Intelligent Power Management Control System Modelling for Battery/Supercapacitor Electric Vehicles Using MBSE and SysML 基于MBSE和SysML的电池/超级电容器电动汽车智能电源管理控制系统建模

The integration of hybrid energy storage systems (HESS) for Electric Vehicles (EVs) are a promising solution for improving energy efficiency, reliability and battery lifetime of BEV. However, developing a power management control system is needed for sharing the electric power demand between the onboarded sources considering battery lifetime enhancing, driving range increase, and powertrain efficiency while fulfilling the electric power demand. To reduce the risk associated with the development time and cost, the model-based system engineering (MBSE) approach and system modeling language (SysML) are the key to addressing this challenge. This paper aims to present MBSE approach with SysML, which will give guidelines to develop an optimal design for an intelligent power management strategy for battery and supercapacitor EVs while using different diagrams such as: Requirement Diagram (RD), Block Definition Diagram (BDD), Internal Block Diagram (IBD),State Machine Diagram (SMD) and PFMS (Problem, Finality, Missions, System) diagram.

Robust Assessment of Dysarthrophonic Voice with RASTA-PLP Features: A Nonlinear Spectral Measures 用RASTA-PLP特征对关节发声障碍语音的鲁棒性评估:一种非线性频谱测量

This paper presents an artificial intelligence based speech signal processing technique to identify dysarthrophonic voice with relative spectral-perceptual linear prediction (RASTA-PLP) features. Dysarthria is a neural motor speech disorder caused by muscular weakness. Voice analysis of dysarthrophonic patients is challenging as this disease has multidimensional effects on the human voice generation system. Conventional spectral analysis is unable to accurately characterize the pathology associated with nonlinear dynamicity of human voice. This work investigates the suitability of RASTA-PLP features excerpted from speech signals to identify dysarthrophonic patients. The speech samples of healthy and dysarthrophonic patients are collected from the Saarbrücken Voice Database (SVD). Several machine learning and Artificial neural network (ANN) based algorithms are developed to evaluate the classification performance of the proposed system. The designed system can achieve excellent performance in terms of accuracy (100%) considering female and male subjects separately.

Proof of Concept of a Caterpillar-type Robot Explorer for Seismic Events in Areas of the Peruvian Fire Belt 秘鲁火带地区地震事件的毛毛虫型机器人探索者的概念证明

Robotic technology has evolved rapidly over the last few decades and robots are essentially making a huge impact in revolutionizing soil exploration. The objective of the study was to validate the proof of concept of a crawler-type robot explorer by validating the control and distribution of variables. The research was developed through a methodology based on the VDI2206 standard. The study presented the classification of explorer robots according to their type of translation and application. In addition, I present the general design showing the structure of the robot explorer, processing unit and subsystems (safety, geolocation, communication, supply, data acquisition and motion). On the other hand, the specific design presented the 3D modeling in inventor software, description of parts and isometric views. The results obtained at the conclusion of the research were the validation of the control system and distribution of variables for the testing of a caterpillar type robot explorer. The main peculiarity of the crawler robot is its stability and hermeticity according to IP54 standard, since it was designed to move in places that are difficult to access due to earthquakes. It also presents characteristics such as easy portability, high resistance, easy handling, fluid image transfer.

Numerical Simulation and Experimental Study on Focusing of Magnetostrictive Guided Wave Phased Array in Pipeline 磁致伸缩导波相控阵在管道中聚焦的数值模拟与实验研究

Based on the principle of ultrasonic phased array, the magnetostrictive phased array ultrasonic guided wave technology is established by using single channel mode ultrasonic guided wave technology. With the help of multi-frequency, multi-modal and multi-mode methods, the defect can be comprehensively located and judged, and the detection sensitivity of defect and damage can be improved. The detection principle of ultrasonic guided wave in magnetostrictive phased array is studied, and the delay overlay and focus model of phased array is established.. Algorithm model for calculating the circumferential and axial direction of circular phased array ultrasonic guided wave is established by numerical simulation. The focusing effect and resolution of defects with different axial distances and different circumferential angles were simulated by using matlab and abaqus finite element methods, and the focusing experiments with different axial distances and different circumferential angles were carried out. The feasibility of simulating the focusing effect and the accuracy of locating the defect are verified. Comparing the magnetostrictive phased array guided wave technology with mode single channel guided wave technology, it can be seen that the energy amplitude of the defect of magnetostrictive phased array guided wave technology is increased about two times, and the sensitivity of defect detection is improved.

