Investigation of central frequency and central loss factor values on dioctyl-phthalate (DOP) plasticized PVC films 邻苯二甲酸二辛酯(DOP)增塑型PVC薄膜中心频率和中心损耗因子的研究

Cables are important assets for the electricity provider companies, therefore monitoring the condition of them is an important issue as well. Loss factor (tan δ) measurement is a widely used technique in insulation diagnostics. In this paper PVC films were investigated with different DOP plasticizer contents (0, 30, 40, 50 wt%) before and after thermal aging by means of an electrical (loss factor) and a mechanical (Shore D hardness) measurement method. From the results of loss factor measurement new deducted quantities, the central frequency and central loss factor values were calculated to examine the shifting and the intensity changes of tan delta vs. frequency curves for different plasticizer contents. The results suggest that these values can be used to pre-indicate the degradation of PVC insulations.

Influence of Temperature on Electrical Properties of POSS/Mineral Oil based Nanofluids 温度对POSS/矿物油基纳米流体电性能的影响

Polyhedral Oligomeric Silsesquioxane (POSS), a nanometric hybrid molecule, is being paid great attention in the field of polymeric micro and nanodielectrics, providing strong dispersion and dissolution power in solid and liquid dielectric materials which overcomes the sedimentation and agglomeration issues in nanocomposite insulation materials. This work presents the effect of temperature on electrical properties of Octa-isobutyl POSS (Oib-POSS) mineral based nanofluids prepared with two different concentrations 0.1 and 0.15 wt. % and the results are compared with fresh mineral oil. Dielectric properties that include relative permittivity, dissipation factor and volume resistivity along with the AC breakdown voltage are analyzed within a temperature range of 0-80°C in agreement with the IEC standards. Finally, 2-parameter Weibull analysis is performed over the AC breakdown voltage to validate the consistency of breakdown results. It is found that the POSS nanofluids show improved AC breakdown strength and dielectric properties e.g. relative permittivity, dissipation factor and volume resistivity compared with virgin mineral oil in entire temperature range. The results also show that the increase of POSS concentration not only improve the dielectric properties but also enhance the AC breakdown strength of mineral oil.

A hybrid compensation system for provision of ancillary services in medium voltage grids 一种用于提供中压电网辅助服务的混合补偿系统

Medium voltage grids are subject to a change in load situation due to the installation of decentralized generation plants. Predominantly load symmetry, active and reactive power flows as well as requirements for the necessary capacity of earth fault compensation are affected. Decentralized generation connected through power electronics as well as consumers using switching power supplies cause distortions. Furthermore, electrical energy storage is gaining importance within rural distribution networks to compensate fluctuating generation plants. A hybrid compensation system can contribute to provision of adequate power quality by integrating several ancillary services into a single device. In this article the design of the hybrid compensation system is introduced and it is evaluated, which ancillary services in medium voltage distribution grids are likely to be provided using an inverter-based hybrid compensation system and a hybrid storage system.

A Review of Methods and Associated Models used in Return Voltage Measurement 回路电压测量方法及相关模型综述

The measurement of dielectric properties of high voltage equipment insulations gives the basic information of the condition of the insulation. This helps in determine the aging process in the insulation. The diagnosis of the dielectric properties of the insulation materials can be performed either in time or frequency domain. In the time domain, measurement of voltage return was introduced by Endre Németh in the mid of 1960's to study the slow dielectric polarization process. This technique then gave birth to new techniques Return Voltage Measurement and Voltage Response method. Due to the non-destructive nature of the techniques, they gain the attention of the researchers for the study of the insulation diagnosis. Since their birth the methods have been used by many researchers to study the aging and dielectric relaxation processes in the insulations with the introduction of different dielectric models such as Debye and Maxwell models. In this research work some recent research work done in the measurement of return voltage technique is studied with suggesting some potential areas of the implementation of the technique.

