Successful aging is an increasingly up-to-date issue with today’s medical advances. As people get older, they experience significant social, physical and psychological declines [1-2]. These declines affect the social life of the individual negatively and decrease life satisfaction and quality [3-5]. Increased technological advances and medical innovations help individuals’ lives. These positive developments may develop except for the individual’s awareness. Individuals may experience problems with neglect, overlook, ignoring, disregard, postpone, forgetting [6-12].

Disorders of coagulation such as hemophilia can have profound effects on health and development beginning in the early stages of life, including pregnancy. With regard to mode of delivery planning for hemophilia A carriers bearing affected fetuses, there is little literature to guide practice and there remains little consensus regarding optimal mode of delivery. Importantly, most of the existing literature focuses solely on risk to the fetus without consideration of risk to the mother. We discuss the complex management decisions and present an argument for vaginal delivery as the “default” option, in the absence of strong maternal or fetal indications for cesarean delivery.

The discussion of euthanasia has been aroused in Hong Kong after a teacher’s accident which caused him quadriplegia for 25 years. The teacher requested euthanasia, which was unlawful in Hong Kong. After 14 years, the development of euthanasia remains static. Without strong demand and voices in society to change the position of the existing law on euthanasia, public consultation on a proposal of allowing euthanasia has been delayed and not yet accomplished. In this article, it will discuss the situation and progress of euthanasia in Hong Kong. Ethical principles namely autonomy and beneficence and ethical theory (utilitarianism), Code of Ethics and Religion plays a contributing impact on euthanasia. The role of nurses in euthanasia is also important as nurses spent most of the time with the patient. At present, there is no clear guidance for nurses on euthanasia. Their role can be categorized into three phases namely, pre-euthanasia, intra-euthanasia and post-euthanasia stage. The discussion in this paper provide a more concrete and clear description of nurses’ role and responsibilities of nurses not only limited to Hong Kong, it can also be used in other countries.

Lipoma arborescens is a benign tumor of the synovial, which appears, in majority of cases, unilaterally around the knee joint but in rare cases it can also be seen around other large joints (hip, ankle) or tendon sheaths. Extremely rarely, revelation has been reported on wrist or hand. The etiology is unclear and is characterized by the replacement of sub synovial tissue with mature fat cells giving rise to a villous proliferation. We report a 58 years old female with a dorsal palpable soft growing mass on dorsal surface of the wrist in which initially ultrasound diagnosis revealed gaglion cyst, while biopsy after surgical excision determined lipoma arborescens. The aim of this study is to identify that lipoma arborences should be considered in differential diagnosis of soft tumors of the wrist.

The work concludes that consciousness is an emergent fifth force of the multiverse that is embodied to constitute the I, transcendental ego, of the human mind through practical activity and conflict.

Hepatocellular carcinoma is the most common primary carcinoma of the liver, that metastasises most commonly to lungs, lymph nodes, bones and adrenal glands. We report a case of a 70 years old female, with a left breast metastasis from hepatocellular carcinoma, along with hepatocellular carcinoma recurrence in the liver, that underwent a left mastectomy. The pathological report confirmed the metastasis. To the best of our knowledge, this is the second study reporting a breast metastasis from primary hepatocellular carcinoma.
