Interplay of neutrino spin and three-flavour oscillations in a magnetic field
A. Popov, A. Lichkunov, A. Studenikin
We develop the approach to the problem of neutrino oscillations in a magnetic field introduced in [1] and extend it to the case of three neutrino generations. The theoretical framework suitable for computation of the Dirac neutrino spin, flavour and spin-flavour oscillations probabilities in a magnetic field is given. The closed analytic expressions for the probabilities of oscillations are obtained accounting for the normal and inverted hierarchies and the possible effect of CP violation. In general, the neutrino oscillation probabilities exhibit quite a complicated interplay of oscillations on the magnetic ωB = μνB and vacuum ωvac = Δm2 ik 4p frequencies. The obtained results are of interest in applications to neutrino oscillations under the influence of extreme astrophysical environments, for example peculiar to magnetars and supernovas, as well as in studying neutrino propagation in interstellar magnetic fields (see [2]).

Latest measurements of neutrino oscillation parameters with the T2K experiments and its future plans T2K
S. Dolan
Tokai-to-Kamioka (T2K) is a long baseline neutrino experiment which uses the proton beam at the Japan Particle Accelerator Research Centre (JPARC) to produce a beam of muon neutrinos and antineutrinos. T2K determines neutrino oscillation parameters of interest by comparing the measured neutrino rate and spectrum at a near detector complex, located at JPARC, and at SuperKamiokande, a water-Cherenkov detector, located 295 km away. T2K is currently undergoing major improvements: the JPARC neutrino beam is increasing in power, the Super-Kamiokande detector has been loaded with 0.02% of Gadolinium, enabling enhanced neutron tagging; and a significant upgrade of the ND280 near detector is scheduled for installation in 2022/23. These proceedings summarise T2K’s latest measurements of neutrino oscillations and detail some of the planned improvements, with particular focus on the upcoming near detector upgrade.

Performance of the CMS muon trigger system in proton-proton collisions at 13 TeV CMS介子触发系统在13tev质子-质子碰撞中的性能
C. Villalba
During Run 2 (covering 2015–2018) the LHC achieved a maximum instantaneous luminosity of 2 × 1034cm−2s−1 while delivering proton-proton collisions at √ B = 13 TeV. The challenge for the trigger system of the CMS experiment is to reduce the event rate from about 40 MHz to about 1 kHz. In this document, muon reconstruction and identification algorithms used during Run 2 and their improvements are presented. The new algorithms maintain the acceptance of the muon triggers at the same or even lower rate throughout the data-taking period despite the increasing number of additional proton-proton interactions in each LHC bunch crossing. We will focus on the single and double muon triggers with the lowest sustainable transverse momentum thresholds used by CMS. The efficiency is measured in a transverse momentum range from 8 to several hundred GeV.

Testing the neutrino mass generation mechanism at the future colliders
A. Das
The generation of the neutrino mass is an essential observation from the neutrino oscillation experiments. This indicates a major revision of the Standard Model which initiated with the massless neutrinos. A possible interesting scenario is the seesaw mechanism where SM gauge singlet Right Handed Neutrinos are introduced. Another interesting aspect is the extension of the SM with SU(2)L triplet fermions. Alternatively a general U(1) extension of the SM is also an interesting idea which involves three generations of the SM singlet RHNs to generate the tiny neutrino mass through the seesaw mechanism. Additionally such models can contain a / ′ boson which could be tested at the colliders through the pair production of the RHNs.

Precise predictions of the mass of the discovered Higgs boson in supersymmetric scenarios
H. Rzehak, H. Bahl, Nick Murphy
The mass of the discovered Higgs boson is one of its most precisely measured properties with an experimental accuracy at the sub-percent level. Besides its coupling behaviour, which conforms with the prediction of the Standard Model so far, the measured Higgs mass value can place strong constraints on extensions of the Standard Model, in particular supersymmetric ones. To fully exploit this experimental accuracy, a very precise prediction of the mass of the Standard Model-like Higgs boson in the respective model is required. In these proceedings, we comment on different methods to calculate the mass and present some recent developments in the effort of improving the predictions within the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model. In particular, we consider scenarios with heavy supersymmetric partner particles but relatively light Higgs bosons with and without CP-violation.

Simulation of muon-spin rotation for estimation of magnetic field in INO-ICAL
P. Tanty, D. Samuel, Lakshmi P Murgod
The India-based Neutrino Observatory (INO) collaboration, a multi-institutional effort to build a 50 kton magnetized Iron Calorimeter (ICAL) for studying neutrino oscillations. The magnetic field in the ICAL, induced by copper coils, will be a crucial input for the track fitting algorithms that reconstruct the four-momenta of atmospheric neutrinos. The magnetic field map as estimated from finite element techniques is usually not accurate owing to many factors including approximations in the simulation and the change in the elemental composition of the iron plates, etc. In this work, we present the results of a simulation study that employs the muon spin-rotation technique to estimate the magnetic field.

A simple solution to the LSND, MiniBooNE and muon $g-2$ anomalies LSND, MiniBooNE和μ子$g-2$异常的简单解决方案

In a simple extension of the Standard Model (SM) with a second Higgs doublet and a dark singlet scalar, we are able to: (i) explain the MiniBooNE (MB) and Liquid Scintillator Neutrino Detector (LSND) anomalies while remaining compatible with the KARMEN null result, (ii) in the process, obtain a portal to the dark sector, and (iii) account comfortably for the observed value of (6 − 2)`. Three SM singlet neutrinos allow for explaining non-zero neutrino masses via a seesaw Type-I mechanism, with the lighter two states participating in the LSND and MB interactions.