Application of frequency method for analysis of power auto transformers 频率法在电力自动变压器分析中的应用

Article presents experimental analyses of power transformers by two frequency methods. The first part of article deals with the possibilities of diagnostics for power transformers. The second part of article deals use method of frequency domain spectroscopy (FDS) for condition analyse of equipment. Finally, the article presents experimental measurements of diagnostics for analysis of four identical power autotransformers 231/121/10.6 kV.

Parameter Identification of Electromagnetic Unit in Capacitive Voltage Transformer 电容式电压互感器电磁单元参数辨识

Capacitive voltage transformer (CVT) is composed by a capacitive divider unit and an electromagnetic unit. In order to simulate CVT's performance, it is necessary to establish the equivalent model of CVT and obtain all the equivalent parameters. The equivalent parameters of the capacitive voltage divider unit can be measured; however, the electromagnetic unit is a sealed chamber, and its parameters are hard to obtain directly. The paper proposes a 220kV CVT circuit model incorporates divider insulation parameters, and the CVT measurement errors under different loads are obtained by the load error characteristic test. For the electromagnetic model is fixed and parameters are uncertain, the load error data is fitted by the genetic algorithm and LM algorithm. The equivalent electrical parameters of CVT electromagnetic unit are obtained, and the equivalent CVT circuit model is constructed by combining the parameters of the capacitive voltage divider.

Corona Resistance of Direct Flourinated Epoxy/Al2O3 Nanocomposites 直接氟化环氧/Al2O3纳米复合材料的耐电晕性能

Pure epoxy resin and epoxy/Al2O3nanocomposite sheets were prepared and directly fluorinated. The ATR-IR spectrum proves the existence of C-Fx groups in fluorinated samples. Dielectric permittivity increases because of Al2O3nanoparticles yet fluorination leads to decreasing of permittivity. Results of surface potential decay and surface morphology measurement indicate that combination of fluorination and nano filling significantly improves corona resistance of epoxy resin. Charge injection to sample matrix tends to be restrained by high surface conductivity of fluorinated layer, while nanoparticles may attenuate the mean kinetic energy of negative charge carriers that arriving sample surface, and increase the probability of charge being captured in matrix. In addition, the high bond energy of C-Fx groups and Al2O3nanoparticles may contributed to the improved resistance of epoxy resin to corona discharge.

Thermal Ageing Condition Assessment for Transformer Using Natural Ester-Paper Insulation Based on Polarization and Depolarization Current 基于极化和去极化电流的天然酯纸绝缘变压器热老化状况评估

Accurate diagnosis of transformer aging state is very important for ensuring safe operation of transformer. Polarization and Depolarization Current (PDC) behaviors of mineral oil-paper insulation have been widely investigated. With the popularization and application of natural ester, it is very important to diagnose the aging state of natural ester transformer. In this paper, thermal ageing condition assessment for natural ester-paper insulation based on PDC was investigated. Results show that the degradation of polymeric insulation systems increases the space charge density and the concentration of electrical dipoles. The longer the ageing time, the higher amplitude the depolarization current values of natural ester-paper insulation sample (NEP). There is no consistent change for the absorption ratio and the polarization index of the natural ester-paper insulation in the aging process. The polarization index changing behavior for NEP is the same to mineral oil-paper insulation sample (MOP). While the absorption ratio changing behavior for NEP is different to MOP. The MOP has higher polarization index than the NEP when the DP falling down to 500. The NEP has higher absorption ratio than the MOP when the DP falling down to 800. According to the ratio of depolarized total charge quantity growth, the aging stage can be clearly divided into four stages, which is DP>800, 800>DP>600, 600>DP>400, DP<400. It is found that the depolarized total charge quantity growth can be used to predict the ageing condition of oil-paper insulation.

This study aims on the detection of PD inception voltage and tree growth in silicone rubber under DC conditions, using a fluorescent silicone fiber sensor in combination with an optical converter and the PD measuring system as well as a camera. A typical PD source was used and embedded in model samples made of transparent silicone rubber. By means of time synchronous optical and electrical measurements at positive and negative DC voltages, the results contribute to a better understanding of the degradation of silicone rubber in DC cable accessories.
