Nowadays, online customer evaluations have developed as an essential source of information for both businesses and consumers, replacing and augmenting previous modes of communication. The goal of this work is to perform a bibliometric analysis to investigate the scientific production surrounding online reviews and the sale of home appliances from 2011 to 2022. We used the Scopus database to acquire primary data and the VOSviewer program to analyze the data and perform the bibliometric analysis to achieve the desired objective. The major findings revealed that the year 2021 delivered the greatest amount of scientific contributions and that the United States of America contributed the greatest number of articles overall. Moreover, for the analyzed period the terms with the highest density present in scientific production are: "online reviews", "quality", "applications", "impact", "reviews", "effects", "consumer", "factors", and "purchase intent." At the end of the analysis, we conclude with some relevant future research directions emerging from our bibliometric analysis.

This paper aims to assess the effects of agricultural Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) on the sustainable development of agricultural holdings in Cameroon. The data used are secondary data from the World Bank, the WGI, and the INS, namely the Balance of Payment of Cameroon (BP). The study period is from 1977 to 2018. An environmental performance index measures environmental sustainability. In addition, we use the Co-integration model of Engle and Granger for the case of time series as a methodological tool for secondary data. The estimation results of the model show that environmental pollution evolves according to the entry of FDI in the agricultural sector in Cameroon. Thus, the pollution haven hypothesis is verified in Cameroon. Therefore, we propose that the negative impacts of FDI on the sustainable development of agricultural holdings in Cameroon be seriously controlled.

Since managerial patterns have constantly been one of the major concerns of the scientific world while trying to find an optimum model for administrating organizational resources, the present article focuses on one of the most recently developed models, knowledge management. As expected, the proposed managerial paradigm is founded on the organizational knowledge developed within any functional system. In order to emphasize this particular resource's importance and contribution to the process of boosting organizational activity, our scientific effort aims to establish and analyze the employees' perceptions of some proposed knowledge developing methods, as well as regarding some internal/external aspects that could influence the managerial model implementation within military institutions. The primary methodological tool used by the author is the questionnaire, ensuring a significant informational corpus that is certainly useful for achieving the proposed research objectives. Subsequently, the study encourages a scientific dialogue regarding the main opportunities and solid challenges in implementing the new model.

The capital market plays a vital role in economic growth since it is an important source of financing the business sector’s investments. Hence, a developed capital market enables efficient financial resource allocation by channeling domestic savings to those that need capital, which in turn leads to increased investment directed towards innovation and supports sustainable growth. The main objective of this research is to examine the impact of macroeconomic determinants on the capital market development in the Republic of North Macedonia. The focus has been put on the investigation of two dependent variables, stock market turnover to GDP ratio and stock market turnover to market capitalization ratio (Turnover Ratio) as parameters resembling the liquidity (depth) of the capital market, and how they depend on the economic growth, macroeconomic stability, trade openness and gross investments to GDP ratio. The empirical study is based on a time-series data analysis based on relevant secondary data sources, based on the utilization of the Johansen Test of Cointegration and the development of a corresponding Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) to estimate the relationship, the impact, the magnitude, and the significance of the determinants that support, and influence the liquidity of the stock market in North Macedonia during the period from 2008:Q1 to 2021:Q4. The analysis shows the existence of a significant long-run relationship between the observed macroeconomic factors and the stock market liquidity. The findings indicate that imports and real interest rates have a negative, yet statistically significant impact on the stock market turnover to GDP ratio. The gross domestic product rate, exports, and inflation rate have all a positive and statistically significant impact on the stock market turnover to GDP ratio. Gross investments also positively affect the stock market turnover to GDP ratio, but not significantly. On the other hand, the analysis shows that gross investments and exports have a positive, yet statistically significant impact on the stock market turnover to market capitalization ratio. The gross domestic product, imports, and inflation rate have all a negative and statistically significant impact, whilst the impact of the interest rates is negative but insignificant.

The ubiquitousness of social media has made it an effective strategy for firms to communicate with consumers. Despite its relevance, it can be daunting and confusing when used as a marketing tool. This study examines the influence of social media marketing on customer-brand engagement in the banking industry. Based on a quantitative design, data were collected from 224 active followers of commercial banks’ social media pages in Nigeria. Cronbach’s alpha was used to test the reliability of the data while the hypotheses were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The result showed that the social media marketing dimensions of entertainment, personalization and eWOM positively and significantly affect customer-brand engagement. Therefore, it was recommended that firms should design and develop contents that are fun, exciting, and resonates with customers and customize content to customers’ interests. Also, firms should incentivize customers to share their brand experiences on their platforms.

Most people consider entrepreneurship to be an innate quality that few people have. In fact, it can be developed through education and training. It is the sum of environmental, personal and social factors. Experts in business and economics believe that the success of entrepreneurs depends largely on their education and the field in which they choose to do business. Therefore, if you feel that you have the necessary skills to start a business, entrepreneurship education will be a very important tool. Romania is facing an accelerated digitization process, with direct effects on traditional retail, which will increasingly migrate to online commerce.

The coronavirus pandemic has resulted in a significant shock to businesses, with negative implications on present production capacity. Simultaneously, technology is being increasingly recommended as a significant means of minimising economic losses caused by the pandemic. Survival and lack of performance of small and medium-sized businesses continue to generate public discourse, intellectual interest, and attention. Though relationship between technological capabilities and business performance is more intricate than is often assumed. Inadequate technological capability is one of the primary factors contributing to business situation. Therefore, relationship between technological capability (TC) and business performance was examined amongst selected small and medium-sized businesses in Lagos State. This study used a survey research methodology with a sample size of 742 owner-managers of chosen SMEs in Lagos State. A questionnaire that was adopted and validated for the study was used to collect data. The questionnaire questions' Cronbach's alpha coefficients range from 0.77 to 0.88. The response rate to the survey was 94.5 percent. Using descriptive and inferential statistics, the acquired data was analysed (Pearson product moment correlation and regression analysis). The examination of the data demonstrated a significant association between technological capacity and small company performance (= 0.090, t = 3.029, F= 245.45 p.05). The conclusion of this research is that technical aptitude is a resource that enhances the performance of small businesses, with theoretical and practical consequences for businesses. It is recommended that the managers of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Lagos State use their technology capability as a business resource, since this could help them generate new ideas or enhance existing goods.

For the award of a public procurement contract for the purchase of a product, work or service, the contracting authority must follow a sequence of stages, which represents a public procurement process. As a stage of the public procurement process, planning represents the set of activities carried out in public institutions that determine their main objectives, how they are achieved and what resources will be used during the process. Planning the procurement process is crucial. Failure to implement it correctly leads to errors and problems during the process of awarding and implementing the contract. The general objective of the work is to identify and solve the problems that arise during the planning process of public procurement in Romania, by identifying and anticipating directions that lead to the improvement of the entire public procurement system.
