The efficiency of the security of computer systems depends on the efficiency of the used security tools. Generally, these tools such as IDS suffer from imperfections leading to a lower level of security. To overcome these problems, this work falls within the framework of the new generation of intrusion detection systems able to detect known and unknown attacks and reduce the rate of false positives and negatives, by coupling two recent technologies: mobile agents and a new data mining algorithm Clust-density in one single IDS named IDS-AM-Clust. The simulation results obtained by implementing our system prove the high level of detecting intrusion and also the possibility to minimize false positive and negative rates.

Today, Cognitive radio (CR) is found to be the key technology to exploit the unused available spectrum resources; it can sense and use spectrum in an opportunistic manner without creating any harm to cognitive users. In this paper, we develop a cognitive radio access strategy based on the implementation of a dynamic genetic algorithm for CR. The crossover and mutation operators are developed to keep the channel allocation plan always in the appropriate state. Based on these techniques, reasonable implementation is proposed. Results demonstrate that our algorithm obtains satisfactory results with all satisfying network interference and reduce the number of used channels.

In this paper we propose a model that uses Job needs and organizations requirement to define an e-learning path that help the learner to be able to satisfy the job targeted. We review existing literature on adaptive learning systems, thereby; we propose a model using the recommendation of differentiated pedagogy, also the learner's profile and the Job characteristics. In this model, the system can offer the user a suggested learning path to meet appropriate learning of a job objective.

As one key technology in third generation communication, smart antenna can effectively increase system capacity and reduce co-channel interference for deployment and implementation of information and communication technologies in the Smart Cities. This article expounds in detail how to obtain Direction of Arrival (DOA) information using Multiple Signal Classification (MUSIC) algorithm with Uniform Circular Arrays (UCA) based on theoretical analysis of receiving spatial signal by uniform circular arrays. A number of simulation results were carried using MATLAB and compared with the experimented one. The comparison show that proposed MUSIC algorithm is more accurate and stable.

E-learning platforms are constantly changing; they have transformed the everyday life of teachers and students. An e-learning platforms study, from a methodical, systemic approach that identifies the dimensions, specifications and the essential criteria for the evaluation of these platforms is necessary. In this paper, we propose an analytical study of free e-learning platforms. Four platforms have been selected according to requested criteria filter among the 600 platforms listed in the THOT CURSUS directory. Subsequently, we make a comparative study of these platforms. On the one hand, we would like to measure the degree of adequacy between technological opportunities they offer and the pedagogical presuppositions of training. On the other hand, for clarifying and supporting the users in their choice of the most suitable platform for their needs so that they can benefit to the maximum of potential offered by technologies in pedagogy, and approach the problematic of the platform choice for a better pedagogy.

Extensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) is a new concept that Charles Hoffman, Certified Public Accountant American, initiated in 1998 by working on XML and the financial statements. Its goal is to produce intelligent information in global open-standard data-tagging protocol for financial information. This technology revolutionizes the world of business information. Examining the trends of research on XBRL seems very important and original, as it uses the Bibliometric and the Business Intelligence (BI) to generate the most relevant results. Based on 113 scientific articles, the result shows us that there is an evolution of publications, and an increasing incentive explained by the expansion and diffusion of this innovation in more than 60 countries. The USA is the first country with more than 50% of publications on this topic. The rest of the scientific articles is distributed among the other countries of Europe, Asia and Australia. The main research topics on or with XBRL are: The development, description and quality assurance, Research on XBRL and its importance for financial reporting, the critical factors of adoption and diffusion, and XBRL impact on the quality of information, on corporate governance, information asymmetry and performance, etc.

Smart Manufacturing is the fourth revolution in the manufacturing industry “industry 4.0”. The integration of Internet of things and Cloud manufacturing becomes increasingly important for the development of the industry 4.0. The objective of industry 4.0 is not just to improve the production management but also manage and reduce equipment downtime, for that many strategies could be implemented to ensure the good condition of equipment. The efficient one is the predictive maintenance which collects information from sensors and predicts the malfunction or failure in the system. Prognostics Health Manager (PHM) offers significant benefits for maintenance. It predicts the future behavior of a system as well as its remaining useful life. This paper offers a new architecture to provide PHM solutions as a service in cloud computing environment (PHM-SaaS, PHM-PaaS, PHM-IaaS). We defined the entities and actors as well as their behavior in this architecture. To test our approach we were interested by the prognostics and post-prognostics process which are the main steps in the PHM technology, the remaining useful life is estimated in the prognostics step and according to this RUL a decision is automatically provided by the post prognostics process.

Designing intelligent tutoring systems (ITS) requires appropriate assessment tools to ensure a good usability by learners. In this work we discuss the process of content adaptation in ITS. We study and assess the usability of a brain-activity-based approach to address the issue of content adaptation in ITS. The approach aims at continuously assessing the learners' mental states during a learning task. Results from this investigation are motivating to design future content adaptation architectures of ITS which take advantage from brain signals.

Embedded systems can be defined as autonomous electronic and computer systems which are increasingly used to control complex systems, they are found in medical equipment, ATMs, etc. The known drop test on the name <;<; drop-test >> is the most used method for assessing the reliability of solder joints, using the description of the procedure of the drop test according to the JEDEC standard [8]. In this article, we present a simulation of finite element model to reflect the maximum deformation due to temperature using the simulation software ANSYS Mechanical. It is considered that the parameters are random and proposed a probabilistic study of mechatronic system.

In this paper we propose a novel method to automatically detect the polyp's ROI (Region Of Interest) based on a Gaussian Mixture Model, Esperance Maximization algorithm segmentation, Hough transform and region growing. Our main objective through this work is to help in the early detection and precise analyze for the polyps diagnosis, which is a huge apport for the health care. The experimental results show that the proposed method can achieve 83.15% accuracy and 98% sensitivity on our data set.
