Mass Media and Islamic Religious Propagation (Da’wah) in Kyrgyzstan 吉尔吉斯斯坦的大众传媒和伊斯兰宗教传播(Da 'wah)

The contemporary religious calling has gradually adopted technology because the audience it tries to attract is highly preoccupied with technology, which has become an essential facilitator of communication. Muslim preachers have gradually, but successfully, pushed the media to the frontline as an important tool. This paper examines the use of the mass media for da‘wah in Kyrgyzstan. Although the conventional face-to-face interaction is the dominant mode of da‘wah, the Islamic organizations are also aware of the impact of the mass media on ‘evangelism.’ Nonetheless, the financial implications of the broadcast media diverts many da‘wah groups to the print media (i.e. newspaper, magazine, books) and more importantly, the internet. Therefore, we conclude that, although the Kyrgyz mass media is, undoubtedly, perceived as capable of influencing the people’s minds, the desire and expertise for exploiting the broadcast media is not deep among the da‘wah experts in the country. Therefore, we recommended that they make effective use of these media for da‘wah.

The first source for explaining the rules of Sharia is the Qur'an and the second is Hadith. Both of these sources of Sharia’s are proven by revelation from Allah Almighty. When these two are proved by revelation, there is no contradiction between them۔ if the hadith is a prophetic argument in mentioning and explaining the Sharia’s rules, then from the point of view of reasoning, both Kitab and Sunnah are equal and there is no difference between them. The other cannot be rejected on the basis of the presence of one, but the two co-operate in explaining the details of the sharia. Ibn Hazm also considers them to be equal in reasoning. Both of these are Sharia’s texts and the level of consensus is after them. Proves to be the argument. Imam Ibn Hazm claims that the texts never contradict each other, but if there is an apparent contradiction between them, then there are four ways to resolve the contradiction.

کتاب وسنت سے قرائن کی حجیت کے دلائل کا جا ئزہ

Circumstantial evidence holds great importance in this age. Islam too, has given special importance to circumstantial evidence. If no evidence is found, the decision can be made in the light of circumstantial evidence if the case is not related to, Hadood and Qisas. Sometime circumstantial evidence supports and strengthens other available evidence.Since Quran & Sunnah have not denied the circumstantial evidence and its authenticity exists in our Sharia also .Trust in circumstantial evidence and apparent marks is obligatory because it ensure Justice to the victim, and the orders or not delayed and people get their rights in this regard the example of Holy Prophet (SAW) is enough when he said  emergence of the menstruation blood is the symbol of an empty uterus and that woman is impregnate this commandment has been described as the end of iddat duration. The sexual intercourse has also been made forbidden and after that wedlock has been declared lawful .This is the best proof to justify circumstantial evidence and a clear example of action based on circumstantial evidence.

The practical difficulties in the implementation of Islamic rules and regulations in modern times are mostly faced in the field of law, trade and finance. If a person wants to make a transaction, it is necessary for him to establish a relationship with the bank. That is why the involvement of the bank in our life has increased so much that it is not easy to ignore it nowadays. It is almost impossible to imagine an economic system without bank. Interest is an integral part of the traditional banking system which had a negative impact on the economic system in every age. For the past few decades, the biggest challenge for the Muslim world has been to reform various financial institutions including Islamic Bank in order to bring them in line with Islamic law. This research paper aims to identify the nature, causes and conditions of problems faced by Islamic banking system and their solutions. The Analytical research methodology has been adopted in this study with qaulitative approach.The study perceives that the causes and conditions of the subject matter will be helpful for contemporary scholars in order to solve the challenges of Islamic banking.This article will first introduce the definition Islamic banking system and its main duties then the problems facing Islamic banking and their solutions will be presented

Islam recognizes the notion of personal rights of the individuals including the right of ownership, possession and property. Islam also identifies the individual’s rights to function individualistically. Therefore the efforts made for promoting intellectual rights can be considered a legitimate and recognized personal right. The notion of intellectual property is not unfamiliar to the Islamic regulation of property but it is an essential portion of it. Wide-ranging doctrines derived from the foundations of Islamic law and defined by Muslim jurists have directly protected it as a legal property. Intellectual property rights are indispensable to human creativity. Many laws have been enacted to protect intellectual property rights by creating awareness among the individuals about the intellectual property rights at national and international level. This research presents various viewpoints of Islamic scholars on intellectual property rights by highlighting the extent of these intellectual property rights. It also explores the endeavors being made at national and international level to raise awareness about various intellectual property rights including trademark, copyright and patent, which facilitate innovators to acquire acknowledgment or monetary advantages from their innovations. The basic aim of this research is to portrait a general idea of the endeavors made by numerous international organizations, countries and bodies including World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR), Paris Convention, Protection Industrial Property, Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works and World Trade Organization (WTO) for protecting the intellectual property rights. This study also explores the efforts made by Pakistan to enact laws for intellectual property rights by issuing various ordinances including Patents Ordinance 2000, Trade Marks Ordinance, 2001, Copyright Ordinance 1962. The Intellectual Property Organization-IPO was also as an autonomous body in 2005 under the administrative control of the Cabinet Division for integrated and efficient intellectual property management in Pakistan. Results, recommendations are presented at the end.

