A comprehensive review of smart grid related standards and protocols 全面回顾智能电网相关标准和协议

The emergence of the smart grid has led to the development of a diverse set of standards and protocols for achieving interoperability among smart devices. These smart grid related standards and protocols cover a wide variety of power system components and functionalities. In this paper, a comprehensive review of commonly used standards and protocols in the smart grid environment is provided, ranging from those related to the enterprise, control center and wide area monitoring, distributed generation, substation, demand response, metering, electric vehicles and cyber security.

A smart approach on collecting working condition data from home appliances under the field test 一种现场测试家用电器工况数据采集的智能方法

This study presents management of the data that are taken from the home appliances which are in the field test process. Field test process means collecting the data from the device by sensors, the measurement from environment, then evaluation of this information. This information depends on climate, altitude, user profile etc. Major application area of this study is home appliances sets and their domestic field test process. Also, this smart approach can be applied to any system including any electrical equipment in smart grid. Only 2 different requirements should be covered. (i) Device Under Test (DUT) should work with the specialized test box to send working condition data and environmental measurements. (ii) GSM network should be alive in field test location. This study shows a new smart approach which relies on sending the field test data and environmental conditions over the GSM. The selection reason of GSM communication protocol in this study is the coverage percentage of this protocol is wider than others.

Hilbert transform based simple detection and indice analyze of voltage sags using synthetic data 基于希尔伯特变换的综合数据电压跌落简单检测与指标分析

Electrical grid has lots of changes in its morphology and managing style since first installed nearly two hundred years ago. Today, smart grid structure plays a crucial role when creating a sustainable and reliable operation. In smart grid context, power quality issues are monitored and required measures are obtained from smart meters. Power quality term include voltage quality. When it is about voltage quality, sags take the lead among other disturbances. System operators have to track voltage sags to provide a better service quality. In this study, a fast and simple algorithm called Hilbert Transform is used to detect voltage sags in synthetic dataset. Then, a voltage sag table is built considering related IEEE and IEC standards to identify site indices SARFI-X and SIARFI-X. Purpose of the study is being a first step to voltage sag detection and defining indices with real data. Obtained results denote and feed this aim.

Switched-capacitors placement in presence of electric vehicles based on the reliability and economy indices 基于可靠性和经济性指标的电动汽车存在下的开关电容器布置

Due to high contribution of distribution networks in energy losses, the distribution companies have encountered with a new challenge in minimizing energy losses. This article aimed at analyzing placement of capacitors in distribution networks in presence of electric vehicles observing reliability and economy components. The goal was to minimize the system total cost, including system power loss, system risk, and investment, purchased energy from upstream network and maintenance. Also, for achieving practical results, the inflation and interest rates were taken into account as the economic factor in programming. The annual rate of the load increase, daily and yearly changes and the consumers loads were used in modeling.

Electric bus concept against to diesel and CNG bus for public transport operations 电动巴士概念与柴油及压缩天然气巴士的公共交通运作

As sustainable mobility paradigm gains popularity nowadays, public transportation is becoming more important. Research about possible saving potentials and efficient management in energy resources in this area is still continuing. In this study, vehicle concepts utilizing alternative energy resources are examined. Increasing impact of greenhouse gases fosters the studies regarding “zero-emission sustainable mobility systems” in our country, as well as all over the world. This gives responsibility to many organizations including public organizations which provide public transport services. The aim of this study is to generate a model promoting awareness for local governments about “zero-emission sustainable mobility systems” by designing an electric bus concept in public transportation in Turkey, particularly in tstanbul-tETT. For electric buses, in “well-to-wheel” conditions, total ownership costs are taken into account in this model. The model in this paper calculates the optimisation of electric, diesel and CNG buses with AHP and TOPStS technics. In this study, real performance indicators collected in Istanbul are taken into account, based on the model built on ownership costs. By this dynamic model, a reference model is created for other transport authorities in other cities as well.

Implementation of 1 kV on LV feeders: A smart alternative to MV line investments to solve voltage drop problems at LV systems 在低压馈线上实施1kv:解决低压系统电压下降问题的中压线路投资的智能替代方案

This paper presents methodology and on-site pilot implementation of utilizing 1 kV at low voltage (LV) feeders as an alternative to medium voltage (MV) line investments to solve voltage drop problems at LV systems. Typically distribution companies solve voltage drop problems of LV system by installing a new MV/LV transformer and transferring outmost loads of the existing transformer to the new transformer. This necessitates installation of MV line between the existing and new transformer. The implementation of 1 kV on the existing LV lines eliminates the need for MV line investment. It can be an alternative solution at those regions where MV line investment is challenging due to land use issues or bureaucratic concerns. In addition, the study shows that 1 kV implementation could be cost effective than the traditional MV expansion. Furthermore, such an implementation provides more flexibility to the operators, as addressed in the study.

The smart city is still an emerging concept due to the certain and complex requirements of individuals and community. However, there is an agreement among people that ICT will have a critical role in the sense, analysis, and integration of services in smart cities. Several models, simulations and theories have been proposed to facilitate the life of people and community in smart cities. This paper simulates a smart city to deal with the complex and certain requirements of people in smart cities in the foreseeable future.

Estimation of short-term power load of a small house by generalized behavioural learning method 基于广义行为学习方法的小型住宅短期电力负荷估算

Power load estimation, especially short-term power load estimation, plays an important role in the management of a power system in terms of system security and electricity costs. Therefore, estimation of short-term power load accurately is a popular research issue. In this paper, the generalized behavioral learning method (GBLM), a method developed based on human's behavioral learning theories, was employed to estimate short-term power load. The datasets that belong to houses B and C were employed in the estimation process. Achieved results by GBLM and extreme learning machine (ELM) ELM were compared. It is showed that GBLM estimates short-term power load with a higher success rate than ELM.

Simulation study for global neighborhood algorithm based optimal automatic voltage regulator (AVR) system 基于全局邻域算法的最优自动调压系统仿真研究

Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) is an important local system for synchronous generators used for electric power generation, to keep constant rated voltage value and control reactive power supplied to or received from the power system. For this purpose, providing the optimality of AVR system must be handled as a more important issue in terms of power quality and system security and reliability as well. In this paper, the heuristic optimization methods like Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) Algorithm and Global Neighborhood Algorithm (GNA) are used comparatively so as to tune PID controller parameters of AVR system. The AVR loop is modeled from its transfer function. The optimization performances of the chosen algorithms are compared with each other by using transient response analysis.
自动电压调节器(AVR)是用于同步发电机发电的重要局域系统,其作用是保持额定电压恒定,控制向电力系统输入或接收的无功功率。为此,提供AVR系统的最优性必须作为电能质量和系统安全可靠性的重要问题来处理。本文比较采用粒子群算法(PSO)和全局邻域算法(GNA)等启发式优化方法对AVR系统的PID控制器参数进行整定。AVR回路由其传递函数建模。通过瞬态响应分析,对所选算法的优化性能进行了比较。

Automatic and remote reading systems of energy meters are spreading more each day. However, electricity meter data sometimes bear missing elements and outliers, due to communication faults, device faults, or energy fraud. We set up mathematical models in order to be able to interpolate missing data and detect fraud. In this work, two models are developed and compared in terms of performance, using long-term real consumption data.
