Brain Computer Interface Based Smart Environment Control 基于脑机接口的智能环境控制

The main advantage of a Brain Computer Interfaced (BCI) systems is that it enables direct communication between brain and computer. This study proposes an Electroencephalogram (EEG) based BCI system for smart environment control. Features from EEG data, ISRUC-Sleep was extracted. Extracted features from data were used for training a classifier for classification of the cognitive stage of the person (Alert, Relaxed and Sleep). The weighted k nearest neighbor (Wk-NN) algorithm based classifier was designed on MATLAB. And the environment was controlled based on the cognitive state of the person. The accuracy achieved for classification of the cognitive state was 92.5%. At last a prototype smart environment control was practiced.

Smart Walking Stick 智能手杖

The main aim is to make a smart stick to avoid leg weakness, balance loss and improper navigation of indoors and outdoors. These are the reason for fall accidents occur which might be dangerous and harmful. A suitable device is needed to help the blind and elderly people to walk outside or inside with full confident and independently. The project aims at designing robot cane which will monitor normally the events that will occur and also to improvised navigation of outdoors and indoor by detecting obstacle at different heights on flat road. The cane is also modeled to consider real-time movements of person walking or their different style of walking by counting the each step they are heading to and how much they travelled. A threshold level is set for acceleration value when person walks. Combination of ultrasonic sensor and force sensor placed in the tip of shoe which will help to measure the distance between stick and leg. If a person tend to fall his hand's pressure will be more than usual one and pressure sensor will sense that pressure and force will be exerted to the shoe. When output will be more than threshold value then alarm is activated.

Design and Construction of Arduino Based pH Control System for Household Waste Water Reuse 基于Arduino的生活污水回用pH控制系统的设计与实现

This paper proposes an automatic system that treats the household waste water to obtain optimum pH which is suitable for crop irrigation. Each plant species has a preferred pH and in general, the optimal range for maximum plant growth is 5.4 to 6.8. For a healthy plant growth the quality of soil and water plays a vital role and the combined pH of soil and the waste water must be in the range of 5.5 to 7. Soil pH of the particular area is first measured and the pH of the waste water is treated in such a way that the combined pH will be suitable for plant growth. A hardware setup is presented in this paper to automate this process with the help of microcontroller, solenoid valve, DC motor and pH sensor. It also can be semi-automated with the help of microcontroller, solenoid valve, DC motor, 4×4 keypad and pH paper.

Checkpoints Assignment on Cyber-Physical Digital Microfluidic Biochips for Early Detection of Hardware Trojans 网络物理数字微流控生物芯片的检查点分配用于早期检测硬件木马

Present security study involving analysis of manipulation of individual droplets of samples and reagents by digital microfluidic biochip has remarked that the biochip design flow is vulnerable to piracy attacks, hardware Trojans attacks, overproduction, Denial-of-Service attacks, and counterfeiting. Attackers can introduce bioprotocol manipulation attacks against biochips used for medical diagnosis, biochemical analysis, and frequent diseases detection in healthcare industry. Among these attacks, hardware Trojans have created a major threatening issue in its security concern with multiple ways to crack the sensitive data or alter original functionality by doing malicious operations in biochips. In this paper, we present a systematic algorithm for the assignment of checkpoints required for error-recovery of available bioprotocols in case of hardware Trojans attacks in performing operations by biochip. Moreover, it can guide the placement and timing of checkpoints so that the result of an attack is reduced, and hence enhance the security concerns of digital microfluidic biochips. Comparative study with traditional checkpoint schemes demonstrate the superiority of the proposed algorithm without overhead of the bioprotocol completion time with higher error detection accuracy.

Comparative Study Of APRIORI and FP Algorithm For Decision Making APRIORI与FP算法在决策中的比较研究

Decision Making is one of the hardest and most crucial skill and as there are many tools to support the leader of big companies to make an error free decisions, but ever since data mining has arrived in the world of business the job of such leaders has become much more crucial in order to take best decision. Apriori and FP Growth are two widely used algorithm to predict the data. These algorithm are used to do extensive research on the frequent itemsets in order to get possible results. This research contributes as an insight in selective perception on how we can prowess the apt of decision making using business analytics and data mining creating all the possible models and warnings for the leader of the company to take best fit decisions as per the given problem statement.

