Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa SMA yang ditinjau dari gaya kognitif Field Independent dan Field Dependent. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Rangkasbitung dengan sampel sebanyak dua kelas. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes GEFT untuk mengukur gaya kognitif dan tes tulis berbentuk essay untuk mengukur kemampuan penalaran matematika. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari 45% siswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif field dependent (FD) memiliki nilai rata-rata tes kemampuan penalaran matematis sebesar 58,95 sementara 55% siswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif field independent (FI) memiliki nilai rata-rata tes kemampuan penalaran matematis sebesar 61,87. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan gaya kognitif Field Dependent berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis sebesar 14,6% dan gaya kognitif Field Independent berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis sebesar 31,3%. Dari tiga indikator kemampuan penalaran matematis yang diteliti, kemampuan menggunakan pola, menganalisis situasi matematis dan memberi penjelasan menggunakan model dalam penyelesaian masalah matematika merupakan hal yang masih sulit dikuasai oleh siswa. Sementara kemampuan melaksanakan perhitungan berdasarkan aturan atau rumus tertentu telah dikuasai oleh siswa dengan nilai rata-rata baik. Untuk itu kegiatan pembelajaran matematika harus dirancang sedemikian rupa agar dapat menumbuhkan dan mengembangkan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa. Gaya kognitif Field Independent dan Field Dependent dapat menjadi dasar / landasan untuk guru merancang pembelajaran yang sesuai dan tepat.

Pada pembelajaran pokok bahasan pangkat rasional dan betuk akar, siswa dituntut untuk mengingat kembali pelajaran saat di SLTP seperti tentang bilangan berpangkat dengan bilangan pokok 10, pengertian perpangkatan, bilangan pokok, dan pangkat. Kesulitan siswa dalam mempelajari pokok bahasan tersebut lebih banyak disebabkan siswa lupa akan sifat-sifat bilangan tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui letak kesulitan siswa kelas 1 SMU Bina Dharma 2 Bandung dalam pembelajaran pokok bahasan pangkat rasonal dan bentuk akar. Sebagai subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas I SMU Bina Dharma 2 Bandung. Setelah dipilih secara acak maka diperoleh kelas I-1 sebagai subyek penelitiannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode deskriptif dan sebagai instrumen yang digunakan daam penelitian ini adalah tes. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pada sub pokok bahasan pangkat bulat positif dan negatif, siswa mengalami kesulitan menggunakan sifat-sifatnya, pada sub pokok bahasan bentuk akar siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam mengubah bentuk akar menjadi bilangan berpangkat, pada sub pokok bahasan merasionalkan bentuk akar siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menentukan bentuk sekawan dari penyebut pecahan tersebut, dan pada sub pokok bahasan persamaan pangkat sederhana siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam mengubah suatu bilangan menjadi bilangan berpangkat.

Kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif merupakan hal yang penting dalam belajar matematika, namun upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif di Indonesia belum berjalan dengan baik. Karena itu peneliti ingin mengkaji dimana letak permasalahan siswa dalam menghadapi soal-soal berpikir kritis dan kreatif matematis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan disain Basic qualitativa research approach. Kegiatannya adalah mengkaji jawaban siswa hasil mengerjakan soal berpikir kritis dan kreatif matematis siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan di dua SMP di kabupaten Cianjur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permasalahan yang menyebabkan siswa lemah dalam menghadapi soal-soal berpikir kritis dan kreatif matematik adalah banyak siswa masih tidak dapat memahami masalah.

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan pembelajaran struktural think pair share (TPS) yang diterapkan dalam pembelajaran matematika mengenai kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa SMP. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode quasi-experiment untuk mengumpulkan data menggunakan tes komunikasi matematis. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah siswa SMP kelas VII semester genap di Kabupaten Sumedang. Sampel berasal dari dua kelas. Satu kelas digunakan untuk kelompok kontrol sebanyak 25 siswa; satu lagi untuk kelompok eksperimen sebanyak 28 siswa. Pada kelompok kontrol, siswa hanya diajarkan dalam lingkungan belajar dengan menggunakan ekpositori sedangkan kelompok eksperimental dipelajari melalui model pembelajaran TPS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa:1) terdapat perbedaan pencapaian kemampuan komunikasi matematis secara signifikan antara siswa yang belajar dengan TPS dengan siswa yang belajar dengan pembelajaran ekspositori; 2) peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas eksperimen (TPS) lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol (expository). Implikasi pendekatan pembelajaran TPS adalah dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif pembelajaran untuk melatih kerja sama siswa. Penerapan pembelajaran TPS guru harus memperhatikan alokasi waktu, membimbing dan mengarahkan aktivitas siswa dan tahapan-tahapan dalam pembelajaran, sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dalam belajar matematika.

