The PBL model used by the teacher in learning mathematics in SMP N 2 Karanganyar is considered unable to solve problems in class. The teacher has involved students in learning, students are required to conduct interviews and observation activities in the field. Teacher expectations with these activities, students can get used to solving math problems in class. But when students are given different problems, students have not been able to make the solution. Flipped Classroom is an alternative learning model that can overcome these problems. This study aims to determine (1) whether students' mathematical problem solving abilities through the flipped classroom model can achieve KKM, (2) students' mathematical problem solving abilities using the flipped classroom model are better than students' mathematical problem solving abilities using the PBL model. This type of research is a quasi-experimental. The instrument used in this study is a test. Analysis of the data in this study using the proportion test and t test. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the problem-solving ability through the flipped classroom model can achieve KKM, (2) the problem-solving ability of students with the flipped classroom model is better than the PBL model.

The research aims to determine the enhancement of students' mathematical thinking skills using the Model Eliciting Activities (MEA) approach and how students' attitudes toward the Model Eliciting Activities (MEA) approach learning. The research method used quasi experiment with research design nonequivalent control group design. This research was conducted in SMP Negeri Cianjur with population in 7 th grade. The sample used class VII-4 as control class and class VII-9 as experiment class. The instrument was essay question to measure mathematical creative thinking ability and a questionnaire of attitude scale as non-test instrument. The results showed that the enhancement of students' mathematical creative thinking ability using the Model Eliciting Activities (MEA) approach was better than students using a scientific approach and most students attitude was positive response toward the Model Eliciting Activities (MEA) approach.

Analysis of student responses in this study aims to determine the quality of Edmodo-based learning media products that have been developed. The results obtained on average show 81% of this indicates a positive response from students. The most prominent of the six indicators used are happy and interesting. The statement of happy indicator that is learning with learning media based on Edmodo make student happy to reach 88%. While the interesting indicator states Edmodo-based learning media is new in the lecture.
