THE STUDY OF POWER CHARACTERISTICS OF ADAPTIVE MAGNETIC DAMPER 自适应磁阻尼器功率特性研究

The paper deals with the problem of imbalance of a working element of high-speed technological devices, in particular, centrifugal units. The current trend in the development of technological devices is productivity improvement. The increase in the number of operating characteristics of the devices can be achieved through various ways: from the development of new types of devices and modernization of the existing ones to the improvement of frequency characteristics. Therefore, the issue of damping, which improves the reliability of technological machines, becomes more relevant in current technology. The study identified the most dangerous types of vibrations leading to the considerable damage of a working wheel. Based on the analysis of various axial vibrations influence on a working wheel, the authors proposed the way to eliminate vibrations using an adaptive damper. Axial vibration dampers working on permanent magnets have the following technical advantages over the mechanical dampers: relative high lifting capacity, high rotational speeds at high temperatures, no need for working fluid supply, etc. Magnetic dampers can operate at super high frequencies (more than 9000 r/min), therefore, it is necessary to study their work in the conditions close to limiting ones. The design adaptability is in the application of rubber-metal material, due to which the elastic force arises. The authors consider an integrated approach to damping: the force of magnetic interaction acts together with the elastic force. The aim of the paper is to determine the interrelations of key power characteristics. One of the necessary criteria of any system is its stability, which is evaluated in the paper using L.M. Lyapunov’s criterion. The paper presents the main results in the form of mathematical dependencies of a theoretical model.

CONCERNING THE MELTING OF AN ALUMINIUM ELECTRODE BY THE ARGON ARC OF STRAIGT POLARITY 关于用直极性氩弧熔化铝电极

: This paper gives the information analysis on the ratio of the melting rate of electrode wire on welding arcs of direct and reverse polarity in СО 2 . At equal currents, the melting rate on direct polarity arc is about two times higher than the melting rate on reverse polarity arc. When welding in shielding gases, the reason to refuse the use of direct polarity arc is the low melting rate stability of the electrode wire. It is caused by the intense moving of arc cathode spot affected by the emissivity change of the electrode surface. Within the scope of this paper, the authors propose a calculation method for arc power transmitted to a consumable aluminum electr ode on various polarities. The calculated specific power (per 1 А of the current) is significantly higher for electrode-cathode, and when step-up the current, the power increases more inten-sively than for anode. The experiment determined the melting rate of aluminum electrode wire of 1.2 mm diameter for direct polarity arc in argon. It is as well about two times higher than for reverse polarity. Within the limits of 80– 180 А currents on the arc direct polarity, there was not defined any significant dependence between the melting ratio of aluminum wire and arc current. The calculation method ensures good convergence of designed and experimental data on the ratio of electrode melting rates on different polarities. The formulas obtained allowed evaluating the effective arc power in argon for aluminum products. Further researches are to be aimed at defining the stability conditions of the melting rate of electrode wire on direct polarity arc in shielding gases. It is especially necessary for welding of heavy thickness parts to reach more efficient filling of edge preparation.

: Carbon dioxide corrosion is one of the most common reasons for the failure of oil-production equipment. This issue is very urgent for the Russian Federation where the carbon dioxide content is high in the oilfield medium of the most production fields. The paper deals with the obtaining of information on the basic issues of development of tube steels resistant to the carbon dioxide corrosion: the type and the level of alloying of steels reducing carbon dioxide corrosion lower than 0.2 mm per year; the influence of high content of corrosive H 2 S and Cl - components in the carbon dioxide medium on the mecha-nism and kinetics of corrosion failure. To get this information, the authors carried out pilot tests maximally proximal to operating conditions.