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada permasalahan masih rendahnya kemampuan mengajukan masalah matematis siswa dan penggunaan bahan ajar siswa yang masih terbatas saat proses pembelajaran. Sebagai alternatif dari permasalahan tersebut dilakukan penelitian dengan mengembangkan bahan ajar Siswa dengan menggunakan metode SQ4R dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari Penelitian Disertasi Doktor yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan bahan ajar berupa LKS matematika dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengajukan masalah matematis siswa. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (research and development) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation). Subjek sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari: 30 orang siswa kelas XII sebagai subjek kelas ujicoba dan 80 siswa kelas XI sebagai subjek kelas implementasi. Jenis data yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket uji validitas, angket respon siswa dan instrumen tes kemampuan mengajukan masalah matematika. Sedangkan teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif, kualitatif dan inferensial. LKS hasil pengembangan dalam penelitian ini telah teruji dengan rata-rata kevalidan 3,44, rata-rata kepraktisan sebesar 3,89 dan nilai rata-rata tes kemampuan mengajukan masalah matematis siswa berada pada kriteria tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka dapat diidentifikasikan bahwa LKS yang menggunakan metode SQ4R ini valid, efektif dan praktis dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengajukan masalah matematis siswa.

This research is a type of descriptive research that aims to describe the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts in solving problems, especially related to the concept of set. The subjects of this study were seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Cibadak Lebak Regency 2018/2019 Academic Year as many as 30 people. The instrument used in this study is a test of mathematical comprehension ability in the form of description. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively to find out the mean, mode, percentage of ideal scores, standard deviations and variances. In addition, it also describes the ability of students' mathematical understanding for each indicator. The results of the analysis are obtained: 1) Overall the average ability of students' mathematical understanding is 70% of the ideal score; 2) The average mathematical ability of students on indicator 1 is 56% of the ideal score; 3) The average ability of students on indicator 2 is 88%; 4) The average mathematical ability of students on indicator 3 is 79% of the ideal score; 5) The average mathematical ability of students on indicator 4 is 54% of the ideal score; 6) The average mathematical ability of students on indicator 5 is 84% of the ideal score. The ability of students' mathematical understanding based on the average of each indicator, the lowest is the fourth indicator, namely the ability to present the concept. And the highest average is the second indicator, namely the ability to identify examples and not examples because the questions given are counted easily. Included in the category of very high mathematical understanding ability there are 7 people, 11 people high, 8 people enough, and 4 people low. Overall students who are able to understand mathematically 18 people who get a score above KBM (Minimum Learning Criteria) of 30 students.

The subjects of this study were seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Cibadak Lebak Regency 2018/2019 Academic Year as many as 30 people. The instrument used in this study is a test of mathematical comprehension ability in the form of description. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively to find out the mean, mode, percentage of ideal scores, standard deviations and variances. In addition, it also describes the ability of students' mathematical understanding for each indicator. The results of the analysis are obtained: 1) Overall the average ability of students' mathematical understanding is 70% of the ideal score; 2) The average mathematical ability of students on indicator 1 is 56% of the ideal score; 3) The average ability of students on indicator 2 is 88%; 4) The average mathematical ability of students on indicator 3 is 79% of the ideal score; 5) The average mathematical ability of students on indicator 4 is 54% of the ideal score; 6) The average mathematical ability of students on indicator 5 is 84% of the ideal score. The ability of students' mathematical understanding based on the average of each indicator, the lowest is the fourth indicator, namely the ability to present the concept. And the highest average is the second indicator, namely the ability to identify examples and not examples because the questions given are counted easily. Included in the category of very high mathematical understanding ability there are 7 people, 11 people high, 8 people enough, and 4 people low. The reality of the process of learning mathematics that occurs commonly in the field it’s complicating dan confusing students. This is very impact on interest and student learning outcomes. One of the alternative to improve students in understanding the definition of logarithms. The purpose of this study is to know the understanding of learning concepts and to know the response of students during the learning process. The research was located at SMA Negeri 15 Bandung, in class XII-Language, the number of students 20 people consisting of 6 male students and 14 female students. The location is on jl. Sarimanis I Sarijadi Bandung. Classroom action research method with research design consists of 4 (four) stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The study was conducted 2 cycles. Reflection results of the 1st cycle used as the 2nd cycle’s plan material in order to the 2nd cycle of learning process more focused. The results concluded that: The use of image illustration media can improve the concept of logarithm definition. The results of questionnaires and interviews with students showed all students were happy with the learning process, all students interested in discussing with friends, all students declared the role of teachers help in working easily and interactively, most assume the given problem is not too difficult, most students more active, and all students love to solve the problem of logarithm by using illustration of the picture. The method of group teaching is more appropriate because students can communicate with other friends so that all students can understand the definition of logarithms correctly. 学习数学的现实过程在数学领域中很常见,它使学生们感到复杂和困惑。这对学生的兴趣和学习成果有很大的影响。这是提高学生对对数定义理解的一种替代方法。本研究的目的是了解学生对学习概念的理解,了解学生在学习过程中的反应。本研究地点在万隆SMA Negeri 15,在12 -语言班,学生人数20人,其中男6名,女14名。地点在j1。Sarimanis I Sarijadi万隆。具有研究性设计的课堂行动研究方法包括4个阶段:计划、实施、观察和反思。研究进行了2个周期。将第一周期的反思结果作为第二周期的计划材料,以便第二周期的学习过程更加集中。结果表明:使用图像说明媒体可以提高对数定义的概念。对学生的问卷调查和访谈结果显示,所有学生都对学习过程感到满意,所有学生都对与朋友讨论感兴趣,所有学生都表示教师在工作中起到了轻松互动的帮助作用,大多数学生认为给定的问题并不太难,大多数学生更积极,所有学生都喜欢用图片说明来解决对数问题。小组教学的方法更合适,因为学生可以和其他朋友交流,这样所有的学生都能正确地理解对数的定义。关键词:图像说明,对数定义,概念理解

