Penggunaan panel surya banyak dimanfaatkan masyarakat karena mampu bekerja menyerap energi matahari untuk menghasilkan sumber energi listrik, akan tetapi pergerakan panel surya kearah cahaya matahari masih bersifat manual (dibantu dengan manusia). Sistem terintegrasi Internet of Things bertujuan untuk memantau kerja dari panel surya dengan cara memperlihatkan sistem monitoring jarak jauh yang memanfaatkan jaringan internet. Variabel yang dimonitoring yaitu varibel pergerakan panel surya yang terdiri dari nilai tegangan analog, intensitas cahaya matahari, nilai kemiringan, posisi dan kondisi cuaca panel surya. Pada pengujian sudut pergerakan motor pengaturan derajat kemiringan dapat diatur pada posisi maksimal cahaya matahari. Posisi maksimal didapat sebesar 125o sejalan dengan intensitas cahaya yang didapat sebesar 1680 Lux, menghasilkan tegangan rata-rata sebesar 20,22 V, arus sebesar 2,10 A dan daya sebesar 43,07 W.

Lampu sebagai sumber cahaya yang banyak dimanfaatkan untuk keperluan sehari hari akan tetapi adanya permasalahan yang terjadi kurangnya pengaturan lampu penerangan dengan baik sehingga mengakibatkan cahaya lampu terlalu redup dan bahkan terlalu terang yang dampaknya membuat ketidaknyamanan didalam melihat. Internet of Things (IoT) berfungsi sebagai pengendali didalam memetakan dan memonitoring intensitas cahaya sensor melalui Smartphone yang didalamnya menampilkan pengukuran nilai intensitas pencahayaan dan monitoring pemetaan lampu penerangan. Dari hasil penelitian penerapan dari Internet of Things telah mampu memetakan dan memonitoring sensor lux GY-30 didalam mengukur intesitas cahaya, hal ini terlihat dari hasil pengukuran sensor sistem dan dibandingkan dengan Lux meter (Pabrikan) didapat nilai persentase kesalahan mulai 0,07% sampai 1,99%. Dari hasil persentase kesalahan yang didapat masih dikategorikan rendah dan layak untuk digunakan sebagai pengukuran intensitas cahaya dan pemetaan lampu juga telah bekerja dengan baik menyesuaikan nilai lux terbaca pada ruangan.

Research has been carried out aiming (i) to create a system and design a tool to calculate and add up the price of color and non-color printing, (ii) to determine the RGB frequency in determining a color, (iii) to find out the latest usage data in the Data Recorder program. The tool is designed to be able to calculate the type of concrete automatically, using the TCS3200 color sensor as a determinant of the type of mold with a 20x4 LCD display. The system uses the RTC DS1302 digital clock module, the SD Card Module for data storage as a function of the data logger program. The method applied in this research is the calculation method. This study uses international color measurement data as a frequency reference for the color sensor reading process, for the data logger program process using a PLX-DAQ (Parallax Data Acqusitions) program is an add-on to the parallax microcontroller data acquisition for Microsoft Excel. Making it easier to be able to unify tools in real time, by providing a color sensor calibration system program and storing data on an SD card (Data Logger) the results will be obtained, namely being able to distinguish color and colorless automatically with a tool success rate of 93.4% given a distance of 5 cm to the concrete paper.

Efarina Etaham Hospital provides Covid-19 vaccination services for the community. One of the factors that influence people not to vaccinate is the lack of knowledge or education about the vaccination process. This is proven by the fact that there are still many people in the Efarina Etaham Hospital environment who have not carried out vaccinations. For this reason, this research will provide solutions to solve these problems by utilizing technology. The need for education regarding the importance of vaccination will be poured into applications based on augmented reality. This application will display vaccine introduction, information on the Covid-19 vaccine, and how the vaccine works in the human body.

Research has been carried out prototype Smart home with IoT (Internet of Things) based on Wemos D1 Mini which can simulate the application of Smart home that can be accessed via the internet by connecting electronic devices to the internet with a Wemos D1 mini microcontroller, while processing all data in the form of input and output. , with control system via wemos and supported by MQ-2 sensor, flame sensor, PIR sensor, relay, buzzer, water pump and fan. The method applied in this research is the monitoring and control system development carried out in this study, namely: the design is equipped with several features, namely sending notifications to the SmartPhone in the form of reports and settings through the application so that it can help users to find out and get information about the conditions that occur at home. , this design is also equipped with an MQ-2 sensor when the sensor detects the 5V fan will turn on to suck gas / smoke out of the room, as a continuation if a gas leak occurs, this prototype is also equipped with a Flame sensor which can turn on the water pump as a fire suppression by The concentration of the sensor works at a wavelength of less than 450 nm, it is also equipped with a PIR Sensor that will turn on an alarm if an intruder is detected in the house and on the tile.

