This paper describes a created application which allows remote control and monitoring of technological processes using Simulink. Developed application SimWebLink.NET enables control of a real system or just a simulation. SimWebLink.NET application uses a common Web browser supporting JavaScript. The new TCP/IP block sends data from model using the TCP/IP. This new version has been completely rewritten and now uses modern techniques on Microsoft platform as Window Communication Foundation and MS SQL server instead of previous version which used open source.
本文介绍了一个利用Simulink对工艺过程进行远程控制和监控的应用程序。开发应用程序simwebblink。NET允许控制真实系统或只是模拟。SimWebLink。. NET应用程序使用支持JavaScript的通用Web浏览器。新的TCP/IP块使用TCP/IP从模型发送数据。这个新版本已经完全重写,现在在微软平台上使用现代技术,如windows Communication Foundation和MS SQL server,而不是以前使用开源的版本。

A Coloured Petri Net (CPN) based method for Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) program validation is proposed in this paper. It uses a simple fixed net structure and does not require the creation of different Petri Nets for every new PLC program. The base of the method is the so-called technology description and operation state table used in engineering practice. The CPN simulates the operation of the PLC and compares the resulted values to the desired ones. In the case of a difference it indicates the existence of an error. The method is capable of automatic program validation and safety analysis, which is demonstrated through the example of an oil tank system.

The paper is devoted to the problem of fault detection in analog electrical circuits described by linear or nonlinear polynomial models. So-called data-driven method for fault detection is considered. This method assumes that parameters of the circuit under consideration may be unknown. It does not use methods of identification and allows checking whether or not parameters of some elements deviate considerably from their nominal values.

This paper presents some applications of the techniques well known as input shaping, focused on control of flexible structures. Zero Vibration (ZV) shaper defined by a sequence of two impulses can drive a system without undesirable vibrations. Such shaper can be regarded as a time delay system with a standard lumped delay. Alternatively, though, new shapers with increased robustness and more natural response can be devoloped as described in the paper if a distributed delay element is used instead. Performance of the distributed-delay shaper is demonstrated by means of a laboratory experiment and it is compared to the standard limped-delay solution. A setup composed of a lightweight flexible beam attached to the Quanser rotating table is utilized.

Permanent change in moisture content can cause the damages of materials. Each material has different sensitivity and for the preventing of art collections of culture heritage is the knowing of equilibrium moisture content very important. The equilibrium moisture content is a function of relative humidity and temperature of surrounding air. This relationship is described by a large number of mathematical models. As the most suitable available model for the equal-sorption compensation for the preventive conservation was chosen the logarithmic Henderson model. For the predicting of equilibrium moisture content it is necessary to know the parameters of this mathematical model. This paper deals with assessing the parameters of Henderson model and design of equal-sorption humidity control.

The paper describes the key elements of the recently developed symbolic software for nonlinear control systems, based on algebraic lattice theory. The software is incorporated into the package NLControl that assists the solution of various modeling, analysis and synthesis problems and using the tools of webMathematica made available for researches having no access to Mathematica. Besides the smooth systems, the tools are also applicable to certain subclasses of non-smooth systems depending on such phenomena as saturation, friction, hysteresis and backlash.

In this paper, the problem of linearization of discrete-time nonlinear control systems by dynamic state feedback is considered. Two different methods for finding certain polynomial matrix are compared. This polynomial matrix is necessary to compute linearizing (or flat) outputs of the system. Finally, a necessary and sufficient condition to check unimodularity of certain polynomial matrices, is given.

In the paper, the robust control of temperature fields of the casting mould in the benchmark casting plant is presented. Temperature fields of the mould are represented by dynamic models in the form of a finite-dimensional approximation of distributed parameter systems. Models are created by means of an experimental identification. The control synthesis is decomposed to the time and space domain. For the control synthesis with internal model control structure in the time domain, an uncertainty of the controlled system is considered and robust controllers are designed.

This paper proposes an approach to a robust PI controller design for real uncertain Coupled-Tank process in time domain. Only the first independent tank is considered (single-input single-output system). Polytopic model of uncertain system is considered as a plant model to be controlled. Stability and performance of the closed loop system is determined through the LMI region, where the closed loop poles of whole uncertainty domain are placed. A robust stability condition based on the parameter-dependent Lyapunov function (PDLF) is used.