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam penerapan model pembelajaran ARIAS (Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, dan Satisfaction). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Karawang dengan sampel sebanyak satu kelas. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari tes, dan angket. Tes yang digunakan adalah tes tipe pilihan ganda beralasan dan uraian. Angket berupa skala motivasi menggunakan Skala Likert. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan: terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam penerapan model pembelajaran ARIAS (Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, dan Satisfaction).
本研究的目的是确定学习动机对学生的学习结果(Assurance, Relevance, Interest,评估和满足)的影响。这项研究是一项实验研究。本研究的人口是整个X班SMK country 1 Karawang,样本达1班。研究工具包括测试和量规。所使用的测试是一种基于推理和描述的多项选择题。量规是使用Likert量表的动机尺度。研究结果表明:学习动机对学习者的学习结果对学习者的学习结果有影响。

This research is based on the problems of many elementary students who have difficulty solving math problems especially those related to students' mathematical communication ability. The purpose of this study is to answer the question whether by Think-Talk-Write method (TTW) can develop student self confidence. The research method used is Classroom Action Research, which consists of 3 learning cycles, each cycle consists of 3 actions. Population in this research is grade 6 student of SD in Bandung City. The instruments used include students' mathematical communication skills such as stories, questionnaires, observation guidelines, interviews and documentation. The quantitative data obtained were analyzed using SPSS 19, while the qualitative data used Miles & Huberman technique. The results showed that there is an increase in self-confidence of students with learning Think-Talk-Write method (TTW). The recommendation in this research emphasizes the learning of Think-Talk-Write method (TTW) as one of the alternative learning method that able to give good benefit and stimulation to the ability and confidence of elementary school students in mathematics learning in accordance with the stages of cognitive development of students.

This study was conducted based on low learning outcomes, especially in mathematics subjects and know the influence of Brain Based Learning model of learning toward mathematics learning. This research uses experimental method. The instrument used in this study is the instrument of mathematics learning results in the form of a description test, and the scale of attitudes containing statements of student attitudes toward learning mathematics. The data collected then dioal with rock SPSS 17.0 For Windows. Then proceed with the test of normality, homogeneity and equality of two averages using the t-test. Based on the results of data analysis obtained conclusion: (1) the results of learning mathematics students who use learning Brain Based Learning is better than conventional learning. (2) students are positive towards learning mathematics after using Brain Based Learning learning.
本研究是基于低年级学生的学习效果,特别是数学科目的学习效果,了解基于大脑的学习模式对数学学习的影响。本研究采用实验方法。本研究使用的工具是数学学习结果量表,其形式为描述测验,态度量表包含学生对数学学习态度的陈述。收集的数据然后用SPSS 17.0 For Windows进行拨号。然后使用t检验对两个平均值的正态性、齐性和相等性进行检验。根据对结果的数据分析得出结论:(1)使用脑基学习的学生学习数学的结果优于常规学习。(2)使用脑基学习后,学生对数学的学习态度是积极的。
