With the application of theoretical and numerical techniques, generation of nonlinear second harmonics for several interacting normal elastic waves with different frequencies or wave numbers of one or different modes dispersion spectrum anisotropic crystal layer with flexible inextensible coatings on the boundary surfaces is studied.

Numerical simulation of the diffraction problem on a Kerr-type nonlinear layer 克尔型非线性层衍射问题的数值模拟

The diffraction of a plane wave of small intensity by a transversely inhomogeneous isotropic nonmagnetic linearly polarized dielectric layer filled with a Kerr-type nonlinear medium is considered. The diffraction problem is reduced to a boundary value problem for a semi linear second-order ordinary differential equation with a cubic nonlinearity on the excitation frequency of the nonlinear structure. Within the framework of weak solutions, existence and uniqueness are proved. A numerical solution technique by the finite element method is proposed and investigated.

Role of edge illumination in hemielliptic dielectric lens antenna performance 边缘照明对半椭圆介质透镜天线性能的影响

We study, in accurate manner, the beam collimation ability of a small extended hemielliptic dielectric lens antenna (DLA) fed by an aperture source. This analysis accounts for finite size of the lens and directive nature of the primary feed. Off the internal resonances, which spoil the radiation characteristics of DLAs made of dense materials, the lens edge illumination is found to be of primary importance.

Asymptotic theory of local maximum of back scattering from thin conducting polygon with large dimensions 大尺寸薄导电多边形背散射局部最大值的渐近理论

Let plane electromagnetic wave is incident on thin conductive polygon with large, in compare with wavelength, dimensions. The problem is to determine the back scattering from this polygon. A possible asymptotic solution is suggested by the problem geometry - in the context of geometry diffraction theory (GDT). A field scattered by polygon may be considered as a superposition of ray fields of three types. First, in accordance with geometry optics principle, the incidence ray is reflected from plane surface of polygon. Second, diffraction rays arise from rectilinear edges of polygon. Both types of the rays are well known. Finally, it should be added the rays from the tops of polygon.

Basic ideas for creating wave-focusing materials by injecting small particles in a given material are described. The number of small particles to be injected around any point is calculated. Inverse scattering problem with fixed wavenumber and fixed incident direction of the plane acoustic wave is formulated and solved.

The scattering of the axial-symmetric TM-wave by the finite cone is investigated using the ldquosemi-inversionrdquo method. The currents produced on the conical surface as well as the physical effects connected to this phenomena are considered. The scattering characteristics of finite and semi-infinite cones are compared.
