Objectives General: to create a Pulmonary Physiotherapy Program to ensure that the patient with severe or severe post-COVID-19 disease with pulmonary compromise and, with oxygen supplementation, reaches their maximum functional capacity, which in turn facilitates the maximum degree of autonomy and improvement in health-related quality of life. Specific objectives: Minimize the sensation of dyspnea. Improvement of ventilatory mechanics, oxygenation and reduction of supplemental oxygen. Increased strength of respiratory muscles. Promote functional independence through improvement in cardiopulmonary capacity. Evaluate the impact of the program using the quality of life assessment scale. Methodology: Case report, quantitative, longitudinal and prospective. Contribution: The scientific contribution of this article focuses on the knowledge of non-pharmacological treatment (Pulmonary Physiotherapy) in the post-COVID-19 and type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patient.

Objectives: To stop the neurodevelopmental delay of a six-month-old pediatric patient through the application of Neurohabilitation Therapy. To analyze the evolution with early detection, adherence to treatment and the participation of the baby's family nucleus, for the improvement of his neurodevelopment. To demonstrate the efficiency of the application of Neurohabilitation Therapy in six-month-old pediatric patients. Methodology: Type of study: quasi-experimental descriptive study with quantitative approach and prospective longitudinal design. Contributions: The treatment was efficient to stop neurodevelopmental delay, negative responses were obtained in 3/3 reflexes at spinal level, 8/8 reflexes at brain stem level, in automatic movement reactions 2/3 negative responses and 1/3 positive response. According to Amiel Tison's neurological examination of the 1st year of life, scores of 0 were obtained in cranial growth, relational life, passive tone, motor skills and primary reflexes, indicating that the infant's neurodevelopment is normal according to age.

The present study aims to describe the efficacy of Kinect technology for the therapeutic rehabilitation of geriatric patients by conducting and analyzing a 8-session therapeutic program based on this technology in which 12 study subjects participated, 8 Male subjects and 4 female subjects, within the physical capacities, the muscular strength was evaluated in the Daniels scale of the flexion of the hip, knee, shoulder and elbow and the goniometry of the flexion / extension of these same members. A greater elasticity and mobility were observed by female subjects apart from a greater increase in the range of motion in the same period of time than Male subjects, with respect to muscle strength, it was not possible to demonstrate a significant advance so the effectiveness of Kinect therapy in this area still shows contrasts in its results. Objective: to describe the efficacy of kinect technology for the therapeutic rehabilitation of elderly patients by carrying out and analyzing a therapeutic program. Methodology: analysis of the results obtained after several sessions of application of the games of the Xbox 360 console with Kinect control.

The Medial epicondylitis is one of the most common and disabling injuries of pitchers, it has been shown that proper diagnosis and early treatment of this condition can prevent future defections of pitchers. A causal-experimental, descriptive, longitudinal study of a 32-year-old softball pitcher diagnosed with medial epicondylitis. In this study, the pitcher was reintegrated into the pitch without experiencing painful episodes during and at the end of the game, which is why the physiotherapeutic treatment was complemented with the neuromuscular bandage that supported the forced valgus movement during the pitching. Without showing painful episodes. There was a considerable increase in the range of mobility and the increase in speed in their throws. It could be concluded that the successful treatment can not only reinstate the pitchers to the field of play but also improve their speed and throwing technique by not perceiving painful sensations

Objective: To analyze in a population of young university students of the Degree in Physical Therapy of the Polytechnic University of Pachuca the influence of BMI on postural, antero-posterior, mid-lateral and general stability through the use of Biodex Balance SD system. Method: Measurements of height BMI weight of all individuals were performed, data were presented by means of registration tables, then the results were classified according to the BMI that presented each of them separating them into low, normal and overweight BMI groups and their postural stability test results were compared between these normal groups and the results presented graphically. Results: According to the comparisons, it was noted that overweight is a determining factor in postural control, mainly in the anteroposterior index with a score greater than .06 over those of normal BMI and .1 of those of low.

