Recently, the echo state networks (ESNs) have been widely studied. In an ESN, the input weights and internal weights of reservoir are fixed after initialization, only the output weight matrix needs to be optimized. To calculate the output weights of ESN, the particle swarm optimization algorithm (PSO) with hybrid topology is proposed. The structure of the proposed PSO is mixed with regular network with strong exploration ability and scale-free network with good exploration ability. Simulation results show that the proposed ESN has good prediction performance than the traditional ESN.

In wireless power transfer (WPT) system, the structure of coils can affect the power and efficiency performance of WPT system. In this paper, transmission coils with different structures is designed and analyzed in magnetically coupled resonant WPT system. An eight-Figure coil structure is designed. Moreover, an array is built by two eight-Figure coils. The system is simulated under the same magnetic excitation. Finite element method is used to simulate transmitting coils to obtain the distribution of magnetic fields. The current and voltage of eight-Figure coil WPT system are analyzed in the case that receiver shifts from middle axis. The current and voltage of from 50 mm and 200 mm above transmitting coil under the same excitation are compared. The results show that eight-Figure coil is able to relieve coil misalignment issue in WPT system. Moreover, coil array can reduce the influence of the radial offset to entire WPT system.

The insufficient accuracy of GPS technology leads to the sampling trajectory data being away from the actual road. In order to improve the accuracy of GPS trajectory data for matching to map, a map matching integration algorithm based on historical trajectory data is proposed. Firstly projection distance and hidden Markov model are used respectively to compare the matching results. Then the difference road segments are found and the DBSCAN algorithm is used to cluster the historical trajectory data to adjust the segments. Our experiment uses the truck trajectory data to test the algorithm. The results show that the map matching integration algorithm effectively improves the accuracy of map matching.

Graph-based semi-supervised learning has become one of the most important research areas in machine learning and artificial intelligence community. In this paper, we propose a Capped l2,1 -Norm Regularization model for graph based semi-supervised learning (SSL). The new proposed model is aims to fully train the classification function by utilizing all the data points as well as handle the out-of-sample extension for new-coming data points. In addition, in order to enhance the robustness to the outliers, we leverage the capped l2,1 -norm as the loss function for the classification model. The capped l2,1 norm can suppress the bias of outliers that are far away from the normal data distribution. Simulation results show that the proposed method can achieve better performance compared with other state-of-the-art graph based SSL methods.

Arising from the rapid development of the sharing system, this paper proposed a three-player game model that considers government, enterprises, and consumers as the main body. Meanwhile, we carried out equilibrium analysis for each player in the model to maximize their profits. We found that enterprise decision-making is a key factor in the profit of the government and consumers, while consumer’s profit is only positively related to his own decision-making. Results show that there exists no pure NE, all players only could decide their participation rates according to others’ probability of participation. Finally, the case implied that the (non-regulation, maintenance, non-supervision) maybe an optimal mixed strategy to maximize all the players’ profits.

In this work, based on the dataset released by the Bing Maps team, we investigate the statistical properties of 120 million buildings. The areas of each building have been derived. We investigate the distribution of build area in the 50 states and find that it follows a Weibull distribution. Then, the statistical properties of the number of edges of each building have been analyzed. Results show that there exists a power-law distribution. Finally, we construct a community network from this dataset and investigate the properties.

This work investigates the synchronization problems of a two-layered network, where the involved nodes are of delay nonlinearity. By using a generalized delay differential inequality, some sufficient conditions are established for reaching synchronization between the two layers. It is revealed that when the inter-layer coupling strength is time-varying, the time average of the smallest eigenvalue of an induced matrix plays a key role in reaching synchronization. Meanwhile, the largest admissible delay is also estimated. Numerical examples are also given to demonstrate the validity of the theoretical results.

We extend the previously presented two-path interference compensation method for pulsed Time-of-Flight (ToF) cameras to three or more paths. By generalizing the model of multipath effect, we transform the measured vector consisting of multiple light periods to make it sparse and apply the L1 norm regularization algorithm to estimate the depth of the main path component. In theory, the combination of any number of components can be separated. Due to the experimental conditions, we validate the proposed method in the three-path scene. Experiments show that the components are effectively separated.
