Generalized pustular psoriasis (GPP) is a severe inflammatory skin disease characterized by the presence of sterile pustules covering almost the entire body and it may be associated with systemic symptoms. There is an increasing need for specific treatment options for GPP, because this skin disorder is frequently resistant to therapies indicated for chronic plaque psoriasis. Preliminary data suggest that interleukin (IL)-17 could be a promising therapeutic target for GPP.

Arterial injuries involving lower limbs are rare; main causes are traffic related trauma and iatrogenic lesions during orthopaedics surgical procedures [1]. The clinical manifestations of these injuries typically result in hemorrhagic or ischemic symptoms. Open vascular surgery has been the gold standard in the management of vascular extremity injuries for many years [2] but in the last two decades endovascular techniques have proved to be as effective as open surgery and have been increasingly adopted for treating these lesions [1].

Acute Calcific Tendinitis of the Subscapularis Tendon: A Rare Case Diagnosed by Ultrasound Imaging and Treated Successfully? 急性肩胛下肌腱钙化性腱鞘炎:一例罕见的超声诊断和成功治疗?

Calcific tendinitis (CT) is an acute or chronic painful shoulder disorder characterised by single or multiple deposits of calcium hydroxyapatite crystals in the rotator cuff tendon or subacromial bursa leading to inflammation around deposits [1-3]. The most commonly affected tendon is the supraspinatus tendon at its insertion on the humerus trochanter , being involved in 51-82% of cases. More rarely, it is located on the infraspinatus (15-30%), the subscapularis (10%), or the teres minor (<10%) [1]. Approximately 6.8% of patients with painful shoulders are caused by CT.

Foreign Body in Thigh of Crawled Baby: Case Report 爬行婴儿大腿异物1例

Before age of 6 months foreign body injuries by penetrating bodies are very rare and extraordinary form of childhood injuries [1]. When we examine the literature, it is suggested that the childhood penetrating body injuries particularly occurred by the sewing needles should be considered as non-accidental injuries and especially child abuse should be kept in mind. It is suggested that the pediatrician or the emergency doctors who initially examine these patient must be careful [2]. Diagnosis needs multidisciplinary approach [3]. Some other findings in the examination should also be searched to suspect child abuse. These findings can be multiple bruises in different healing age, bone fractures on atypical localizations, burns and there is usually a delay in presentation [4]. In our case interestingly there are not any additional examination findings or pathology to suspect child abuse and it is excluded by family examination and the history of event.

Primary Active Epstein-Barr Virus Infection Coexisting With Henoch-Schonlein Purpura in a Child: A Rare Trigger Factor of Henoch-Schonlein Purpura 儿童原发性活动性eb病毒感染并发过敏性紫癜:过敏性紫癜的罕见触发因素

Henoch-Schonlein purpura (HSP), also known as IgA vasculitis, is the most common vasculitis that effects the small vessels of the skin, joints, gastrointestinal tract, and kidneys in childhood. Epstein barr virus infection is a mild, asymptomatic infection and uncomplicated disease. It is stated that an Epstein–Barr virus infection might be a trigerr factor for Henoch-Schonlein purpura and this togetherness is rarely reported. Herein, we described a patient with Henoch-Schonlein purpura associated with primary active EBV infection. We hope our case report will create awareness of EBV in HSP vasculitis and we suggest that routine serologic investigations may help to detect the possible etiology and/or stimulant factors of HSP.
