After recalculation of the statistical analysis, the following sections should be corrected. %e fourth paragraph in the results section, “Uterine artery PI and RI mean values were 1,42 and 0,67 in abnormal placental histology group. For normal histology group, they were 12, 1,02, and 0,56% in order (P< 0.01).” should be changed to “Uterine artery PI and RI mean values were 1.49 and 0.66 in the abnormal placental histology group. For the normal histology group, they were 1.05 and 0.55 in order (P< 0.01).” %e second paragraph in the discussion section, “But in our study there was no significant difference among two groups for birth weights.” should be changed to “In concordance with the previous finding, we reported significant difference among the two groups for birth weight.” %e third paragraph in the discussion section, “In the present study, bilateral notching was found in 45/100 of the normal histology group in first trimester and 12/100 of the normal histology group in second trimester. %e ratio was 16/16 of the abnormal placental histology group (P< 0.01). Glioblastoma multiforme is the most invasive and aggressive brain tumor in humans, and despite the latest chemical and radiative therapeutic approaches, it is still scarcely sensitive to these treatments and is generally considered an incurable disease. This paper will focus on the latest approaches to the treatment of this cancer, including the new chemicals such as proautophagic drugs and kinases inhibitors, and di ff erentiating agents. In this field, there have been opening new perspectives as the discovery of possible specific targets such as the EGFRvIII, a truncated form of the EGF receptor. Antibodies against these targets can be used as proapoptotic agents and as possible carriers for chemicals, drugs, radioisotopes, and toxins. In this paper, we review the possible mechanism of action of these therapies, with particular attention to the combined use of toxic substances (for example, immunotoxins) and antiproliferative/di ff erentiating compounds (i.e., ATRA, PPAR γ agonists). All these aspects will be discussed in the view of progress clinical trials and of possible new approaches for directed drug formulations.
