To confront several challenges (e.g., system complexity, energy consumption etc.), hybrid precoding is largely investigated in mmWave massive MIMO systems due to its low energy consuming nature and reduced system complexity.

The paper aims to examine women vulnerability across 29 different states and 7 union Territories from period 2001-2014 in India. A Women Vulnerability Index (WVI) is formed by using Principal component analysis (PCA) based on different factors i.e. Rape, Cruelty by husband , Insult to Modesty, Dowry Deaths, Kidnapping and Abduction and relatives, Assault with an intent to outrage modesty, Immoral Trafficking and Dowry cases.

Personnel Safety Performance Enhancement of a Numerically Modeled Biological Safety Cabinet Class II Type A2 By Adding an Air Curtain 加气幕提高ⅱ类A2型数值模拟生物安全柜人员安全性能

Biological safety cabinets (BSC) are devices that are widely used by microbiologists and pharmacists when handling biohazardous materials. A safe working environment shall be achieved while using such devices. However, the safety of the BSC operators is compromised as these devices are very sensitive to the air pattern surrounding them. Isolating the interior area of the BSC from the surroundings using an air curtain at the front of the BSC was simulated using a 3D numerical model. The air used as an air curtain was drawn from the breathing zone of the operator to decrease the probability of any contaminant escape from the inside of the device towards the face of the operator. This numerical study was done simulating the dimensions, air velocities, air pressures of an actual 4-foot BSC class II type A2. The air curtain modification was added to the numerical model to compare the safety performance enhancement before and after adding the air curtain. To calculate the performance enhancement in the numerical study 1x10^5 particles were discharged from the supply HEPA filter and were traced at the breathing zone of the operator where the BSC after modification showed 16.32 % decrease in the number of the traced particles

Distribution of anthracnose disease in orchards in the mango production area in northern regions of Cote d'Ivoire 科特迪瓦北部芒果产区果园中炭疽病的分布

Anthracnose disease is one of the main major biotic constraints to the marketing of mango in Côte d'Ivoire. The objective of this work is to report on the distribution of mango anthracnose disease in the mango production basin in northern Côte d'Ivoire. This study focused on 740 mango trees spread over 20 orchards, consisting mainly of the Kent variety. These orchards are located in three (3) study locations, namely the Bagoué, Tchologo and Poro regions. The study consisted of evaluating the incidence and severity of anthracnose in leaf, fruit and branch organs of 740 mango trees in 20 orchards in the three study regions.

SahooInfluenza A virus (IAV) is a well-known human respiratory pathogen of the family Orthomyxoviridae. Though infection is primarily considered to be limited only to the respiratory system where it can cause very severe pulmonary problems and ultimately can lead to death, extrapulmonary complications such as myocarditis and encephalitis have also been observed. As IAV targets various hosts, including human, swine, avian, equine and poultry, the emergence of novel strains is highly expected, which generates a constant threat of the emergence of unpredictable pandemics.

Isoxazole as a key building block has been widely used and is an important heterocyclic unit.

Fast detection and accurate classification of traffic signs is one of the major aspects of advance driver assistance system (ADAS) and intelligent transport systems (ITS), this paper presents a comparison between an 8-Layer convolutional neural network (CNN), and some state of the Arts model such as VGG16 and Resnet50, for traffic sign classification on The GTSRB. using a GPU to increase processing time, the design showed that with various augmentation applied to the CNN, our 8-layer Model was able to outperform the State of the Arts models with a higher test Accuracy, 50 times lesser training parameters, and faster training time our 8 -layer model was able to achieve 96% test accuracy.

Solid Waste Management comprises steps like collection, transportation, and disposal, and in an efficient waste management process, it is essential to monitor and design each process scientifically. Disposal in landfills is a general practice however; owing to inefficient segregation before disposal the wastes are highly toxic with the potential to affect the hygiene of the earth. It is observed that half of the wastes disposed of are toxic and this underpins the importance of segregation before disposing of. Also, identification of appropriate sites for landfill development is important and it is preferred to build them in areas that are sparsely populated.