The project named “Therapeutic Accompaniment for the Acceptance or Rejection of a Prosthesis: case of a child patient with amputation of the upper limb” is derived from the investigation called Adaptation and Physiotherapeutic Qualification of Handheld Myoelectric Prosthetic Prosthesis, which was a work multidisciplinary and multi-institutional, where construction, design adaptation and habilitation included the areas of manufacturing, electronics, programming and physical therapy. The psychological area was structured transversally to physiotherapeutic adaptation-habilitation in response to the need to identify the factors that were influencing the acceptance or rejection of the use of the prosthesis. The objective of the project was to identify the set of discursive representations that favor the rejection or acceptance of the prosthesis using the techniques of narrative therapy and game therapy through the semi-structured interview. The methodological design is case analysis, which is a type of qualitative and exploratory study. The results obtained from the identification of the representations allowed us to propose an intervention protocol to accompany patients of 4 to 12 years candidates to use a prosthesis.

Recover the functionality through a static stretching and isometric strengthening exercises in the aftermath of a Frykman type I fracture program. Methodology: It was applied a physiotherapeutic treatment based on static stretching and isometric strengthening which consisted in 22 sessions divided into three stages. Results: It was obtained an effective treatment for recovering and increasing muscular strength and range of motion, having a positive impact on the patient's functionality. Conclusion: The favorable results obtained allow us to use this treatment as an advice to recover the functionality in patients with of Frykman type I fracture sequelae

The high tension developed by the instrumentalists in certain muscle groups during the instrumental practice, together with the high frequency of recurrence in certain movements, constitutes, among other things, one of the main risk of injury. The importance of this study is to present the consequences of the physical effort that involves the fact of playing an instrument, and for long hours to practice, since students relate the discomfort does not always mean, or are sufficiently important to affect the way of playing. It aims to design a proposal for a protocol of physiotherapy care for the implementation of the same, it starts with the purpose of providing a tool that serves as information students specifically to the area of ropes, as a method of prevention, in order to aid in their daily practice activities and suggest timely attention to all your needs.

Baseball is a high-demand sport in which 1 out of every 4 players suffers an important musculoskeletal injury enough to demand a temporary or definitive competition withdrawal, being medial epicondylitis the main injury found in the elbow due to repetitive overload. Method: An experimental, prospective and longitudinal study was conducted, it was performed in a 19-year-old male patient, diagnosed with II grade medial epicondylitis, due to amateur baseball practice, who received physiotherapeutic treatment consisted of eccentric strengthening exercises and the application of cryotherapy for 15 sessions. Results: The patient began treatment with an 8 degree of pain based on the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and muscle strength ranging from 3 to 3+ in each muscle group involved according to the Daniels scale. At the end of the application of the treatment protocol, the degree of pain presented was reduced by 30% and muscle strength increased by 40% in every muscle groups assessed. Conclusion: The presentation of this clinical case can evidence and report a favorable evolution during the 15 sessions of application of the treatment protocol, which is why it is determined effective in reducing pain and increasing muscle strength.

Method: An experimental, prospective and longitudinal study was conducted, it was performed in a 19-year-old male patient, diagnosed with II grade medial epicondylitis, due to amateur baseball practice, who received physiotherapeutic treatment consisted of eccentric strengthening exercises and the application of cryotherapy for 15 sessions. Results: The patient began treatment with an 8 degree of pain based on the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and muscle strength ranging from 3 to 3+ in each muscle group involved according to the Daniels scale. At the end of the application of the treatment protocol, the degree of pain presented was reduced by 30% and muscle strength increased by 40% in every muscle groups assessed. Objective: To determine the effectiveness of the application of low rate TENS in hypertrophic scars in a patient with sequelae of third degree burns in upper limbs. Methodology: The approach was qualitative with a grounded theory design. The measuring instruments at the beginning and at the end of the treatment were the POSAS scale and goniometry. The treatment consists of 15 sessions of TENS application at a modulated frequency of 2-5 Hz in the arm and forearm bilaterally. Results: At the end of the treatment, the POSAS scale proved the decrease in pain and pruritus; on the other hand, there was an increase in the range of movement, especially on the right side. Conclusion: Fascial mobilization is important during the approach of hypertrophic scars; the use of TENS contributes to the reorganization of the collagen fibers of the scar, pain and pruritus and is proposed as a treatment agent within physiotherapy; in addition, long-term complementary with other myofascial release techniques is suggested
