The evidence obtained supports referring women with ovarian amenorrhea and gonadal dysgenesis to a high-risk group for atherosclerosis and cardiovascular diseases. This fact dictates inclusion of the diagnosis of atherogenic dyslipoproteinemia into the complex of check-up measures for women with early nonoperative ovarian amenorrhea as well as prophylaxis of cardiovascular disorders.

Creatine kinase (CK) activity was assessed in the direct and reverse tests and CK isoenzymes in agar gel for 41 patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). With growing activity of the process, there was a decline of CK activity in the reverse test though in the direct test this activity was scarcely changeable allowing a shift to predominance of the direct response. Significant differences were found in CK reverse reaction which correlated with SLE activity and pattern. The more active the disease, the less content of CK-1 and CK-3 isoenzymes. Investigations of CK activity and isoenzymes during SLE treatment help objectivize the clinical control.

The study was performed to evaluate the levels of some enzymes (AST, ALT, HGTP, LDG) and free amino acids (aspartic, glutaminic, glycine, isoleucine, leucine) in liquor of 37 subjects who got poisoned with a Malathion insecticide. Their condition was diagnosed as moderate and severe. The liquor was obtained on poisoning day 1, 3, 10, 14 and 21. The liquor levels of enhancement mediatory amino acids, aspartic and glutaminic, rise early in poisoning, while concentration of inhibition mediator glycine tends to decline. Progress of intoxication brings about a rise in LDG and GGTP activity attributed to a membranotoxic effect of the insecticide.

Changes in activity of sympathetic-adrenal and + renin-angiotensin-aldosterone systems (SAS and RAAS), hemodynamics and electrolyte metabolism when correcting sodium balance in consideration of their "salt sensitivity" were studied in 83 hypertension stage I and II patients. In moderate restriction of sodium chloride response of the patients was not uniform. "Salt--sensitive" subjects responded positively with improvement of central and peripheral hemodynamics, electrolyte balance in enhanced activity of SAS and RAAS. In salt nonresponders and in paradoxical sensitivity SAS and RAAS show activation, most distinct in paradoxical sensitivity, and worse central and peripheral hemodynamics, electrolyte imbalance.
