Solving nonlinear partial differential equations using a novel Cham method 用一种新的Cham方法求解非线性偏微分方程

Nonlinear partial differential equations (NLPDEs) have been of great interest in recent years due to their numerous applications. While there are several methods for finding exact solutions to various NLPDEs, more solutions are still required. This paper first proposes the Cham method, a new method for solving NLPDEs that can generate eight families of solutions. The method is then successfully employed to solve the (2+1)-dimensional Bogoyavlenskii's breaking soliton equations. The dynamic behaviour of these equations and the bifurcation of traveling waves are also discussed. Finally, we graphically depict some solutions corresponding to some discovered solutions with different coefficient values. The Cham method is general, effective, and adaptable to many NLPDEs.

PEGylation of human interferon-α2b with modified amino acids increases circulation half-life and antiproliferative activity 修饰氨基酸的人干扰素-α2b聚乙二醇化增加循环半衰期和抗增殖活性

Interferon-α2b (IFN-α2b) is used as a therapeutic agent against various types of cancer. In the current research, modified forms of human INF-α2b were produced to investigate the effect of amino acid substitutions on binding to the interferon receptor and antiproliferative activity. The resulting modified human IFN-α2b proteins were PEGylated to increase their in vivo circulation half-life. N-terminal PEGylation was performed using mPEG-propionaldehyde succinate (20 and 40 kDa). As a result of these modifications, IFN-α2b with modification R(23)H achieved IC50 at 0.062 ng as compared to wild type IFN-α2b (0.125 ng). PEGylation of IFN-α2b and its modified forms resulted in an increase in hydrodynamic volume and serum retention time (up to 62 h) compared to wild type IFN-α2b (4 h). However, the antiproliferative activities of PEGylated IFN against HepG2 cell line were decreased (up to 4.7%) with an increase in PEGylated IFN-α2b size as compared to the wild type.

Investigation on the stability of the Enol Tautomer of Favipiravir and its derivatives by DFT, QTAIM, NBO, NLO and 1 H-NMR 用DFT、QTAIM、NBO、NLO和1h - nmr研究Favipiravir及其衍生物烯醇互变异构体的稳定性

Relative stability energies of enol and keto forms of Favipiravir drug (6-fluoro-3-hydroxy-2-pyrazine carboxamide) and its twelve derivatives were theoretically envisaged using the B3LYP/6-311 + G(3df,2p)//B3LYP/6-311 + G(d,p) level of theory. Influence of the nature of the substituted groups on the geometric structures, IMHB, vibrational frequencies, dipole moments, and global reactivity descriptors was systematically studied. The enol form was found to be more stable than the keto form, regardless of the nature of the substituted group, by an average of 12.5 and 5.4 kcal/mol in the gas phase and in the aqueous solution, respectively. The role of the IMHB strength in the stability of the enol form compared with the keto form was investigated in terms of QTAIM and NBO analysis and 1H NMR chemical shifts. The NLO properties at CAM-B3LYP with 6-311 + G(d,p) basis set of the two forms and their derivatives were also used to explain the relative stability.

Background: As a repercussion of oxidative stress, reactive oxygen species augment the biochemical reaction of amino and carbohydrate groups of proteins, thus forming oxidative products known as Advanced Glycation End-products (AGEs), associated with acute coronary syndrome (ACS). Together, this milieu provokes oxidative stress and promotes the development of ACS.

Ameliorative impacts of Rhodiola rosea against hepatic toxicity induced by monosodium glutamate: role of inflammation-, oxidative-stress-, and apoptosis-associated markers 红景天对味精引起的肝毒性的改善作用:炎症、氧化应激和细胞凋亡相关标志物的作用

Current study examined the protective impact of Rhodiola rosea (R. rosea) extract on hepatic toxicity markers caused by MSG. MSG induced significant increases in hepatic stress biomarkers. There were significant declines in GSH, catalase and SOD levels, which were accompanied by substantial elevations in IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α. There was hepatic cellular damage, and upregulation of caspase-3 and a decrease in Bcl-2 expression. The hepatotoxic impacts of MSG were normalized by Rhodiola supplementation. R. rosea downregulated caspase-3 and upregulated HO-1 and Nrf2 mRNA expression. R. rosea regulated the immunoreactivity of COX-2, TGF-β1, and NFkB genes associated with hepatic toxicity. R. rosea extract normalized histopathological changes induced by MSG and restored hepatic architecture. R. rosea extract exhibited anti-apoptotic, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. In conclusion, R. rosea extract is a promising medication against hepatic toxicity induced by MSG, which works by regulating the different signaling pathways of inflammation-, oxidative-stress-, and apoptosis-associated markers.

