Time reversal beamforming in MISO-UWB channels MISO-UWB信道中的时间反转波束形成

Multiple-Input Single-Output (MISO) Ultra Wide Band (UWB) communications over a multipath channel is investigated. After introducing a tractable discrete-time multipath MISO channel model accounting for correlation between multiple channels, analytical results for single-user transmissions are drawn in the following two cases: no precoding at transmitter with All-Rake receiver vs. time reversal (TR) at transmitter with One-finger Rake receiver. Channel state information at both transmitter (CSIT) and receiver (CSIR) is assumed. Optimality of TR conditioned on One-finger Rake receiver structure is proved. Robustness brought by TR combined with One-finger Rake with respect to lack of correlation between channels vs. no precoding is shown. Simulations with realistic reference channels show that combining time reversal with multiple transmit antennas amplifies the performance improvement due to each technique when used alone.

A study on cooperative detection scheme based on combination for cognitive radio systems 基于组合的认知无线电系统协同检测方案研究

In this paper, we propose a new cooperative detection scheme which provides an individual detection for each secondary node unlike the conventional one gives a common decision in the secondary network. The common decision by the conventional scheme may result in degraded frequency efficiency because some secondary nodes can transmit the signal without interference to the primary system even if the decision denies the transmission by the nodes. Thus, the decision is correct and is incorrect for some nodes. At each secondary node, we give tentative decisions by combining observed signals and provide a final decision by combining the tentative decisions based on a logical fusion method. The proposed method is simple and independence of parameters. By computer simulations, we evaluate detection performances of the proposed method and show that the proposed method outperforms the conventional one in terms of detection error probabilities.

Performance of joint channel and physical network coding based on Alamouti STBC 基于Alamouti STBC的联合信道和物理网络编码性能

This work considers the protograph-coded physical network coding (PNC) based on Alamouti space-time block coding (STBC) over Nakagami-fading two-way relay channels, in which both the two sources and relay possess two antennas. We first propose a novel precoding scheme at the two sources so as to implement the iterative decoder efficiently at the relay. We further address a simplified updating rule of the log-likelihood-ratio (LLR) in such a decoder. Based on the simplified LLR-updating rule and Gaussian approximation, we analyze the theoretical biterror-rate (BER) of the system, which is shown to be consistent with the decoding thresholds and simulated results. Moreover, the theoretical analysis has lower computational complexity than the protograph extrinsic information transfer (PEXIT) algorithm. Consequently, the analysis not only provides a simple way to evaluate the error performance but also facilitates the design of the joint channel-and-PNC (JCNC) in wireless communication scenarios.

An experimental study of UWB device-free person detection and ranging 超宽带无设备人员检测与测距的实验研究

Passive person detection and localization is an emerging area in UWB localization systems, whereby people are not required to carry any UWB ranging device. Based on experimental data, we propose a novel method to detect static persons in the absence of template waveforms, and to compute distances to these persons. Our method makes very little assumptions on the environment and can achieve ranging performances on the order of 50 cm, using off-the-shelf UWB devices.
