Simulation and Evaluation of GAN-based Implementation of Infrared Texture Generation 基于 GAN 的红外纹理生成仿真与评估

At present, the demand for the simulation technology of infrared view is markedly expanding. However, the related main research orientations are influenced by numerous factors. Thus, the availability of infrared images for special scenes is difficult to determine, and their practical applications are limited. This study proposed a method based on generative adversarial network (GAN) to reveal its influence on the generation of infrared texture and produce infrared texture in infrared view simulation. By combining the needs of texture generation in infrared simulation and the superiority of image style transfer in texture generation, three algorithms for style transfer based on GAN, namely, Algorithms I, II, and III, were introduced to establish pretrained models. Simulation results of the three models were then evaluated using histograms, structural similarity (SSIM), and peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR), and the effects of colors of the infrared images in the texture generation were compared. The validity of these models was also verified. Results demonstrate that infrared images in a specified scene can be simulated without the need for a large number of training datasets, and the simulation images generated by transferring in black-and-white infrared style images are better than those in color infrared style images. The histogram evaluation index shows that Algorithm III is higher than Algorithms I and II by approximately 0.06. The SSIM evaluation index reveals that Algorithm II is higher than Algorithms I and II by 0.09 and 0.06 dB, respectively. The PSNR evaluation index indicates that Algorithm III is higher than Algorithms I and II by approximately 0.31 dB. Thus, this study provides a practical value in the field of infrared simulation technology.

Monitoring and Prediction of Surface Subsidence in Mining Areas by Integrating SBAS-InSAR and ELM 通过整合 SBAS-InSAR 和 ELM 监测和预测矿区地表沉降

With the rapid economic development in China, coal resources are being exploited greatly, which easily causes geological disasters due to surface subsidence. Fast and accurate surface subsidence monitoring and forecasting in mining regions are important references to analyze surface variation laws and disaster warning. However, differential interferometric synthetic aperture radar (D-InSAR) in mine surface monitoring is highly sensitive to spatiotemporal baseline and atmospheric delay. In addition, traditional machine learning algorithms have complicated network structures and difficulties determining parameters. Small baseline subsets InSAR (SBAS-InSAR) and extreme learning machine (ELM) dynamic prediction were combined for corresponding experimental studies to address these problems. On the basis of SBAS-InSAR, surface subsidence monitoring data in mining areas in Pingdingshan City, China, were collected, and a comparative analysis of D-InSAR monitoring data was performed, which verified the validity of SBAS-InSAR monitoring. On the basis of SBAS-InSAR data, a prediction model was built by ELM. The model results were compared with the prediction results of back propagation (BP) neural network and support vector machine (SVM) through root mean square error (RMSE) and mean relative error (MRE). Results demonstrate that the surface subsidence prediction of SBAS-InSAR in the monitoring mining area can reach millimeter accuracy. The MRE values of ELM, BP, and SVM prediction are maintained within 2%, 5%, and 8%, and the RMSE values are less than 3 mm, 7 mm, and 10 mm, respectively, thereby indicating that ELM prediction has high accuracy and reliability. This study provides an important evidence for safe production and scientific disaster prevention and reduction in mining areas.

Vibration Analysis and Electrical Contact Resistance Assessment for Automotive Relays 汽车继电器的振动分析和电气接触电阻评估

Automotive relays are used in vehicles, subject to various mechanical vibration levels during regular operation. Vibration analysis helps ensure that the relay can withstand these vibrations without malfunctioning. It is essential for the relay's durability and long-term dependability. In this work, vibration analysis is carried out for the relay using an electrodynamic shaker, and the electrical contact resistance (ECR) is obtained. Relays used in vehicles undergo vibration because of the environmental and on-road conditions. Hence, vibration analysis is mandatory for automotive relays. ECR is obtained under DC and AC static environments with a frequency of 10 Hz to 70 Hz. Vibration analysis is carried out using an electrodynamic shaker experimental setup. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using COMSOL Multiphysics is carried out to obtain the electrical and mechanical parameters of relay electrical contact. The highest current density occurs at the contact surface edges that have been visualized. Vibration analysis examines the dynamic behavior of electrical contacts in relays. This study also delves into prescribed displacement, Von Mises stress, and total displacement performance under dynamic conditions.

A Field Study of an Extinguishing Material for use in Forest and Wildland-Urban Interface Fires 用于森林和荒地-城市交界处火灾的灭火材料的实地研究

The fire extinguishing performance, in a simulation with field experiment of wildland fire, of liquid BONPET and pure water was studied. The results show that 6% BONPET liquid has better performance than pure water. The fire extinguishing simulation shows that the extinguishing performance of liquid BONPET 6% reduces the temperature at the burning area more quickly, showing a better cooling effect than water. Furthermore, shows that achieved 80% water saving and 60% faster extinguishing with the use of 6% BONPET liquid. Moreover, it has been observed that the utilization of BONPET liquid for fire suppression leads to reduced collateral damage. This is attributed to the unique properties of BONPET liquid, as its non-decomposed components persist on the surface following extinguishment. These residual components possess the capability to disintegrate and facilitate surface cooling in the event of a minor temperature rise.

In present days, wireless sensor network (WSN) plays an important role in the domain of networks because of its vast applications in various fields. Sensor nodes (SNs) or nodes which are infinitesimally small in sizes are involved in the functioning of WSN for observing and monitoring the environmental phenomena by deploying these nodes in the region of interest. These tiny nodes are energy constrained and also have limited resources. Hence, various cluster-based routing techniques have been developed to optimise the energy utilisation of sensor nodes for extending network lifespan. LEACH is one of the most eminent cluster-based protocols where many derivative protocols have been proposed and still huge efforts are being contributed by many researchers to propose new algorithms based on the parent LEACH protocol. In this paper we represent a survey on LEACH based protocols related with the various modified techniques of cluster head selection. In cluster-based LEACH protocol cluster heads spend much more energy than that of energy by other nodes in the cluster. Therefore, proper selection of cluster heads is necessary in order to optimise the energy efficiency of a network. This paper reviews mainly the various modified election probability of cluster head selection and threshold condition based on LEACH protocol to provide a brief idea of these improvement techniques to the readers.
