Probabilistic analysis of wind turbine planning using continuous genetic algorithm in distribution systems 基于连续遗传算法的配电网风电机组规划概率分析

This paper presents a wind turbine planning problem through generating the different possible scenarios in order to reduce the annual costs of the distribution system. Since the wind turbines output power has a high dependency in wind speed, and the wind speed has an intermittent nature, so modeling of these units is an interesting issue in distribution system studies. This paper considers a specific Rayleigh distribution function for the wind speed in each hour and the different possible scenarios of wind turbine generation with the related probabilities are determined for each hour. Finally the appropriate size and site of the wind turbines is calculated based on all of the defined scenarios. The presented problem is applied on a 9 bus test distribution system using continuous genetic algorithm.

Using IHBMO method for fuzzy stochastic long-term model with considered uncertainties for deployment of Distributed Energy Resources 采用IHBMO方法求解考虑不确定性的模糊随机长期模型

This paper presents a new modified Interactive Honey Bee Mating Optimization (IHBMO) base fuzzy stochastic long term approach for determining optimum location and size of Distributed Energy Resources (DERs). The Monte Carlo simulation method is used to model the uncertainties associated with long-term load forecasting. A proper combination of several objectives is considered in the objective function. Reduction of loss and power purchased from the electricity market, loss reduction in peak load level and reduction in voltage deviation are considered simultaneously as the objective functions. At first these objectives are fuzzified and designed to be comparable with each other and then they are introduced to a IHBMO algorithm in order to obtain the solution which maximizes the value of integrated objective function. The output power of DERs is scheduled for each load level. An enhanced economic model is also proposed to justify investment on DER. IEEE 30-bus radial distribution test system is used as an illustrative example to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

A novel out-of-step relay using wide area measurements 采用广域测量的新型失步继电器

This paper proposes a new method for Out-of-Step (OOS) backup protection based on wide area measurements and discrete wavelet transform. The generators synchronized voltage and current phasors are transferred to Phasor Data Concentrator (PDC) center by means of Phasor Measurement Units (PMU). In PDC, the transmitted voltage and current signals are decomposed separately, at some levels, with a predefined Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT). The retained energy in some decomposition levels of voltage and current signals is extracted and compared in an Energy V-I Plane, which reveals the generator instability. The algorithm is simulated on a Single-Machine-Infinite-Bus (SMIB) system, which obtained results show the efficiency and performance of the proposed algorithm as a backup protection for conventional OOS relays.

Investigating the performance of technical indicators in electrical industry in Tehran's Stock Exchange using hybrid methods of SRA, PCA and Neural Networks 利用SRA、PCA和神经网络的混合方法研究了德黑兰证券交易所电气行业技术指标的表现

According to high application of electrical industry in different industrial branches, generation and distribution of power energy is one of the most challenges of countries. The next step is its appropriate and qualified distribution after generation of electricity in powerhouses. Hence, this paper investigates the efficiency of cable companies in Tehrans Stock Exchange (TSE) according to key effects of providers in power distribution generation. Prediction price indicator movement has always been a challenging task in the exploitation of time series for forecasting. Exact prediction of price indicator movement may offer numerous privileges for investors. As a result of the complexity of stock market data, development of efficient models is often not simple. This research have combined a number of methods namely as Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Stepwise Regression Analysis (SRA) and Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) by technical analysis tools of financial markets. In proceeding, the efficiency of each set in predicting the indicator trend of stocks' total price, have been compared. Data used in this research have been collected from cable companies in the stock exchange between 2007 and 2013. Using empirical results, this research introduces an efficient set of technical indicators for forecasting total price indicator movement in cable companies in TSE. Other results of this research indicate more accuracy of SRA and neural networks in comparison with PCA and neural networks.

Causality analysis between electricity consumption and real GDP, GDP based on Purchasing Power Parity, government spending, and total national savings in Iran 伊朗电力消耗与实际GDP、基于购买力平价的GDP、政府支出和国民储蓄总量之间的因果关系分析

This paper investigates the Granger causality between Electricity consumption per capita (ECC) and real GDP per capita, GDP based on Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) per capita, government spending, and total national savings. The data period is from 1980 to 2010. The results of the Stationary test show that all variables are integrated to an order of one. ECC and real GDP per capita, GDP based on PPP per capita, and government spending are not cointegrated and there is no long run relationship between them and for examining the causality nexus the Vector Auto Regression model (VAR) is applied. On the other hand, ECC and total national savings are cointegrated so the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) is used for causality analysis. The results of the Granger causality test indicate that GDP based on PPP per capita granger causes the ECC. Since GDP based on PPP is a comparative measure of standard of living, it can be concluded that when the relative standard of living in Iran improves, ECC increases as well. However, PPP figures are estimates rather than hard facts, and should be used with caution.

