The main objective of this study is to describe the characteristics of Cameroonian entrepreneurs. Using a descriptive research design, the study collected 150 questionnaires through the purposive and referral (snowball) sampling techniques. Descriptive statistics was used to analyse and present collected data. The result of the study reveals that most Cameroonian entrepreneurs are dominantly Optimistic in nature and have a fighting spirit to see that their ventures survive and grow in the midst of the many challenges that surround them such as disturbance from local council agents and taxation agents, high taxes, inflation, the socio-political crisis, unsafety, power outages, lack of subventions, bad roads. They are also hardworking, generous, trustworthy, gentlemanly, sceptical, ambitious, risk bearers, confident, customer service providers, determined, discrete, dynamic, focused, goal getters, innovative, motivated, profit conscious, realistic, self-confident, strategic, time conscious, visionary. It can also be concluded that the majority of entrepreneurs in Cameroon are below forty-two (42) years, they are mostly male, married, have at least a Bachelor degree, schooled in government schools, are not very bold about their political affiliations and are not very inclined to the practice of their traditions.

The Nigerian manufacturing industry significantly influences national economic diversification and growth. However, it faces several challenges, including insufficient infrastructure, talent shortages, and foreign direct investment. The study investigates how KM processes impact innovation in the Nigerian industry. We surveyed 424 manufacturers and found that better KM processes (acquisition, creation, application, and sharing) lead to improved innovation implementation. The results demonstrated that KM processes considerably impacted innovation implementation in the Nigerian manufacturing sector. Knowledge acquisition, creation, application, sharing, and storage all have a favourable effect on innovation implementation ability. The findings emphasise the significance of adequate information flow, investment in research and development, and technological capabilities for promoting innovation. This study shows the link between KM practices and innovation outcomes in the Nigerian industry. This study has implications for improving competitiveness and sustainability. A work environment that prioritizes continuous learning, collaboration, and technology for knowledge management would be beneficial.

The study examined the influence of financial monitoring on the performance of SMEs in Tanzania. The study was guided by resource- based theory. Cross-sectional research design and quantitative research approach were used in the study. Structured questionnaire was used to collect data from a sample of 204 SMEs in Arusha City Council. The regression analysis of data established that, financial monitoring in SMEs results in significant increase in sales revenue, profits, product lines and number of customers. The findings provide an indication that, financial monitoring is critical in ensuring positive performance of small and medium enterprises. This research examines the development of electronic-based business maps in Serang Regency by examining empirically the design of the infrastructure development. The data collection technique used is Library Research on secondary data. Literature study was conducted to obtain secondary data in examining in depth the object of study. Data analysis was carried out using the content analysis approach. The results of the study show that the preparation of business process maps is part of the management arrangement intended to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of clear, effective, efficient and measurable work systems, processes and procedures in each Regional Apparatus. The preparation of business process maps is one of the factors in the successful implementation of bureaucratic reform in regional apparatuses. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the preparation of this map is a reference for regional apparatus to carry out the preparation of business process maps within their respective agencies. Reforms aimed at carrying out systematic and planned changes towards a better government administration order and making the State Civil Apparatus more professional, effective, efficient and accountable in the framework of realizing good governance. Planned and systematic bureaucratic reform to change the structure, system and values in government for the better through the effectiveness and efficiency of the bureaucracy is very dependent on the business processes used by the bureaucracy in producing outputs and outcomes.

This paper examined the courses of unemployment in Nigeria with a view to proffering practical solution to it so as to reduce poverty rate. Secondary data gathered from various sources such as: CBN reports et cetera covering the period between 1970 to 2014 were used. It employed the regression analysis as the analytical method E-views version 9 and found out that a percentage increase in population growth will increase unemployment by 4.94%. Also the study found a positive relationship between government educational expenditure and unemployment rate in Nigeria and lastly, the result showed there is a positive relationship between gross capital formation and unemployment rate in Nigeria. It concluded by recommending that development of entrepreneurial skills and initiatives through entrepreneurship and training should be of paramount importance especially in the higher education sector so as to facilitate the employability and creativity of graduates who will derivatively contribute wealth of the nation not only as job seekers, but also job creators.
