Study on canceling intersymbol interference of inverse-GPS 逆gps码间干扰消除方法研究

In inverse-GPS (Global Positioning System), intersymbol interference greatly influences the positioning error. The paper deals with a new interference canceller by means of which the error is reduced. The interference canceller which we propose is composed of a DLL (delay locked loop) and adaptive filter. Only a primary phase of a replica signal is estimated in DLL. Then, the exact wave is generated with the adaptive filter. The intersymbol interference error, which is caused and increased by the number of users, is decreased by the interference canceller which is the combined DLL and adaptive filter.

Real-coded genetic algorithm in superquadric fitting 超二次拟合中的实编码遗传算法

Superquadric parameter extraction is essential for superquadric-based reconstruction from 2D images and 3D data, but most of the search algorithms for superquadric parameter extraction are suboptimal and they are susceptible to being trapped into local optima. In this paper, we propose a search based on a real-coded genetic algorithm (RCGA) for parameter extraction, which applies the genetic algorithm to superquadric-based fitting computation. Numerical fitting experiments for comparison of GA parameters and genetic operators are carried out. Results obtained show the efficiency, robustness and accuracy of the RCGA-based search algorithm, which not only solves the problem of being trapped into local optima, but also performs quickly and reliably for superquadric fitting.

Doppler compensation for passive coherent location 无源相干定位的多普勒补偿

For target movement without velocity information in a passive coherent location system, the unknown Doppler shift between the direct signal and the target echo results in a decrease of the highest peak output value and the occurrence of some false peaks. Several Doppler compensation methods are compared in terms of the Doppler decorrelation loss factor. The Doppler decorrelation loss from the different inherent correlation times of signals and the different overlap times in the cross-correlator is analyzed. Simultaneously, the rationality of two stage processing is explained. In order to reduce the computational burden much more, an FFT pruning algorithm is introduced into segment Doppler compensation. The results of simulations are in close agreement with theory predictions.

Blind FIR equalisation for high-order QAM signalling 高阶QAM信号的盲FIR均衡

We compare some blind finite-impulse-response (FIR) equalisation schemes for high-order quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) signalling. The popular constant modulus algorithm (CMA) is used as a benchmark in an investigation of two blind FIR equalisers, namely, a bootstrap maximum a posteriori probability (MAP) equaliser and a recently introduced concurrent CMA and decision directed (DD) equaliser (CMA+DD). Both equalisers are known to outperform the CMA considerably at costs of a small increase in computational complexity. Our study indicates that the bootstrap MAP equaliser has a faster convergence rate than the concurrent CMA+DD equaliser.

A wavelet-based multisensor image registration algorithm 一种基于小波的多传感器图像配准算法

Multisensor images have different gray level characteristics while contours representing region boundaries are preserved in most cases. A contour-based registration algorithm which uses region boundaries and other well-defined edges as matching primitives is presented. This algorithm integrates the invariant moments with the orientation function of the contours to establish the correspondences of the contours in the two images, e.g. CCD and infrared (IR). The improved wavelet-based fuzzy contour extraction is developed. For the feature matching, an orientation function matching is proposed and integrated to the invariant moments to correspond the extracted contours. The contours with at least two salient points and others with only one salient point are matched separately. The correspondence salient points are used as control-point pairs, and the transformation parameters are estimated based on them. This approach implements automatically and works well for the image pairs in which contour information is well preserved. Experimental results for the CCD and IR images are used to test and verify the theory and algorithm presented in this in this paper.

Multiply and multiply-accumulate (MAC) instructions (see ARM DDI0l00E, ARM Architecture Reference Manual) are fundamental instructions in DSP applications. In an embedded digital signal processing (DSP) core and high-performance enhanced DSP instruction processor core, the implementation of high-performance multiply and MAC instructions is very important. An algorithm of 32/spl times/32 multiply and MAC instructions' VLSI implementation with 32/spl times/8 multiplier-accumulator in DSP applications is presented. The 32/spl times/32 multiplication is achieved by 4 times 32/spl times/8 multiplication. The result of one 32/spl times/8 multiplication serves as a partial product of the next 32/spl times/8 operation; when the result of four such multiplications is accumulated, we get the result of 32/spl times/32. The 32/spl times/8 multiplication is only implemented by the hardware Booth multiplier. The algorithm of multiply and MAC instructions' implementation is the better trade-off between serial multiplier and parallel multiplier.

Video segmentation based-on fuzzy clustering and multi-features 基于模糊聚类和多特征的视频分割

In this paper, we present a video segmentation algorithm for object-based coding based on fuzzy clustering using multi-features. Three features (color, motion and position) are chosen to consist of feature space, as inputs to the fuzzy clustering algorithm. A new block matching motion estimation algorithm is introduced and the value of DFD (displace frame difference) is used to measure the reliability of different features. At the same time, the distance metric and objective function of the fuzzy clustering algorithm are modified to improve the spatial cohesion of the segmentation results. Simulation results demonstrate the performance of the algorithm.

Delay compensation of stretching signal in OTHR OTHR中拉伸信号的延迟补偿

In the stretch processing system of linear FM (chirp modulation), the time delay of the return is converted into frequency. The frequency and time delay are proportional to the target range. Each intermediate frequency (IF) pulse occupies a different time interval, indicating the variation in time delay as a function of range. It results in a high sidelobe when proceeding with a uniform weight in the whole time width. The paper describes the delay compensation technology by a subband filter group which can reduce the sidelobe level of the weighted signal greatly after the synthesis of multiple channels.

The frequency and time delay are proportional to the target range. Each intermediate frequency (IF) pulse occupies a different time interval, indicating the variation in time delay as a function of range. It results in a high sidelobe when proceeding with a uniform weight in the whole time width. Array processing without any space diversity: application in the HF band (3-30 MHz) 无空间分集的阵列处理:在HF频段(3- 30mhz)的应用

The paper presents an operational system of digital transmission within the HF frequency range, aiming at a significant increase of the data transfer rate compared with the current standard. Therefore, an array processing method performs with a set of four collocated sensors, the spatial responses of which are different one from each other. This diversity induces a well-conditioned problem of spatio-temporal equalization which tends to reduce the effect of multipath interference. The implemented method resorts to a classical LMS algorithm involving training sequences. Several waveforms have been tested and the experimental results reach the expected goal as the data transfer rate increases up to 15 kbits/s in a bandwidth of 3 kHz.
针对数据传输速率较现行标准有较大提高的问题,提出了一种高频范围内的数字传输操作系统。因此,采用一组4个空间响应不同的传感器进行阵列处理。这种多样性导致了一个条件良好的时空均衡问题,这往往会减少多径干扰的影响。实现的方法采用经典的LMS算法,包括训练序列。对几种波形进行了测试,实验结果达到了预期目标,在3khz的带宽下,数据传输率提高到15kbits /s。