Antimony selenide thin films prepared by thermal evaporation of antimony and selenium elemental sources 硒和锑元素源热蒸发制备硒化锑薄膜

Antimony selenide thin films of 140–190 nm in thickness, with different compositions, were prepared at room temperature by using the dual-thermal evaporation technique. The compositional, structural, morphological and optical studies were performed in the as-deposited state and after annealing at 250°C for an hour, using many analytical techniques. The carrier-type, resistivity, carrier concentration and mobility of the annealed films were determined. The obtained thin films, regardless of their composition, exhibited a smooth surface with a high absorption coefficient of greater than 105 cm−1. The optical band gap of the near-stoichiometric film was 1.56 eV, which decreased to 1.32 eV after annealing. However, higher values were determined with increasing Se elements in the films, but these values did not exceed 1.77 eV. This study shows that antimony selenide thin films can be obtained at room temperature using a thermal evaporation technique, and the properties of the films can be improved with annealing.

Unsteady Casson fluid flow on MHD with an internal heat source 带内热源MHD上非定常卡森流体的流动

The present paper investigates the heat transfer features of a viscous fluid in an unsteady incompressible Casson fluid flow through a porous medium with an internal heat source under the influence of a magnetic field. A Casson fluid passes through the given porous medium using Darcy model. The study involves simulating the flow using mathematical models based on conservation laws and similarity transformations. The resulting highly nonlinear coupled ordinary differential equations are solved using the Bernoulli wavelet numerical approach. The study utilizes graphical tools to illustrate the flow behaviour under different physical factors, including the effect of the internal heat source. The normalization of the flow behaviour by the magnetic field suggests that it could potentially be used to control various flows. The study finds that various physical parameters which affects the velocity and temperature profiles of the fluid.

Kink, periodic and solitary solutions for coupled Benjamin–Bona–Mahony–KdV system 耦合Benjamin-Bona-Mahony-KdV系统的扭解、周期解和孤立解

In this paper, exp -expansion method, modified extended tanh-function method and Kudryashov method are used to investigate the exact solutions of the coupled Benjamin–Bona–Mahony–KdV (BBM-KdV) system. By the travelling wave transformation, the coupled BBM-KdV system is reduced to ordinary differential equations. Solving the nonlinear ordinary differential equations, kink, periodic and solitary solutions of the system are obtained. To further understand the natures of the solutions more intuitively, the dynamical behaviours of the solutions are given. The physical structures of the solutions are analysed in combination with 2D and 3D plots. These results enrich the available types of travelling wave solutions for the BBM-KdV model and are also useful for wave studies in complex engineering regions near the coast. It also proves the correctness and validity of our method.

Production and characterization of a highly stable laccase from extreme thermophile Geobacillus stearothermophilus MB600 isolated from hot spring of Gilgit Balitistan (Pakistan) 巴基斯坦吉尔吉特温泉中嗜热嗜热地杆菌MB600高稳定性漆酶的制备与鉴定

Extracellular thermophilic multicopper oxidase i.e. laccase was purified, identified and characterized from Geobacillus stearothermophilus MB600. Fast protein liquid chromatography (FPLC) of lacasse showed a prominent peak at 610 nm. Sodium dodecyl-sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) for laccase presented a molecular weight of 59.13 kDa. Analysis via Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization Time-of-Flight (MALDI-TOF) confirmed the presence of laccase similar to in Geobacillus thermoleovorans B23 and Geobacillus sp. LEMMY01. Laccase showed Km 0.532 mM for guaiacol and 0.307 mM for ABTS (2,2′-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid)). Its optimum activity was witnessed at 90°C, at pH 5.0. Laccase catalytic activity was completely inhibited by sodium dodecyl-sulfate (SDS), sodium azide (NaN3), and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA). Among the metal salts against Cu, Ca, Cd, and Li enhanced while Mg inhibited the enzyme activity. It was stable against Cl, I and solvents (Ethanol > Methanol > Dimethyl sulfoxide > Acetonitrile). Thermophilic laccase effectively degraded 93% of Remazol brilliant blue R, 92% Bisphenol A diglycidyle ether without mediator.

Seeing green: phototactic responses for management of Rove beetle Paederus fuscipes 看到绿色:对花叶甲虫管理的光致反应

Paederus fuscipes Curtis (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae) is a medical pest due to its attraction to bright light sources from human residential premises. This study aims to investigate the phototactic response on light wavelengths and colour preferences by P. fuscipes. Paedarus fuscipes showed positive responses to all types of light sources (fluorescent, LED, and incandescent) presented in the light and dark choice test, which indicates their attractiveness towards light presented in human habitation. However, most beetles showed a higher preference towards fluorescent and cool white LED. Paedarus fuscipes showed consistent preferences for white, blue and green, with the exception of red. Remarkably, green light elicited the strongest positive phototactic response compared to other colours. Overall, our results showed that P. fuscipes beetles prefer the range of 550 nm wavelength. Warm light colours such as yellow (warm white LED) with red illumination can be recommended to avoid infestation and in innovative management of Paedarus.
