The method of calculation of a gain measurement error for antenna placed in a Fresnel zone applies to a case of no uniformly exited antennas. The question, as an arrangement in a Fresnel zone has an effect at a measurement of antenna pattern, is considered. Numerical results are given.

For Uda-Yagi type antenna the system of integral equations, where the unknown functions are the axial currents arising at antenna dipoles, is received in strict mathematical approach. The method of delta-like generalized function is used, and this system reduces to the system of functional (summatory) equations relative to Fourierpsilas coefficients of the axial currents. The solution of this system makes possible to determine the values of given currents and, based on it, to calculate the radiation characteristic of the antenna For the definite situations the numerous results are presented.

The mathematical description of the systems consisting of a quadrature microwave sensor (MS) of homodyne configuration, antenna and target is performed based on the well-known energy relation between the signal power and the distance under free-space conditions. The original approach to the homodyne MS operation was developed for the case of RF oscillator frequency, f variations with discrete steps, Deltafn. A number of important advantages of the proposed MS concept are described.

In a collaborative effort with ViaSat, Eutelsat is taking a step towards transforming the satellite broadband market in Europe and the Mediterranean Basin. Today, Toowaytrade can already significantly expand the quality, capability, and availability of high-speed broadband satellite services for consumers and enterprises. The launch in 2010 of KA- SAT, that also covers and could serve the entire territory of Georgia will mark a further major leap forward in the provisioning of advanced broadband services via satellite to users beyond terrestrial networks who only have the prospect of dial-up to look forward to in order to benefit from the social and commercial advantages of the digital environment.

Based on modified mirror image method, an equivalent model of layered glass antenna structure is suggested and validated by comparison with traditional Greenpsilas function Sommerfeld solution. The derived approximate Greenpsilas function is applied to consider finite-sized glass antennas integrated into a full car model. The obtained hybrid MoM scheme is validated by comparison with measurements on simplified finite-sized model. Finally, this scheme will be applied for prediction of EMC characteristics of full car model with incorporated glass antenna.

Acoustic imaging exhibits inherent geometric distortions due to variations in sound speed within the body. Additional distortions are missing surfaces, speckle noise, acoustic shadows and resolution inconsistency. These artifacts depend on the positioning of the transducer relative to the scanned organs, and considerably degrade the images obtained. We propose an efficient algorithm that combines ultrasound images taken from different angles using compounding to obtain a quality-enhanced image. The algorithm is iterative. In each step the images are divided into blocks and a matching procedure is performed. The gray level information is translated according to the imaging constraints, resulting in warped acoustic images that function as the input signal to the following iteration. The algorithm was implemented successfully and the results are presented and discussed.

The problem of single dielectric slab parameters estimation on the basis of reflectometry data taken in microwave band is considered using objective function minimization approach. The ldquoquasidurationldquo-based objective function formed from frequency reflection coefficient samples is shown to be more appropriate in comparison with standard robust objective function. The method of estimation was tested on numerically synthesized reflection-coefficient data using genetic algorithm for global minimum searching.

Electromagnetic methods, which are based on determination of the characteristics of the electromagnetic fields radiated by inspected objects when alternating electrical currents flow in them, are widely used in engineering practice.
电磁法在工程实践中得到了广泛的应用,它是基于测定被测物体在交流电流作用下所辐射的电磁场的特性。