Cutting Force Similarity Calculation in Milling Process Using Siamese LSTM Structure 基于连体LSTM结构的铣削过程切削力相似性计算

Cutting force is a key factor in machining processes. Cutting force similarity is required for several important issues, namely: stability evaluation, process control, and process parameter setting. This study employed a long short-term memory (LSTM) with Siamese architecture to measure the similarity of the cutting forces in a milling process. The Siamese LSTM was trained with time series data of the vertical cutting force collected from a cutting tool during the milling process to calculate the similarity. For evaluation, dynamic time warping (DTW), a common approach used to calculate the similarity of time series data, was employed for comparison with the Siamese LSTM. Experimental results showed that the proposed Siamese LSTM outperformed the conventional DTW-based similarity calculation.

Underwater Target Motion Analysis with Dynamic Sensor Selection in Multi-Sensor Environment 多传感器环境下水下目标运动分析与动态传感器选择

The objective of our work is to track an underwater target moving in 3D space using a multi-sensor network of passive sonobuoys spread over the sea surface. All the buoys are equipped with passive SONAR that measures the bearing and elevation angles of the target. The tracker is located remotely from the sensors, and the measurements from the sonobuoys are sent to a common central tracker for further processing. But due to some physical constraints, it is not always possible to send the data from all the sensors together. To select a set of sensors, we have designed a cost function by utilizing the Fisher information matrix (FIM) of the estimated target states. The optimum solution for this cost function gives the desired sensor subset. The measurements obtained from these selected sensors are used to perform the target state estimation using various non-linear estimators. The performances of these estimators are compared in terms of root mean square (RMSE) error of target states and percentage track divergence.

Highly Sensitive MIM-Based Semi-circular Refractive Index Sensor for Detection of Glucose Concentration 用于葡萄糖浓度检测的高灵敏度mim型半圆折射率传感器

This article presents and numerically investigates a semi-circular, highly sensitive refractive index sensor using a Metal-Insulator-Metal (MIM) waveguide structure comprising a baffle. Specifically designed cavities hold the material under sensing (MUS), and silver is utilized to fill the surrounding area. The Finite Element Method (FEM) is used to simulate the intended model, which exhibits the linear relationship between the refractive index and the corresponding shift of the resonant wavelength. The sensor can identify unknown materials and glucose concentration by utilizing this linearity of peak changes. By tuning the structural parameters to an optimized value, a maximum sensitivity of 4859 nm/RIU is achieved for the refractive index range of 1.5 to 1.6. Rapid Trials-and-Errors Approach Based on Time-domain EMI Testing–a New Way to Speed up Product EMC Compliance 基于时域EMI测试的快速试错法——一种加快产品EMC符合性的新方法

Product EMC compliance processing is expensive and time-consuming. Rapid trials-and-errors approach is proposed in this paper to reduce the costs and shorten the time achieving product EMC compliance. The time-domain EMI testing technique can meet the fast-testing requirements of the approach, and a time-domain EMI testing system developed based on a general-purpose oscilloscope and Cloud Computing is presented to further meet the low-cost testing needs of the approach. The application case shows that by applying the proposed low-cost and fast-EMI-test system, engineers in manufacturing companies can reduce the EMI of EUT through frequent and rapid trials-and-errors in short time and low cost without EMC expertise.

Capacitor Allocation Optimization for Improved Distribution Network Performance 提高配电网性能的电容器配置优化

One of the most affordable methods for improving the performance of radial distribution networks is through the deployment of capacitors. However, the optimal allocation of capacitors is a serious issue that must be resolved. This paper proposed a novel dingo optimization algorithm (DOA) to tackle the problem of the allocation of capacitors. A single objective function, subjected to several equality and inequality constraints, was formulated and solved using the proposed DOA for capacitor allocation. The performance of the network was assessed using voltage profile, real power, and reactive power losses as the performance metrics. The results indicated a significant improvement in the performance of the network as real power as well as reactive power losses were greatly reduced by 34.44 and 35.20%, respectively, and the overall network voltage profile was enhanced. Thus, DOA proved effective in the allocation of capacitors in radial distribution networks.

Recent Advances in Assistive Systems for Blind and Visually Impaired Persons: A Survey 盲人和视障人士辅助系统的最新进展:一项调查

The tendency to develop tools or assistive systems for blind or visually impaired people, in many ways and in different forms, is an essential solution to help them in their daily lives. They need systems that help them to be aware of their surrounding environment, in addition to help them to move on their own without the need for an accompanying person all the time. In this review, we present the auxiliary systems that have been developed in the recent period, including what have been used of physical devices, modern technologies and algorithms, in addition to software and libraries. Also, we discuss and analyze those systems in a simplified and easy way to find out what has been reached, and to serve as an aid to other researchers to know the systems that have recently appeared and work on developing them or creating other new systems in different ways to help the blind or visually impaired people.
