The guided inquiry method of teaching promotes stu-dents' active participation in the learning process. It increases students' ability to analyze, synthesize, evaluate, and relate the intended learning concepts to multiple disciplines and everyday life, thereby making the material more relevant to students. In this paper, we introduce the guided inquiry method in teaching mathematical concepts. This method is used here to teach the golden ratio and the golden rectangle concepts.
