Enhancing Osteoblast Response and Biointegration in vivo: Grown Zirconium Oxide Nanotube Bundles on Zirconium Surgical Screw 增强成骨细胞反应和体内生物整合:氧化锆纳米管束在锆外科螺钉上的生长

In this paper, the surface of zirconium implant was improved by growing zirconium oxide nanotubes using a simple chemical method to increase the surface porosity and thus increase the effectiveness of bone fusion. Histopathological examinations showed the filling of the bone lakes at the implant site with live bone cells and the penetration of Haversian canals into the blood vessels. EDXS profile confirmed the signal characteristic of zirconium and oxygen. EDXS profile is another evidence of pure ZrO2 nanotubes formation. EDXS presents peaks between 0.525 and 2.044 kV, which indicate the presence of ZrO2 nanotubes. SEM result showed that homogeneous nanotubes are less in diameter with increasing concentration of glycerine.

Ascaris lumbricoides, Trichuris trichiura, and Ancylostoma duodenale are soil-transmitted helminths (STHs) and medically neglected in Iraq country in spite of their effect on the public health. A cross-sectional study was performed in the Maternity and Childhood Teaching Hospital and General Education Hospital in Al-Dewanyia province, included 850 tool samples collected from patients who attended to the O&P lab. General stool examination (GSE), Direct wet mount method DWMM and Kato-Katz were using for diagnosis of STH infections through detected the adult and the ovum of the helminthes. A conventional multiplex PCR assay was used for detection of STHs in fecal samples. Base on microscopic examination. The results showed that 275/ 850 range among triple, double and single infection on other hand was 365/ 850 range among triple, double and single infection. In conclusions the investigative sensitivity of DWMM is notable for STH, in exception, it is capable to identify patients with the intention of highest required of management, and therefore contributes to the universal target to reduce STH as a community healthiness trouble.

Synthesis of Hydroxyapatite Nanostructures Using Chemical Method 化学法制备羟基磷灰石纳米结构

In this research, hydroxyapatite was prepared from natural and industrial sources using a simple chemical method. The fish (scales and bones), snail shells, bovine bones, horse bones, egg shells, cuttlefish bones and crab shells are composed by crystals of calcium carbonate (94%), organic matter (4%), calcium phosphate (1%) and magnesium carbonate (1%). EDX data for derived HAp from natural sources at 600°C, 800°C, 900°C and 1100 °C, respectively. Based on the EDX signatures, the Ca/P weight ratio for derived HAp was calculated and was found to be 1.67 at 600°C, 800°C, 900°C and 1100 °C, respectively. In the present work, it was found that XRD 2θ positions of the (bones, scales and shells) samples calcined at 600 °C and 1100 °C shifted by total error of 0.056 and 0.031, respectively, thus indicating that the HAp lattice has contracted due to loss of OH radicals. The peak at 1026-1049 cm-1 (ν3) was attributed to triply degenerate asymmetric ν3(PO) stretching. The tetrahedral PO4 3− internal mode (ν1) observed at 960 cm-1 represents the symmetric stretching of the P-O bond. The position of this peak represents the degree of crystallinity of the material and confirmed that the prepared HAp had highly crystallized nature.

Nanomedicine has tremendous prospects for the improvement of the diagnosis and treatment of human diseases. Nanotechnology has the potential to revolutionize a wide array of tools in biotechnology so that they are more personalized, portable, cheaper, safer and easier to administer. The present study aims to study the impact of copper oxide and selenium nanoparticles on the oxidative stress in sera of myocardial infraction patients through the synthesis and characterization of copper oxide and selenium nanoparticles, and the evaluation of the status of oxidative stress in sera of myocardial infraction patients through measurement of the activities of myeloperoxidase and gammaglutamyl transferase in the presence and absence of nanoparticles in sera of myocardial infraction patients. Cupric oxide nanoparticles and selenium nanoparticles have been prepared by a chemical method and by laser ablation method respectively, and have been characterized. The result indicated that copper oxide (grain shapes with the average size 30 80 nm) and selenium nanoparticles (rodshaped structures with the average size 70 90 nm) had an inhibition effects on myeloperoxidase and gamma-glutamyl transferase activities, and as a result had an inhibition effects on oxidative stress.

In consideration of the imperious need for developing a simple, ultra-sensitive and selective method to detect Hepatitis B virus (HBV), an label free aptasensor was constructed by the modification of a chemically inert glassy carbon electrode (GCE) by dint of a gold nanoparticle immobilized reduced graphene oxide. The ultrasensitive detection was attained using a specific ssDNA (thiolated aptamer at the 5′ end) as a recognition element. The aptamer was fastened onto GCE/rGO/Au surface via the Au-S bond for determining the impedance of charge mobility by means of [Fe(CN)6] 3-/4as a redox gauge. The function of aptasensor based on the specific interaction between the aptamer and specific surface antigen HBsAg induced [HBsAg-aptamer] complex formation which impeded electron movability between a [Fe(CN)6] 3-/4redox probe solution and sensing interface. HBsAgbinding aptamer events can be easily monitored by the signal switch through cyclic voltammetry technique (CV), square wave voltammetry (SWV), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) measurements. Under the optimized conditions, the aptasensor can detect HBsAg in the 0.25 fg/mL to 1.5 fg/mL concentration range and limit of detection of 0.018, 0.0016 and 0.001 fg/mL for CV, SWV and EIS respectively. The recovery of 88-109.6% was obtained. Moreover, the selectivity of the aptasensor was tested using other biological interfering substances. This developed aptasensor provided one of the lowest limits of detection for HBsAg recently reported in the literature, satisfying stability and good reproducibility, consequently could be applied for revealing HBsAg in real samples.
