The development of science and technology today is so rapidly, making information systems have a vital role in trying to make progress in all areas of human life. As one of the areas that take advantage of technological advances, developments in education are certainly happening. Recognizing this, a movement is needed to introduce and provide further deepening to the community about the application of information technology developments in the field of education, especially in the people of Pekon Bandung Baru. Competition in the distribution industry is getting tighter. One of the things that makes a distribution company survive is the provision of products that are on time to consumers at the right time, and at an economical cost. Product availability and economical selling prices can only occur if there is good coordination between the company and the parties in its supply chain. Micro and medium enterprises are part of the national business. UMKM can also be considered as the locomotive of national and regional (regional) economic growth, because they have the potential to empower all available resources and encourage the growth of entrepreneurial development. The role of UMKM in Indonesia, namely increasing employment opportunities, equal distribution of income, rural economic development, increasing non-oil and gas exports and contributing to increasing GDP. On this basis, STMIK Pringsewu students collaborate with Pekon Podomoro to provide assistance services for people who have home industry businesses to have a digital-based sales platform, namely a social media. This activity aims to provide an understanding for UMKM players how to market food products, crafts, clothing, services and others using social media. From this activity, the people of Pekon Podomoro who have a home industry can market their products quickly, precisely and safely so that business actors can provide convenience to customers.

Technology is a form of development. All humans on earth are forced to open their eyes to technological changes that are so fast and affect all aspects of life. Inpres no 3 of 2003 formulated that the goal of e-Government development is an effort to develop (using) electronic-based governance in order to improve the quality of public services effectively and efficiently. Training on the use of Information Technology for the Pekon apparatus in Pringsewu Regency will provide additional knowledge regarding the functions and benefits of implementing e-government.

The development of information technology in Indonesia grows following the literacy level of society, from urban areas to villages or small areas. Information technology in the business sector itself has received quite a good response among business actors. Utilization of Information Technology in MSMEs as an Innovation As an innovation by MSMEs, of course, information technology has a number of advantages, including providing opportunities to expand market access, as a marketing medium, and many more. From the results of the initial analysis, it was found that the level of understanding of MSMEs in the Pringsewu area was still low regarding the use of information technology. From the results of the distribution of questions conducted before the training, there were 76% of participants did not understand the use of internet technology as a medium for promoting MSME products. After providing assistance and practice at the STMIK Pringsewu Lab, there was an increased understanding of more than 90% of MSME actors being able to utilize internet technology as a marketing medium.
