The application of the homotopy perturbation method (HPM) in two different research's area has been proposed in this paper. First, the HPM has been used for approximate solving of the well-known implicit equation for electrostatic surface potential of MOSFET transistor. The approximate analytical solution obtained in this case has relative simple mathematical form, and simultaneously high degree of accuracy. Next, HPM has been applied in determination of the invariant measures (IMs) of the non-linear dynamical systems with chaotic behavior. The convergence and efficiency of this method have been confirmed and illustrated in some characteristic examples of chaotic mappings.

This study deals with the results of measuring the ambient dose equivalent rates conducted in test field. The impacts of temporal and weather variations (wind, precipitation, moisture, temperature) as well as spatial characteristics (rural and urban sites) on the ambient dose equivalent rate were analyzed. Mean ambient dose equivalent rate in rural site (142 nSv/h) is higher than in urban site (128 nSv/h). The reason is difference in altitude and also the difference in the local geology . Although an increasing of temperature, decreasing the moisture in air, and slowing down the wind speed during the observed period showed tendency of stability the ambient dose equivalent rate, no correlation was found between ambient dose equivalent rate and any parameter.

Here we tested plants’ ability to use iron (Fe) from the water-soluble commercial product Humiron ® (a complex of Fe with highly purified and solubilized humic acids extracted from leonardite) as a source of chelated Fe for both strategy 1 (e.g. cucumber) and strategy 2 (e.g. barley) plant species grown under low Fe conditions. Iron from radioactive 59 Fe-labelled Humiron ® can easily be acquired by strategy 1 plant species via reduction of Fe III by the inducible plasma membrane-bound reductase, similarly to the reduction of synthetic Fe III -chelates. Strategy 2 plant species can also efficiently utilize Fe from Humiron ® via ligand exchange between humates and phytosiderophores (PS). Moreover, the efficacy of Humiron ® is comparable to Fe complexed with water-extractable humic substances obtained form peat. Being easily biodegradable this product can be used as an effective Fe source for organic crop production.

Determination of Co(II) based on its catalytic effect on the reaction between 4-hydroxycoumarine and potassium permanganate, in the presence of acetate buffer was described. The method development includes optimization of the reagent concentration and temperature. Absorbance of potassium permanganate was measured at 525 nm. The calibration curve was linear in the range of 0.5 - 4 ng/cm 3 of Co(II). The relative standard deviation was in the interval 6.25-2.60 % of the concentration range of 0.6-3 ng/cm 3 Co(II), respectively. The interference effects of foreign ions were determined for the assessment of the selectivity of the method. The proposed method was found to have excellent sensitivity, relatively good selectivity and simplicity.

This work reports on results from occasional collections in many sites of Serbia in the period 2015-2018., as well as one earlier material from 1982. By more than 50 excursions, from March to October, by day and night and by light traps, a total amount of 45 selected species of Lepidoptera from 10 families were caught. A full list and description of the localities of collection, some color plates and the comment about some species apart relevant are also included.

Introduction of the Interpolation Logistic (IL) function in an approximate Surface-Potential-Based MOSFET model has been proposed in this paper. This function can be precisely determined in accordance with di ff erent MOSFET device characteristics. The IL function also provides continual behavior of the surface potential in entire useful region of MOSFET operation. Unlike the approximate analytical models which can meet in literature, continual and smooth transition of the surface potential between weak and strong inversion region here is achieved without using of any empirical parameter. Furthermore, thanks to the IL function, speed and manner of that transition are controlled. The values obtained for the surface potential are verified extensively with the numerical data, and a great agreement is found for the MOSFET devices from di ff erent technology generations.

Kosovo and Metohija have already been recognized as regions with the highest diversity of reptiles in Serbia, where 92% (22 of 24) of existing reptile species can be found (Tomović et al., 2015a). First comprehensive contribution to herpetofauna of Kosovo and Metohija was provided by late Professor Gojko Pasuljević. In this study we present a complete dataset of distribution records for 13 most common reptile species in Kosovo and Metohija, including published and new distribution data compiled, and provide standardized 10 x 10 km UTM maps for these data. Results of this study include 1013 distribution records (278 new and 735 published data) for the following reptiles: Testudo hermanni, Ablepharus kitaibelii, Anguis fragilis, Lacerta agilis, Lacerta viridis, Podarcis muralis, Podarcis tauricus, Coronella austriaca, Dolichophis caspius, Natrix natrix, Natrix tessellata, Zamenis longissimus and Vipera ammodytes. The most widely distributed species, which occupy more than 50 UTM 10 x 10 km squares are: Podarcis muralis and Vipera ammodytes. Species with limited distribution which occupy less than 20 UTM 10 x 10 km are: Dolichophis caspius and Lacerta agilis. The largest numbers of new or confirmed literature data are recorded for: Anguis fragilis, Testudo hermanni and Vipera ammodytes. Having in mind that after 50 years, this is the first comprehensive study of the distribution of reptiles in Kosovo and Metohija exclusively, the presented faunistic data are far from being complete. Further systematic studies should provide a more complete insight into the distribution of herpetofauna of this province of Serbia.

Epidermal patterns are polygenically determined system of ridges on volar surface of fingers, palms and soles. Due to their mode of inheritance, and developmental time that coincide with the most critical period of embryogenesis, they are considered as a biological marker that may provide an insight in early fetal life. This study involved 102 participants, students from the University of Priština-Kosovska Mitrovica, 51 consisting myopic and 51 control group. Analysis of fingerprint patterns has showed significantly altered dermatoglyphic configuration of arch patterns in myopic group, which might be suggestive of developmental perturbances in embryogenesis of genetically vulnerable individuals prone to development of myopia.

The town of Obrenovac is situated near the banks of three rivers, the Sava River, the Kolubara River and the Tamnava River. It looks like a modern town, though it has often developed in an unplanned manner. This causes huge problems as it thrives in a rough terrain, without a plan, which the communal infrastructure cannot follow. Today's needs in terms of spatial planning, envisaging projects and keeping track of a different kind of information on space demand that new technologies be applied since they make it possible for procuring efficient and reliable information as well as connecting and interconnecting various sorts of data. Also with advanced numerical GIS data and relief analysis we were successfully calculated consequence of the last big flood in 2014.