مسلمانان برصغیر کے سیاسی شعور کی بیداری میں سید نعیم الدین مرادآبادی کا کردار:تجزیاتی مطالعہ

                       After the war of independence in 1857, the Muslims fell into the trench of decay and collapse. The menace of English rule and Hindu majority was a big threat to the Muslim existence. Since the inception of British rule, the Muslims were in an endeavor to preserve their identity. For this objective many Muslim leaders had to bear the hardships. After a long struggle Muslims were able to establish a separate homeland for their existence. It was possible not only through political movement but also through education and religious motivation. For this purpose many political and religious leaders played their role effectively. Syed Na‘īm Al-Dīn Murādabādi’s was one among such personalities. His services are multidimensional. He not only organized the Muslims of Sub continent but also presented his Two Nation theory and the idea of separate homeland for the Musilms long before ‘Allāma Dr. Muhammad Iqbāl. He also tried to provide the new born country Pakistan legal bases to run the state affairs. This article is an endeavor to highlight his services rendered in political sphere of the Subcontinent.

Analysis of the Status of Muslim Women in Islam in the two Decades from the Western Lens and Media 从西方镜头和媒体看伊斯兰教中穆斯林妇女二十年的地位

Following sound knowledge and a better understanding of women's issues from the grassroots level could be a great source of policy-making, particularly on women empowerment. In addition, women’s studies could be a potential means of effecting a positive change toward building a better society. Women’s studies play a pivotal role in the attainment of societal progress and human development. Media can be used to navigate the impact of the negative portrayal of Muslim women in societies across the globe. Thus, under the lens of print and non-print media, numerous Oriental researchers had been examining the plight of Muslim women to unveil their status and the active role they play in societies. This research explores the previous research on issues and experiences of Muslim women geared towards creating a positive attitude and better perspective on Muslim women. Since the year 2000, there had been a great development of research and studies which focused on Muslim women from different perspectives. Hence, there is a need to review the related literature on Muslim women due to its important role in presenting the various identities, and the role of Muslim women in societies across the world.

In this paper, the thoughts of Allama Muhammad Iqbāl and Maulana Ḥussain Ahmad Madanī related to nationality, patriotism and national state have been discussed and their critical evaluation has been done. Europe was the initiator of the political innovation of nationalism and patriotism in the nineteenth century and it is an effective political weapon in the world. As a result, many national-states came into existence, the Muslim caliphate ended and the unity of Muslims was fragmented. Allama Iqbāl visualized this political consiperacy of Europe timely. He considered it allarming for Muslim ummah. He warned all the Muslims against the Western intrigues and political tantacles. It can be concluded that Allama Iqbāl gave the Muslims of the subcontinent the dream of a separate homeland and he was active in practical politics for it. But Maulana Ḥussain Ahmad Madanī was against the separate Muslim State and had the opinon that India was their homeland and all those who lived in it were one nation. They would not allow the homeland and the nation to be divided.

The economic system of Islām is free from all evils. The means of livelihood and necessities of life were very simple and easy in simple times. Islām is a religion that urges its followers to earn ḥalāl sustenance. Islām makes luxurious life deadly for human beings. There is absolutely no room for corporate culture in the Islamic economic system. These two systems are very different. There is no similarity between them. If interest is included, then there is no difference between capitalism and Islām. However, Islām and corporate culture are as far apart as Islām and the Islamic economic system in communism is free from all the vices that are an integral part of the corporate culture. The economic system of Islām is transparent and free from all arrogance while the corporate culture is opposite that.

The 19th century has great significance in western society because the trend of Seerah Writing became very favored whereas ideological span remained present between Islam and the West. It is obvious that every religious community showed keen interest in“The personality of Prophet Muhammad(SAW)” in every age. Orientalists are also accustomed to studying the Muslim divine literature. In the beginning of the 17th century, Orientalist Movement worked on a new scholastic strategy through the transmutation and exegesis of Islamic Literature. Their "Empirical Method of research", "Logicalness" and Scientific Experimental way of Analysis have generated doubts and reservations in all Islamic literature, especially in Seerah literature. A prolonged series of "Dante (1265-1321)", "Roger of Wendover (date of death 1236)", "Matthew Paris (1200-1259)", "Martin Luther (1483-1546)", "Ramond Lull (1232-1315)", "Simon Oakley (1678-1720)" has been lasting till the present age. And the Seerah Writing of William Muir (1819-1905), Mont Gomery Watt (1909-2006), Karen Armstrong (date of birth 1944), and Michael Cook (date of birth 1940) also emerged with new phraseology having much influence on a modern man about Seerah literature. In the 19th, century, the western trend of “Seerah writing”has been completely changed. Research methodology and Civilized manners in writing have been noted by the western scholar. As well as concealment of historical truth and distortion the historical events also became the cause of hatred between Islam and the West. There is a great need to reckon with the western Seerah writings in the present age. The question is how to bring actual and auspicious teachings of the "Holy Prophet (peace be upon him)" before the world and how it will be helpful to abolish abhorrence about Islam and The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him)?