Comparison of conventional and resonant boost converters for grid-connected solar systems 并网太阳能系统常规升压变换器与谐振升压变换器的比较

In photovoltaic sources, operating current and voltage, due to variable environmental conditions, will change. Since the operating point can maximize output power, one approach to use a maximum power point tracking seems to be necessary. Typically MPPT algorithms are implemented on a solar system utilizing a switching power converter. The used DC-DC converter in this paper is a boost; therefore choosing an adequate topology of boost converter is very important. In this paper resonant boost converters have been compared with conventional ones.

Sensitivity analysis of 6–19 pole outer rotor configuration of FSPM generator for wind turbine application 风电用FSPM发电机6-19极外转子结构灵敏度分析

Flux Switching Permanent Magnet Machine (FSPM) is categorized as a newest type of machine which has the benefits of brushless permanent magnet (PM) and switched reluctance machine (SRM) simultaneously. The illustrious obtained characteristics from those mentioned machines such as fault tolerant capability, high torque and power density and simple structure provide a very bright future for FSPM in wind turbine power application. In this paper a thorough sensitivity analysis is presented. Firstly the simulation is carried out to achieve the best PM width in order to reduce the total cost while the proper electromagnetic performance of the machine is achieved. Secondly the stator and rotor teeth are changed with the specific step in a reasonable range in order to perfectly analysis the effect of them on electromagnetic force (EMF), output power and electromagnetic torque novel outer rotor configuration design of FSPM is proposed.

Robust control of a steam turbine power based on a precise nonlinear model 基于精密非线性模型的汽轮机动力鲁棒控制

In this paper, a precise and nonlinear model is developed for Nekka power plant turbine from its experimental data and documents. It is proposed to use boiler-turbine coordinated control system to increase effective efficiency of the steam unit. Identification procedures have been performed to obtain continuous time models of Nekka steam turbine at various loads. After determining the upper bound for uncertainty and choosing a good performance weighting function, a robust controller has been designed and implemented in closed loop for the turbine nonlinear model. Since the closed loop performance was not as required, a cascade controller structure is proposed, in which the turbine loop is closed by a PI controller in order to significantly reduce the uncertainty. Simulation results demonstrate the suitable performance of the closed loop in terms of tracking, speed of response, and damping of oscillations.
本文根据Nekka电厂汽轮机的实验数据和文献资料,建立了精确的非线性模型。为了提高机组的有效效率,提出采用锅炉-汽轮机协调控制系统。对Nekka汽轮机在不同负荷下的连续时间模型进行了识别。在确定不确定性上界和选择性能较好的加权函数后,设计并实现了水轮机非线性模型的鲁棒闭环控制。由于闭环性能不符合要求,提出了一种串级控制器结构,通过PI控制器对水轮机回路进行闭环控制,以显著降低不确定性。仿真结果表明,该闭环系统在跟踪、响应速度和抑制振荡方面具有良好的性能。

The impacts of Virtual Power Plants on multiple carrier energy networks 虚拟电厂对多载波能源网络的影响

One of the prominent reason to establish new fossil fuels power plants and transmission line expansion is growing requirements to energy. Establishing new power plants is with the increase of greenhouse gas emission and huge investment costs. Virtual Power Plants (VPPs) are considered as the effective solution to prevent fossil fuels power plant establishment and transmission lines expansion with huge investment costs. In fact, integration of Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) to electric distribution network provides a virtual plant to supply required energy in the place. On the other hand, Combined Heat and Power (CHP) is a great example of the DERs with potential of combining different energy infrastructures such as electricity and gas networks. In this paper, effects of VPPs on multiple carrier energy networks (gas and electricity) are taken into account. Simulation results demonstrate that how much energy consumptions and peak demands as well as energy costs are decreased by connection of the DERs to electric distribution network. Results demonstrate that 7% to 47% operation costs reduction as well as 16% to 76% peak reduction is as the result of establishing a VPP.

Sensor fault-tolerant control of wind turbine systems 风力发电系统的传感器容错控制

In this paper, an H∞ method based controller is designed to achieve high performance in extreme wind speed profile and tolerate possible actuator faults. This controller uses generator and rotor speed measurements and blade pitch actuator as control input. Moreover, a sliding mode fault detection and isolation (FDI) system is applied to reconstruct and compensate wind turbine's sensor faults. The controller parameters is obtained by solving a bi-linear matrix inequality. Designed controller uses the FDI output to regulate the wind turbine power in faulty condition and above rated wind speed. Closed loop performance is assessed through implementation of FDI and proposed controller, on a 5-MW benchmark wind turbine simulator, emulating realistic operation condition.