Community organization is a group formed by the community voluntarily based on the common aspirations, needs, and goals to be achieved. This community organization is not just built, but must have a clear permit. Many community organizations are formed in every region, not least in the province of North Sumatra. The agency that oversees all these organizations is the National and Political Unity Agency (BKBP) of North Sumatra Province. However, there is a current problem that is experienced, namely the absence of a forum that directly connects BKBP with existing community organizations, making it difficult for BKBP to monitor, know the location of the organization, and also make it difficult for the organization in terms of registering community organization permits because it still has to be done manually with bring all the files to the BKBP office. For this reason, this research will overcome these problems by utilizing technology through the development of a monitoring information system for community organizations, where this system can be used for registration of permits for community organizations, viewing activity reports, monitoring organizational activities, and reporting organizations that are troubling the community. This system is web-based using the PHP programming language and the Laravel framework.

This study aims to (i) determine the effect of adding glass bottle waste aggregate and coconut fiber ash to the characteristics of the bricks and (ii) to determine the composition of mixing glass bottle waste aggregate and coconut fiber ash so that bricks with optimal characteristics are produced. The materials used in this study were glass powder, coconut fiber ash, and clay with a composition of glass powder, coconut fiber ash, and clay 0%:0%:100%, 5%:5%: 90%, 10% :10%:80%, 15%:15%:70%, and 20%:20%:60% with a FAS of 0.5. The process of making bricks is done manually. Characterizations carried out include: compressive strength, water absorption, and density. The addition of glass bottle waste aggregate and coconut fiber ash as a substitute for clay has an effect on the characteristics of the bricks. As the amount of glass powder and coconut fiber ash increases, the compressive strength value tends to decrease, the water absorption value tends to increase, and the density value tends to decrease. The compressive strength values in all compositions of mixing glass powder, coconut fiber ash, and clay still do not meet the SNI 15-2094-2000 standard. The value of water absorption at the composition of 5%:5%: 90% and 10%:10%:80% already meets the standards of SNI 15-2094-2000. Density values in all compositions have met the standards of SNI 15-2094-2000, except for the composition 15%: 15%: 70%. %:10%:80%.

Augmented Reality is a combination of a virtual world (virtual) and a real world (real) created by computers. Virtual objects can be in the form of tests, animations, 3D models or videos that combine with the actual environment so that the user feels the virtual object is in their environment. In Augmented Reality technology, classic vehicle recognition media is an application that uses the markerless method, where in this method later using a marker as a pointer or marker to bring up 3D objects. This application helps users make it easier to find out about classic vehicles in the city of Medan, without having to search the internet and even on other social media. In its use, this application runs on the Android operating system so that it can make it easier for users to access the application.

Student aspirations are various demands that are packaged in students' creative ideas that propose a process of changing something. There is no aspiration complaint service system at the Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi, Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara. So that students do not have a place to express their aspirations. Along with the development of technology, a web-based student complaint application was made which is equipped with the AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) algorithm which is able to secure student aspiration messages so that the aspiration messages conveyed by students cannot be read by other students, so that student aspiration messages are more confidential. The design and manufacture of this web-based public complaint application uses the waterfall model. The waterfall model begins with the analysis stage, namely by analyzing and collecting data through interviews with students and the Administration of the Faculty of Science and Technology, the system design stage, namely by designing the system interface, the system coding stage, and this stage ends with the system testing stage. Carried out to determine the feasibility of the system.

Research has been carried out on the effect of adhesive variations on the heating value of briquettes made from tea leaf powder. This study aims to determine the quality of the briquettes produced, this research is motivated by the increasing need for human fuel, so that researchers use tea leaf powder as the main ingredient in making briquettes. The variation of the sample used was tea leaf powder using adhesives in the form of tapioca, wheat flour and molasses as adhesives. With a ratio of 80%:20% and 70%:30%. The analysis carried out is the Calorific Value test. The results obtained from the Calorific value test of briquettes with the best quality approaching the quality standards of Indonesian briquettes were obtained in sample C2 with a composition (70%:30%) which resulted in a heat absorption value of 112.86 cal/gram.