Memristor based Relaxation Oscillator for Biomedical applications 生物医学应用的基于忆阻器的松弛振荡器

It is well known and must be appreciated that various organs in the human body such as the nervous system and heart work at very low frequency. Therefore it becomes necessary that whenever these organs have to be treated to cure certain diseases, the machinery used should also work at the same minute frequency. This crucial requirement is achieved by using low-frequency oscillators to provide clock pulses in the circuitry of the machines. One such widely used oscillator is relaxation oscillator. Though this oscillator provides low frequencies up to the certain range, the circuit size and power consumption have to be compromised for the lower frequencies. In this paper, we consider a typical relaxation oscillator generating a frequency of 454.54Hz. We go on replacing the resistors in all possible combinations (around 7) to generate a frequency in the band of 250Hz to 750Hz. we design, simulate and prove that memristor-based relaxation oscillators [MERO] provide lower frequencies with lower delay along with compact circuit size and low power consumption.

RTL Design for Time Efficient DDR3 Memory Interfaced with RTG4 FPGA 时效性DDR3存储器与RTG4 FPGA接口的RTL设计

The new age of remote detecting instrument typically creates a gigantic measure of information, which must be transmitted to the earth station for handling. In this paper, a RTL Design is proposed in Libero SP3 Microsemi Software for data processing. This design contains FDDR memory controller of DDR3 memory of RTG4 FPGA. The interfacing of memory controller and user module is done by AXI (Advanced eXtensible Interface) Bus having 64 bit data-bus and 32 bit address-bus. Input data frequency is 160MHz and the output data rate is 320Mbps as in DDR3 memory data transfer done in burst format and also in both the clock edges. The proposed design is synthesizable and also verified with simulation result in Microsemi ModelSim Pro. From result it is analyzed that the read time is reduced by 46% then write time.

In most of the iris identification systems, the complete image constraints are understood. These Constrain include near-infrared (NIR) illumination to release the iris texture and close distance from the capturing device. In recent advances to different illumination technologies introduced in images captured in the environment. This environment includes a visible wavelength (VW) light source at-a-distance over the close distance from the capturing device. For accurate Iris identification at-a-distance, eye images require improvement of effective strategies. By using implementation of iris-identification-at-a-distance (IAAD) systems. For feature extraction technique for NIR and VW images were taken under uncontrolled environment. For the identification of iris accuracy on the publicly available databases proposed in comparison to the contemporary.

IoT Based Smart Gas Management System 基于物联网的智能燃气管理系统

The problem of gas leakage and fire is often encountered in our day-to-day life. LPG, Liquified Petroleum Gas, is highly flammable gas used as fuel in heating appliances. Leakage of this gas raises the risk of building fire, suffocation or an explosion. The mentioned problem can be solved with the development of reliable techniques to detect gas leakage. As soon as gas leakage will be detected, user will be notified via SMS and call so that he/she can turn off gas valve from anywhere in his work place. The issue of flame and fire at kitchen can be monitored with the help of fire sensor. The buzzer starts beeping whenever fire is detected. In addition to these, it is often found that a person forgets to book gas cylinder due to his/her busy schedule. The main aim of this paper is to design an IOT based Smart Gas Management System that will be able to detect gas leakage and fire. With the help of load sensor, automatic booking of a gas cylinder is also facilitated. Notification is sent to the booking agency to book a gas cylinder whenever load cell detects that the weight of gas cylinder has reached below a threshold value. At the same time, user will be notified about gas cylinder going empty.

Artery and Vein classification for hypertensive retinopathy 高血压视网膜病变的动静脉分型

Hypertensive Retinopathy (HR) is one of the most common retinal diseases. Hypertension diversely affects different body parts, including the eyes. Sustained hypertension can lead to damage in the retinal vasculature causing vision problems, this condition is termed as Hypertensive Retinopathy (HR). Since HR is a common condition associated with several Cardio-Vascular Diseases (CVD), automated diagnosis of HR can aid the physician when dealing with a large population. Classification of retinal vessels is the first step in characterizing retinal disorders such as HR. In this work, we have proposed an automated support system for classification of arteries and veins (AV) for HR detection. The proposed framework classifies AV using different feature vectors obtained through Radon vessel tracking algorithm. The features are extracted from publicly available standard dataset DRIVE. One of the main advantages of vessel tracking is that it can be further utilized for detecting Artery Vein Ratio (AVR). Classification results are acquired using three different classifiers namely SVM, NN and CNN. Experimental results show that CNN outperforms NN and SVM in AV classification for HR detection.
