UAV Detection Using the Cepstral Feature with Logistic Regression 基于倒谱特征和逻辑回归的无人机检测

The unmanned aerial vehicle system has been employed in various aspects, but the need for anti-unmanned aerial vehicle system technology is emerging due to privacy violation and bypass of a security system. In this paper, we propose a detection algorithm for an unmanned aerial vehicle system using acoustic sensors. The learned detection model is employed for the acoustic signal of the unmanned aerial vehicle system to obtain higher recognition performance. The cepstrum of the acoustic signal sampled during operation of the unmanned aerial vehicle system is applied to the feature vector and the logistic regression model is developed for the detection model. The learned model is verified through ten arbitrary cross-validations. The detection error for verification data is about 17.48%.

A Comparative Study of Off-Line Deep Learning Based Network Intrusion Detection 基于离线深度学习的网络入侵检测比较研究

Network intrusion detection systems (NIDS) are essential security building-blocks for today's organizations to ensure safe and trusted communication of information. In this paper, we study the feasibility of off-line deep learning based NIDSes by constructing the detection engine with multiple advanced deep learning models and conducting a quantitative and comparative evaluation of those models. We first introduce the general deep learning methodology and its potential implication on the network intrusion detection problem. We then review multiple machine learning solutions to two network intrusion detection tasks (NSL-KDD and UNSW-NB15 datasets). We develop a TensorFlow-based deep learning library, called NetLearner, and implement a handful of cutting-edge deep learning models for NIDS. Finally, we conduct a quantitative and comparative performance evaluation of those models using NetLearner.

Detecting Selfish Backoff Attack in IEEE 802.15.4 CSMA/CA Using Logistic Classification 基于Logistic分类的IEEE 802.15.4 CSMA/CA中自私回退攻击检测

This paper discussed about the detection of random access attack in IEEE 802.15.4 wireless networks. In IEEE 802.15.4, the medium access control mechanism is designed based on carrier sensing multiple access with collision avoidance (CSMA/CA) with exponential backoff. When an IEEE 802.15.4 device has very small backoff, it takes higher priority to get the channel compared to the other conventional IEEE 802.15.4 devices. This obviously degrades the network throughput performance of normal IEEE 802.15.4 devices. This paper presents the analysis of the impacts and proposes the method for detecting the malicious selfish backoff attacker via logistic classification.

Performance Analysis of WAVE Communication for Emergency Broadcasting in Metro Environments 城域环境下应急广播WAVE通信性能分析

Recently, subway trains running underground have become an issue of passengers inconvenience and safety due to the failure of announcements in emergencies such as breakdown, train accidents and power outage in tunnels. Thus, there is a need to develop an emergency broadcasting system that can provide announcements to all passenger cars in any emergency on the railway route. WAVE communication technology based on IEEE 802.11p standard using 5.9GHz dedicated frequency band enables direct communication between terminals more than 200m without additional relay infrastructure. Especially, it is considered to be a suitable communication technology for the emergency broadcasting system of the urban subway, showing robust communication performance even in the tunnel areal [1]. In this paper, the applicability of various wireless communication technologies for the emergency broadcasting system through the measurement campaign was examined in Seoul metropolitan subway. The WAVE is a communication technology that can use 5.9GHz dedicated frequency band without charge and it is possible to communicate between terminals without the help of additional relay infrastructure. Especially, it confirms robust communication performance in a tunnel which is an operating environment of urban subway, and therefore, it is considered to be suitable as a communication method of a radio-connected emergency broadcasting system for an urban subway. It is also expected that it will be possible to develop the emergency broadcasting system capable of safe evacuation and emergency guidance to passengers using urban subway in any emergencies. Impact of SC-FDMA and Pilots on PAPR and Performance of Power Domain NOMA-UFMC System SC-FDMA和导频对功率域NOMA-UFMC系统PAPR和性能的影响

Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) is envisioned as promising 5G multiple access technology due to its throughput gain achieved through grouping mobile nodes having substantial difference in channel conditions and capability to serve large number of users simultaneously at same time, frequency, or code, but with different power levels. Furthermore, modifications in OFDM waveform for relaxed synchronization and supporting short burst communications for Internet of Things (IoT) devices has paved the way for Universal Filtered Multi-Carrier (UFMC) waveform. However, a major disadvantage in deployment of Non-Orthogonal UFMC is the high Peak-to-Average-Power-Ratio (PAPR) being comparable to that of OFDMA. As such, additional PAPR reduction techniques are required for reducing the dynamic range of power amplifier deployed in communication system. We take up Power Domain NOMA (PD-NOMA) in which available power is sliced between users and investigate the performance of SC-FDMA for PD-NOMA UFMC systems for PAPR reduction. UFMC is known to provide additional diversity to transmitter in uplink and facilitates relaxed synchronization at the receiver side in downlink scenario. Simulation results show that in flat-fading scenario, BER performance of proposed system is found to be significantly better than OFDM and UFMC. However, BER performance of proposed system in AWGN channel is seen to be traded off as the extent of SC-FDMA precoding increases. Also, increasing pilots per subband leads to increased PAPR with OFDM, UFMC whereas SC-FDMA for PD-NOMA UFMC system shows stagnation and significant comparative reduction in PAPR values.

Performance Improvement of Optical Satellite Communications by Interleaved IEEE 802.11 LDPC 基于ieee802.11 LDPC的交错光卫星通信性能改进

Optical wireless communication using a laser is a strong candidate for the next generation satellite communications due to its large bandwidth. However, the channel environment of satellite communications is very tough, suffering from fading by atmospheric turbulence. Therefore, a powerful channel coding such as low-density parity check (LDPC) code is required for error correction. In this paper, the performance of a LDPC code is evaluated in this harsh channel environment. At the same time, in order to improve the system performance further, an interleaving method in combination with a LDPC code is used to overcome the burst error problem, which frequently occurs in optical satellite communication systems (OSC). Simulation results show that 970 consecutive burst error bits can be recovered by using a large size LDPC code and the proposed type of interleaving.

Monitoring of IoT Data for Reducing Network Traffic 监控物联网数据,减少网络流量

As IoT systems spread a huge amount of data is generated from devices in every second. Transmission of all the IoT data to the remote OM(Operation and Management) server through the Internet may cause network traffic problems. In the paper we propose an architecture of a monitoring node that uses the data pattern and monitors sensor data from IoT devices so as to reduce network traffic and OM server's workload in IoT system environment. The monitoring node reports to the OM server only the data beyond the normal range of the pattern rather than sending all data to the OM server.

In the paper we propose an architecture of a monitoring node that uses the data pattern and monitors sensor data from IoT devices so as to reduce network traffic and OM server's workload in IoT system environment. Delay Analysis of Fixed Multi-Thread Algorithm for DBA in Long Reach PON 长距离PON中DBA固定多线程算法的延迟分析

Long-Reach PON (LR-PON) is a broadband access network using passive optical network (PON) technology which the reach is extended to 100 km or higher. A major challenge in LR-PON is that the propagation delay between OLT and ONUs is increased by a very significant amount. We analyze the delay performance of fixed multi-thread algorithm, which is simple and efficient, for dynamic bandwidth allocation in long reach PON. Especially, the average packet delay of the expedited forwarding (EF) traffic class is analyzed. This performance analysis reveals that fixed multi-thread algorithm for DBA in long reach PON provides predictable packet delay and improved jitter performance for the EF traffic class without the influence of load variations.

A sign language glove aims to help the hearing-impaired people to eliminate the boundary and communicate with other people even without knowledge in Sign Language. Applying Machine Learning in hand gesture recognition provides a smarter means of conveying information with high accuracy.

Compatibility of Heterogeneous Devices Based on 2.5GBase-T 基于2.5GBase-T的异构设备兼容性研究

This paper proposes a technology that provides automatic link options for mutual compatibility among devices from different chip vendors. Many different vendors manufacture chips, which often require interconnections with existing Internet services, and the different data transmission environments limit the connectivity between devices. Consequently, the Internet quality of service drops below the standard expected by subscribers. The proposed technology secures a compatibility between devices related to high-speed data transmission. More specifically, even when devices that are inter-connected via cables are in different data transmission environments, at least one optimized link connection is set up between devices to ensure compatibility between new and existing devices.
