Goal-Oriented Requirements Engineering 目标导向需求工程

Process for uniformly distributing a fluid such as a gas upwardly through a cylindrical bed of a particulate contact material, preferably a downwardly moving catalyst, without interfering with the downward flow of the material. The contact material of the cylindrical bed is confined within the outer wall of the open bottomed cylindrical chamber while additional contact material is confined under and radially outwardly of the cylindrical chamber. The fluid is introduced into an annular chamber surrounding the outer wall of the cylindrical chamber and caused to flow uniformly around its bottom end downwardly into the additional contact material and then upwardly and uniformly into the cylindrical bed.

Pivoting in software startups. Motivations, process and evaluation 软件创业公司的转型。动机,过程和评估

: Various studies affirm that software startups fail in the first months or years, generally because they did not validate their business hypothesis, and they refuse to implement changes called pivots. In this paper we present the results of a field study whose purpose was to identify how pivots are decided, implemented, and evaluated in software startups. From interviews with founders of ten software startups, it is found that the most common factors that generate the need to pivot are: “negative reaction from customers”, “positive reaction from an unforeseen customer segment” and “focus on the target market”, and the most used types of pivots are “Technology”, “Value capture” and “Customer segment”.

Framework socialmente consciente para criação de RPGs para contribuir com o processo de ensino e aprendizagem de Engenharia de Software 创建角色扮演的社会意识框架,以促进软件工程的教学和学习过程

Este artigo apresenta uma pesquisa de doutorado em andamento que objetiva elaborar um framework para criação de jogos de RPG (Role-playing Game) para contribuir com o processo de ensino e aprendizagem de Engenharia de Software (ES). A inovação estará no processo de design do framework, que irá implementar o Design Socialmente Consciente (DSC), o qual possibilita um olhar social somado aos requisitos técnicos. Os métodos de pesquisa incluem pesquisa bibliográfica, oficinas de design semioparticipativo, prototipação e validação do protótipo com o público alvo. Espera-se contribuir com a ampliação da produção e aplicação de jogos no ensino e aprendizagem de ES bem como a disseminação do DSC.

Evaluation and Improvement of Narrative Visualizations 叙事可视化的评价与改进

In the field of Information Visualization, storytelling techniques help to communicate facts and enhance comprehension. The use of data storytelling best practices can inform the process of creating narrative visualizations and increase the quality of charts used in software applications by improving aspects such as memorability or engagement, for instance, supporting end users in the decision-making process. The main goal of this doctoral research is to develop a method for assessing and improving the quality of narrative visualizations in software products, like scatter plots, line, bar, or pie charts, among others. This has included a case study and a systematic mapping study.

Formulación de Procesos para una Ingenieria de Explotación de Información Espacial 空间信息开发工程的流程制定

Los proyectos de explotación de información brindan un marco para la ejecución de actividades para la extracción de conocimiento a partir de conjuntos de datos para dar soporte a la toma de decisiones estratégicas. Esta extracción se realiza mediante la implementación de procesos de explotación de información que definen una secuencia lógica de actividades para la manipulación de datos y la búsqueda de patrones de conocimiento. Entre los tipos de datos factibles a ser minados se encuentran los datos espacialmente referenciados que poseen un conjunto de características y propiedades que no son tenidas en cuenta por los procesos de explotación de información previamente definidos. Entre estas características se pueden mencionar la multiplicidad de tipos de representación, la variedad de relaciones espaciales implícitas que pueden ser extraídas a partir de las instancias de los mismos y que suelen ser valiosas en la toma de decisiones, y los fenómenos de autocorrelación y heterogeneidad espacial, que afectan la confianza en los resultados obtenidos. Asimismo, la disponibilidad de herramientas software para el procesamiento de datos espaciales utilizadas en la implementación de los procesos es limitada, por lo que se busca posibilitar esta exploración mediante el uso de técnicas flexibles y presentes en multiplicidad de plataformas al día de la fecha. En este contexto, el trabajo de tesis doctoral propone un conjunto de cuatro procesos de explotación de información espacialmente referenciada: un proceso para el descubrimiento de grupos espaciales, uno para el descubrimiento de anomalías, uno para el descubrimiento de asociaciones espaciales y uno para el descubrimiento de patrones de co-localización. Estos procesos han sido diseñados considerando requerimientos no funcionales de utilidad, referida a la percepción de los usuarios sobre su uso para resolver problemas de negocios en contextos varios, interpretabilidad, relacionado con la facilidad de interpretación de los resultados, y adaptabilidad, considerando distintas formas de llevar a cabo su implementación sobre distintas plataformas. Finalmente, cada propuesta fue demostrada mediante el uso de distintos conjuntos de datos y sus requerimientos no funcionales fueron validados mediante el juicio de expertos, consolidando de esta forma un conjunto de estrategias para la resolución de problemas de negocios que involucran datos espacialmente referenciados considerando todas las particularidades que suceden a raíz de sus características contextuales.

On the Continuous Delivery in IoT Systems 关于物联网系统中的持续交付

The development of IoT systems brings the adequacy of software engineering to current paradigms, such as IoT, industry 4.0, smart cities and environments, and wearable devices. IoT systems require the integration of different technologies such as sensors, actuators, edge devices, cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence, and IT operations. The successful delivery of products depends directly on the continuous cooperation of professionals with different skills. However, we noticed a specific resistance in carrying out continuous and automated software deliveries to hardware devices by professionals. This research investigates the practices and technologies for the continuous software delivery pipeline on hardware devices that make up an IoT system.
