Augmented Shadow Media : Study for Interactive Media for Augmenting in Properties of Shadow as Media Using Kage User Interface 增强阴影媒介:利用Kage用户界面增强阴影媒介属性的互动媒介研究

We propose the“Augmented Shadow Media” for augmentation of the real shadow used as a medium. Shadow pictures are used as a medium to convey contents by changing the shape and animating of real shadows. In this research, we focus on the properties of shadow as a medium and we propose the application of the Kage (shadow) user interface (KUI) that has been proposed. In this paper, we propose an interaction technique that enables 3D space movement of entities by manipulating the real shadow combining multiple gesture operations. Augmented Shadow Media enable editing of shadow position and shapes by manipulating the real shadow and it saves and plays shadow animation.
