Theoretical and experimental investigations of a non-linear single degree of freedom electromagnetic vibration energy harvester 非线性单自由度电磁振动能量采集器的理论与实验研究

There is an increasing need for sensors to be self-powered and hence autonomous in order to operate in remote and inaccessible locations for long periods of time. Amongst the various ambient sources of energy, mechanical vibration is a viable wasted source of energy and can be found in rotating equipment including generators, motors and compressors as well as structures including bridges. The current research deals with developing a novel non-linear single degree of freedom electromagnetic vibration energy harvester using spatial variation of the magnetic field. Initially, approximate linear methods using Laplace transforms and the linear state space methods were considered, where the magnetic field and hence the coupling coefficient were considered as constants. The linear methods were used to derive the frequency response behavior of the system and also its eigenvalues to determine the approximate resonant frequency range. This was followed by more accurate non-linear single degree of freedom electromagnetic energy harvester model simulation considering the spatial variation of the magnetic field and hence a spatially varying coupling coefficient. An experiment of the single degree-of-freedom one-direction electromagnetic vibration energy harvester (SDOF1D EMVEH) prototype was conducted for a range of frequencies to obtain the time domain data to validate against the theoretical data obtained from theoretical time domain simulation.

An improve efficiency of li-ion batteries with harmony search algorithm 一种提高锂离子电池效率的和谐搜索算法

In this paper describe a harmony search algorithm which is applied on battery. This paper, deal with the li-ion battery model with dc machine application. From modeling and simulation, the battery parameters are designed like a state of charge (SOC), battery power (P), battery current (ibat) and battery voltage (VOC). The outcomes of li ion battery are optimized using harmony search algorithm in the domestic application. The first resolution of this paper is to know the performance of this battery through experimentations test. The second aim of this paper is to detect value of battery models at different-2 iteration of harmony search algorithm. In this paper, all results are verified in MATLAB R2010a.

A study on production of bioethanol from Solanum nigrum L. fruit 龙葵果实生产生物乙醇的研究

Bioethanol is one of the best biofuel and alternate for geologically produced fuel. Bioethanol is produced by microorganisms on suitable carbohydrate sources in the absence of oxygen called anaerobic fermentation. The carbohydrate sources in waste material is very much useful in two ways, one is for the remediation of waste and another is to get high percentage of biofuel. So in the present study Solanum nigrum L. fruit - a common weed found in agricultural fields were selected to produce bioethanol from selected microorganisms. The experiment was set in two levels, in level 1 - use of cultures of Saccharomyces cerevisiae and yeast culture isolated from spoiled S. nirum L. fruits to single substrate S. nirum L. fruits. In level 2 - use of cultures of Saccharomyces cerevisiae and yeast culture isolated from spoiled S. nirum L. fruits to two separate substrates contains spoiled fruits and S. nirum L. fruits. From the above study it was observed that in level 1 experiment about 8.5% of bioethanol production was recorded and in level 2 4.3% of bioethanol was recorded. From this study it was recorded that the best suitable microorganisms in the production bioethanol is the S. cerevisiae for S. nigrum L. fruits.

Performance analysis of spiral tube solar water heater using concrete/sand absorbers for domestic use 家用混凝土/砂吸收体螺旋管太阳能热水器性能分析

This paper shows the modeling and simulation of spiral tube solar water heater by using concrete absorber. In this paper, the performance of a domestic hot water heating system with solar concrete collector is studied. Although they are less efficient, such collectors integrated with building structures are likely to be more cost effective than conventional flat-plate collectors using metallic absorber plates. A layer of galvanized iron wire mesh on either side of the PVC tubes provides the necessary reinforcement to the concrete, The top of the slab is painted black and glazed, while the back insulation is made out of autoclave cellular concrete. Theoretical study was carried out for different flow rates of water inside the spiral tube varied from 0.006 and 0.01 kg/sec. The average water temperatures of concrete and sand absorber are found as 72°C and 76°C with the same mass equivalence respectively at minimum mass flow rate. Similarly the linear characteristic on storage water temperature and outlet water temperature for both materials is estimated with respect to solar intensity. Due to the single pass arrangement spiral tube arrangement the energy stored on entire surface of absorber is utilized by flowing water. Also, theoretical analysis shows that the solar water heater with straight and serpentine tubes consumes more area than the other conventional solar water heater.

Coordination of protective relays for the protection of micro-grid 微电网保护继电保护的协调

For effective and efficient use of distributed generation (DG) for consumer at remote areas, the idea of micro-grid has been put forward. Micro-grid (MG) provides mobility to customer; dependability of conventional grid is reduced or even removed after successful implementation of DGs. The reliability can be further improved by forming mesh configuration. Since, MG is operated under grid-connected as well as islanded mode, fault current is extensively different for both the mode of operation. Hence, protection is to be provided for such distribution network is one of the most challenging tasks. Here, analysis is done on Unsymmetrical faults (i.e. L-G, L-L-G, L-L) and the behavior of relays after occurrence of faults. Out of various protective schemes, coordination of instantaneous over-current relay (IOC) and inverse definite minimum time relay (IDMT) are used for analysis under different fault conditions. After clearing of fault the system has to regain its normal operating condition. The simulation is performed using MATLAB/SIMULINK environment. Micro-turbine is used as DG.

Design of stand alone PV system for DC-micro grid 直流微电网独立式光伏系统设计

This paper provides modeling of photovoltaic (PV) panel, designing of maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control algorithm for a standalone PV based distributed generation (DG) system. A detailed mathematical model of PV panel is provided. One of the most classical MPPT (Perturb and Observe MPPT) is used to track the maximum power point of the system. SunPower PV array are considered and simulation results showcase the module characteristics and array characteristics. A detailed design technique is provided for MPPT technique and simulation are carried out with varying solar irradiance.

SunPower PV array are considered and simulation results showcase the module characteristics and array characteristics. Performance analysis of LED and florescent lamps a case study of street lightning system LED和荧光灯的性能分析——以街道照明系统为例

Now there is tremendous appeal of ensuring energy security by using the energy saving. The recent trend is using LED lightning. This paper is the performance analysis of LED and conventional florescent lamps of 22 street lightning load. From the results it can be concluded that LED have reduced power consumption about 40% less not only that capacitors used in LED drivers gives magnificently high power factor near unity. In this analysis we found the power factor improvement of 44.4%. It is also found that harmonic is very low in case of LED as compared to conventional florescent lamp.

Cascaded H-bridge multilevel PV inverter with MPPT for grid connected application 级联h桥多电平光伏逆变器与MPPT并网应用

This paper presents a three phase five level cascaded H-bridge photovoltaic inverter with MPPT for grid connected application. Interconnection of solar and grid is a most demanding topic now a days. The main purpose of this paper is to develop control strategy for cascaded H-bridge multilevel inverter with PV array as separate DC source. Modular topology helps to improve efficiency and flexibility of PV system. Used individual MPPT technique for each solar panel to extract maximum power from the solar panel and used individual control scheme of each dc link voltage. For the three phase grid connected application, there is unbalanced supplied power due to PV mismatches. To solve this problem used control scheme with modulation compensation. Simulation result is representing to verify control method. The simulation model has been developed by using MATLAB/simulink.

This paper present a power quality problems a raised by changes in weather conditions like solar radiations and the variation in the load connected with the system. These power quality problems like voltage fluctuation, voltage distortion, and harmonics at the L.T. line are generated by source and load also at the PCC. In this paper discuss the Power quality problem in presented 30.36kw PV plant and mitigation technique for it using active filters.
