Purpose: The purpose of this article is to analyze the prospects of cooperation between universities and the business world on the example of training courses implemented within the framework of a project funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW). The paper presents the objectives, nature, and importance of business education projects that affect the form of university-business cooperation. The article presents the barriers and advantages, that is, the factors determining the cooperation between the university and business. The study is based on the results of a survey of the target group participating in training courses, a literature review and focus interviews. The conducted research allowed to analyze the main barriers to cooperation between universities and businesses and identify measures to improve the efficiency of technology transfer and commercialization of innovations within educational projects. results this work can become an incentive to undertake further research on the cooperation between and benefits of cooperation for recipients. Practical implications: The results can be used to develop educational activities aimed at forming an academic ecosystem of startups and increasing the effectiveness of cooperation between universities and business in the framework of scientific projects. Social implications: The implementation of research results will contribute to improving the level of education and employment of the population. Originality/value: As a result of the research, it was found that the implementation of business education projects can become a driver for the development of university startups and increase the interest of university employees in cooperation with business.

Purpose: The main purpose of the article is to present, based on the literature on the subject, the essence of the innovative potential and innovative activity of a company as generators of innovative processes. Design/methodology/approach : The study used the methodology developed by Eurostat and OECD, as presented in the Oslo Manual. Findings: The empirical part presents, using statistical data, the innovative activity of Polish industrial enterprises in the years 2017-2019. Originality/value : The survey of industrial and service enterprises was conducted between 2017 and 2019, and its results were published in 2020. The results of the study can be used in strategic decisions of enterprises in the field of innovative activities of Polish industrial enterprises.

Purpose: In order to maintain the highest possible quality of services, more and more often the 9 enterprises make use of proven optimization methods that allow them to maintain 10 competitiveness on the market. One of these methods is spatial placement of workstations that 11 influences the functioning of enterprises. There are many techniques of placing workstations, 12 depending on the business activity run by the company. 13 Design/methodology/approach: This article presents the use of Bloch-Schmigalla triangular 14 method to improve the placement of office workstations in a commercial industry enterprise. 15 The method used allowed to improve the functioning of the company by shortening the time 16 for forwarding of all documents and information. 17 Findings: The use of Bloch-Schmigalla triangular method allowed for quick placement of 18 workstations, new placement of workstations. As a result, the workstations will not be as loaded 19 and specific tasks will be performed faster. The time saved can be used to complete other tasks. 20 Thanks to Bloch-Schmigalla triangular method, the distances between the workstations are 21 equal. Before, the distances between several of the workstations were greater than in the case 22 of other ones. 23 Research limitations/implications: The major limitation of the paper is that it is based on one 24 case of an.
