Telogen Effluvium is defined as diffuse hair loss without scarring of the scalp which occurs after a stressful event. The storm of inflammatory cytokines can lead to the premature interruption of the anagen phase, resulting in excessive hair loss. The diagnosis is clinical. A 67-year-old woman with a previous diagnosis of stabilized androgenetic alopecia was infected with SARS-CoV-2 and, two months later, sought dermatological care due to intense hair loss. Telogen Effluvium was diagnosed in addition to her existing condition. Treatment involved the infiltration of active agents, combined with red LED and Fraxel laser in the affected area of the scalp, alternating with intralesional Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injections into the scalp. Daily use of finasteride and oral biotin, along with topical minoxidil, was also part of the therapy. The result was significant hair recovery. Further research is needed to better define treatment guidelines.

In recent years, the development of some photoswitches based on azobenzene group provides a good tool for high spatio-temporal and precise regulation of ion channels and protein receports, but these small molecular photoswitches are very easily diffused in organisms. To overcome this limit, we have designed a photoswitches SY1 containing photocrosslinked group diazirine. The photoswitch was synthesized by the condensation reaction between azobenzene derivative and diazirine. The structure of the compound was characterized by 1H NMR and HR-MS, and the photophysical properties of the photoswtich SY1 were studied by UV-vis spectroscopy in different solvent systems. The results show that SY1 has excellent photodependent isomerization.

Moringa oleifera L. is a plant used throughout the world in many fields, including agriculture, health and nutrition. Moringa oleifera leaves are consumed throughout West Africa, particularly in Côte d'Ivoire by vulnerable populations. With a view to enhancing the value of the Moringa oleifera plant, a contribution to nutritional composition and clinical tolerance in rats force-fed an aqueous extract of this plant was studied. The study was carried out experimentally on 12 adult female Albino Wistar rats divided into two (2) batches of six (6) rats. The first batch received distilled water by gavage (twice a day for 4 days), while the second received the aqueous extract of Moringa oleifera at 0.2 g/mL by gavage. Nutritional composition indicated protein, lipid, carbohydrate, ash and dietary fiber contents of 26.12±0.18%; 6.8±0.13%; 14.37±0.26%; 9.5±0.67% and 43.2±0.519% respectively. Acidity and pH values were also 1.1±0.0 meq/100 g and 5.3±0.00 respectively. After observation, all animals survived for the duration of the experiment and showed no adverse clinical signs. This shows that the aqueous extract of Moringa oleifera is not only rich in nutrients, but is also clinically tolerated by rats. These results open up interesting prospects for the use of the Moringa oleifera plant in the form of an alicament that could be an effective means of combating public health diseases in breastfeeding women.

Tuberculosis is a chronic infectious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis, often associated with pulmonary infection. It is essential to recognize that this pathology can manifest in various parts of the body. The most common extrapulmonary manifestation is in the genitourinary system. The diagnosis of testicular tuberculosis is often complicated, as the symptoms can be nonspecific and overlap with other testicular conditions. A case was reported of a male patient, incarcerated, with a painless, indurated lesion in the left scrotum, evolving over approximately 5 months, who was later diagnosed with testicular tuberculosis. Emphasizing the importance of considering this differential diagnosis in patients with epididymitis that is difficult to resolve and who belong to risk populations, for appropriate treatment.
