The purpose of writing this article is to determine the effectiveness of verbal and table multi- representation learning for 5th semester physics students on the characteristics of electromagnetic waves. The background of this article is that there are many physics students who have low verbal and table multirepresentation abilities, so this research needs to be done in order to find out the multi-presentation ability of physics students which can be seen from the results of their answers when solving problems on the characteristics of electromagnetic waves. The data collection process is carried out with a survey method of knowledge tests using a questionnaire on the google form application. The method used is a quantitative method, namely by collecting data, then analyzing it. The population of this study were 50 physics education students while the sample was fifth semester students who were studying the characteristics of electromagnetic waves. With the data collection method above, the results obtained are the results of the multi-representation in the form of a table which is higher than the multi-representation in the form of a verbal. Therefore, this multi-representation learning strategy in the form of a table can be a solution to increase student knowledge on the material characteristics of electromagnetic waves.Key words: multipresentation, learning, electromagnetic waves

This study aims to identify the completeness and accuracy of the contents of the 2013 curriculum science student textbooks on environmental pollution material in grade VII. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the completeness of the contents of the 2013 curriculum science student textbook on environmental pollution material for grade VII was considered incomplete, this was due to the fact that there were still some sub-materials that had not been included. As for the accuracy of the contents of the book, it can be said that it is quite in accordance with the indicators of KD achievement from KI-1, KI-2, KI-3 and KI-4. This is evidenced by the suitability of the content of the book which is sufficient to meet the KD achievement indicators from KI. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be said that the student textbook is feasible as teaching material but still requires improvement. This study aims to determine the response of students to the use of comic media in science learning with static electricity material which the authors expect to get a positive response from students and can help reduce student boredom in science learning using comic media. By making media that is fun and does not make students bored, students will be more enthusiastic in learning and the learning process can take place well without any complaints from students who feel bored by only using written media. Material static electricity is one of the branches of physics material that is important for students to understand. By using comic book media in delivering static electricity with a few pictures, it can reduce student boredom and it will be more fun than just writing. This research method uses a qualitative method by surveying the opinions of several students in different schools regarding the use of comic media on online system static electricity material using the whats app group. The results of the study showed that many students were interested in the use of comic media compared to only using writing in science learning with static electricity in online systems. Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) has practical challenges, frequently linked to a restricted concept of sustainable literacy. This study investigates the effect of COVID-19 on sustainability literate views and practices using an educational symposium that detects changes in attitudes and practices of sustainability. This research investigates how disruption of pandemics might influence people and organizations. By comparing past global environmental restructuring plans with personal, professional and societal developments. Conceptions on sustainability and practice have modified the influence of COVID 19 on learning. The results demonstrate that the advantages of the epidemic have improved educators' thinking and increased their will for change by using the social networks of the educational community to promote collective action. There is no relevance of the direct regional head election system to democracy in the perspective of the Pancasila philosophy. This is the conclusion of the study, measuring the level of relevance of the direct election system for regional heads with democracy in the perspective of the Pancasila philosophy. A reflection of Pancasila education learning in universities. The study analyzed as many as 763 students as respondents who were taking Pancasila Education courses. Analysis of the research ambiguity occurs, the implementation of the regional head election directly received the support of the wider community. However, the philosophy of Pancasila is not inherent in the existence of the essence of the values and norms of Pancasila, the fourth principle of Pancasila "Democracy Led by Wisdom in Representative Deliberations" is philosophically relevant to indirect regional head elections (representative democracy). The negative impact can damage the nation's morale, because money politics often occurs during campaigns, the intention to return capital instantly, so that regional heads are prone to being entangled in corruption, and acts of anarchy often occur as a reaction to disappointment and dissatisfaction. It is recommended that if the democracy of direct regional head elections is still carried out, it is necessary to educate the public's political intelligence and strict law enforcement to handle cases of violations. This research investigates the effect of explicit phonetic instruction on L2 pronunciation adopting two outcome measurements (i.e. rubric of intelligibility and accentedness). Ten native Indonesian students from English Phonology class participated in this study. They were randomly selected and divided into two groups; the experimental group and the control group and did pre-test as their entry points. After they received three hours of instruction in a classroom based setting with target pronunciation of English segmental diphthongs [aʊ], [aɪ], and [ɔɪ], and recorded their speech samples, three Native English listeners evaluated their speeches. The results suggest that explicit phonetic instruction had significant effect on the diphthongs production and intelligibility especially on the controlled level speech (sentence reading task) however, only slight reduction of foreign accent was found in this study. It is also found that most students mispronounced the diphthongs: a) [aɪ] as in night was pronounced [eɪ], b) [aɪ] in time was pronounced [e], c) [aʊ] in house, shout, brown, nded, was pronounced as [ɔ], d) [aʊ] in sounded was pronounced as [ɔʊ] and [ɔ] but no results were found when participants mispronouncing diphthong [ɔɪ]. Moreover, the data shown that participants still have a segmental problem in the pronunciation of [aɪ] in the spontaneous speech level (picture description task). Additionally, it is evident from the analysis that that explicit instruction outperformed the participants’ intelligibility in the experimental group specifically at the controlled speech level or on sentence-reading task. Furthermore, the present study illustrated that Native English (NE) listeners rated students’ speeches more strictly in the domain of intelligibility than accentedness both in sentence-reading task and picture description task. The data from findings confirmed that even accented speech can be intelligible for NE listeners and proved that segmental aspect is the major source affecting pronunciation features for communication breakdown.
研究还发现,大多数学生读错了双元音:a) [a æ]在night中被读成[e æ], b) [a æ]在time中被读成[e], c) [a æ]在house、shout、brown、nded中被读成[j], d) [a æ]在sounds中被读成[j]和[j],但当参与者读错双元音[j]时,没有发现结果。
