents from regional apparatus task forces (SKPD) and the results show that the influence of independent variables (X) on dependent variable (Y) is 87.3 percent (R2), while 12.7 percent is influenced by other factors. The result of F-test shows that F-result = 36.231> F- table = 3.21. The calculated probability value is 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05. The partial test (t-test) from 9 independent variables (X) identifies 7 variables that have significant effects on the scores of RUP implementation (Y), while the other two variables have no significant effect. The overall results of t-test show that the implementation practices of public procurement plans have significant effects on the output of goods and services in the administrative district of Bitung City, which is a direct effect of the higher compliance rates of the bureaucratic apparatus performances in implementing public policies.

Each region has potentials and economic advantages that can be used as the source of its regional growth. The capability of each region to promote its own growth depends on its economic competitive advantages. This study is aimed to determine the centers of economic growth and regional development in West Halmahera Regency in the North Moluccas Province. The data used for analysis is secondary data which were collected using documentation method and internet browsing. The method of analysis used is scalogram analysis. The results show that among 9 subdistricts observed in this study, only 4 have the highest scores for socioeconomic infrastructures completeness. The subdistrict located in the central administrative area is the center of growth or growth pole, and the other 3 subdistricts act as the buffer areas. Based on scalogram analysis results, it is found that the growth of each subdistrict is relatively similar, with only 1 subdistrict that shows a relatively more advance growth in Hierarchy II with the highest Index of Subdistrict Growth (ISG) at 21.3433. The other 8 subdistricts are under-developedregions within Hierarchy III with variable Index of Subdistrict Growth (ISG).

The strength of the copper wire and reliability of electrical contacts are the essential reason for their widespread use throughout the industry of electrical engineering in the distribution of electrical energy, and in the manufacture of electrical equipment and electrical components. Unfortunately, this property is altered by the presence of certain mechanical stress, which influences thereafter the mechanical characteristics of son and disrupts the functioning of electrical cable and electrical installation specially in general. This issue therefore requires first an understanding of the mechanical characteristics as well as an expanded study of the mechanical behavior of the material. The study is based on the mastery of mechanical behavior of copper wire to improve and optimize the mechanical and electrical characteristics of the cables, another summer in characterizing component considered during this study, it is a statistical study Student of which allowed us to select the most reliable results with a risk threshold of 10% on the other hand, we perform a statistical study Weibull which enabled us to extract the Weibull elements and thereafter define the law of reliability and Weibull damage.

A new Mefenamic acid derivative [(4-amino-5-(2-(2,3- dimethylphenyl)aminophnyl)-1,2,4-triazole-3-thion](L) , was synthesized and characterized by (FT-IR) , UV-Vis and 1H ,13C-NMR Spectroscopy as well as elemental analysis (C.H.N).[L] has been used as a chelating ligand to prepare some complexes of (Co(ІІ), Ni(П), Cu(П), Zn(II)and Cd(II) ions .The prepared complexes were identified and their geometrical were suggested in solid state by using (FT-IR) and (UV-Vis) spectroscopy ,elemental analysis(C.H.N), Flame atomic absorption technique, in addition to magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurements . The work also include a theoretical treatment of the formed complexes in the gas phase, this was done using the (hyperchem-8) program for the molecular mechanics and semi-empirical calculations. The heat of formation (ΔHf○) and binding energy (ΔEb) for ligand and their complexes were calculated by (PM3) method at 298 K○. It was found that the ligand [L] and its metal complexes were stable, which agreed well with the experimental studies in solid state. Furthermore the electrostatic potential of the free ligand [L] was calculated to investigate the reactive sites of the molecules. PM3 were used to evaluate the bond length and vibrational spectra for the ligand [L] and their metal complexes then comparing with the experimental values. The work, which also included the induce Photostabilization of (PVC) film in air was investigated in the absence and presence of [L] and its complexes with transition metals (Co(ІІ), Ni(ІІ), Cu(ІІ), Zn(II)and Cd(II) by accelerated weathering tester. Polymer has been mixed with these complexes in solvent which containing of complex 0.5 % by weight. The photostabilization activity of these compounds was determined by monitoring the carbonyl (ICO),polyene(Ipo) and hydroxyl (IOH) indexes, weight loss method with irradiation time. It was found that the (ICO) (Ipo) and (IOH) indexes values increased with irradiation time and this increase depend on the type of additives.

High Strength Low Alloy (HSLA) steels were developed primarily for the automotive industry to replace low-carbon steels in order to improve the strength-to-weight ratio and meet the need for higher-strength construction grade materials. During this period, micro-alloyed or HSLA steels became an indispensable class for different applications like automobile industry, ship building, line pipe, pressure vessels, building construction, bridges, and storage tanks. Different welding techniques are used in this study to evaluate the mechanical properties of weldments of HSLA steel. Weldments are prepared using three welding processes such as shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), flux cored arc welding (FCAW) and friction stir welding (FSW). Friction stir welding (FSW) is a solid state technology that has attracted considerable interest since it was invented at TWI in 1991. Structural integrity issues in welding of HSLA steels are associated with different problems encountered in friction stir welding of these steels. The other important problem in welding HSLA steels is to prevent brittle fracture of welded joints due to increased strength of HSLA steels. The solid state characteristics of FSW eliminate the susceptibility of porosity and cracking. The objective is to determine the best welding process for HSLA steel by evaluating weld metal microstructure and mechanical properties including weld metal tensile strength and Charpy V-notch impact toughness are investigated. Charpy impact and tensile tests are performed on standard notched specimens obtained from the welded and main sections of the material. The hardness distribution measurements on the differently welded specimens are conducted in order to gain a deep insight of different welding processes.
