A micro dimension antenna with wheel-geometrical wide-band terahertz (THz) is suggested in this research. In the circular shaped patch, concentric circle shaped slots are incorporated to form a wheel shaped patch antenna. The suggested model is designed on a polymide substrate with dielectric constant of 4.3 and thickness of 20 µm. The suggested prototype antenna is very much compact in size of 210×160 µm2 . The designed antenna achieves a wideband operation from 8.692 THz to 9.772 THz. This prototype antenna’s maximum realized gain is 10.2 dBi at 9.0 THz. This high gain is important for wide range of wireless applications. The radiation pattern, radiation efficiency, reflection coefficient, surface current distribution and voltage standing wave ratio are examined through the simulation results. In future video rate imaging system, super fast close-range in-door wireless communication, biomedical picturing, homeland defence equipments, security scanning, explosive detection, and characterisation of materials in the THz level will be benefited from the suggested THz antenna.

The integration of NOMA with Backscatter communication (BackCom) is a promising solution for developing a green future wireless network. However, system performance degrades with the deployment of multiple backscatter devices (BDs) in a network. Hence, energy efficiency (EE) maximization with proper resource allocation is among the primary concerns. In this regard, this paper proposes an adaptive resource allocation method for maximizing EE by simultaneously optimizing the transmission power from the base station (BS), power allocation coefficients, and reflection coefficients under the constraints of maximum allowable transmission power and minimum achievable data rate. Specifically, an iterative method based on a parametric transformation approach is adopted for maximizing EE by jointly optimizing the coefficients, in which the power allocation problem to the BDs is solved by an adaptive method that is based on improved proportionate normalized least mean square (IPNLMS) algorithm. Then, the system performance is evaluated, and the impact of different parameters is also studied it is observed that EE is significantly improved as compared to the existing scheme, and maximum at η=-0.5.

The need for automated speech recognition has expanded as a result of significant industrial expansion for a variety of automation and human-machine interface applications. The speech impairment brought on by communication disorders, neurogenic speech disorders, or psychological speech disorders limits the performance of different artificial intelligence-based systems. The dysarthric condition is a neurogenic speech disease that restricts the capacity of the human voice to articulate. This article presents a comprehensive survey of the recent advances in the automatic dysarthric speech recognition (DSR) using machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) paradigms. It focuses on the methodology, database, evaluation metrics, and major findings from the study of previous approaches. From the literature survey it provides the gaps between exiting work and previous work on DSR and provides the future direction for improvement of DSR. The performance of the various machine and DL schemes is evaluated for the DSR on UASpeech dataset based on accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. It is observed that the DL based DSR schems outperforms the ML based DSR schemes.

In recent times, the volume of traffic congestion has been rapidly growing on roads. These days the necessity of having safe transportation and journey is essential. Thus, vehicle communication could be a possible solution to enhance safe transit. Vehicular communications provide a wide range of applications with different characteristics, namely vehicle and vehicle (V2V) communications. Every year, traffic accidents kill many people worldwide, and many people have been injured. V2V communication enables vehicles to communicate with each other to provide safety and convenience to drivers. Therefore, this paper explores a direction to develop a conceptual approach to V2V communication with HC-12, nRF24L01, and XBee. The study aims to analyse and evaluate the communication range that may contribute to the future road transportation system.

Internet of things (IoT) infrastructures are rapidly expanding, which will lead to an unanticipated rise in demand for smart cities. The concept of a "smart city" has recently gained traction in urban planning circles. An IoT based smart parking system is the focus of this article, and it allows a motorist to locate a car park and an available parking space in an indoor metropolis, all from the comfort of their own vehicle. Additional efforts are made to reduce the time spent defining parking zones. Reduced fuel use helps to cut down on pollution, as well as avoid needless travel through congested parking lots, which can help to reduce unlawful parking and alleviate traffic congestion in the city we all live in. These innovations include automobile particular identification via radio frequency identification (RFID) tags, unoccupied slot detection through the use of ultrasonic sensors, and cost calculating based largely on parking duration. The technology we've used is unique in that it runs on separate parts of the system for the hardware and the software.

The current big challenge facing radiologists in healthcare is the automatic detection and classification of masses in breast mammogram images. In the last few years, many researchers have proposed various solutions to this problem. These solutions are effectively dependent and work on annotated breast image data. But these solutions fail when applied to unlabeled and non-annotated breast image data. Therefore, this paper provides the solution to this problem with the help of a neural network that considers any kind of unlabeled data for its procedure. In this solution, the algorithm automatically extracts tumors in images using a segmentation approach, and after that, the features of the tumor are extracted for further processing. This approach used a double thresholding-based segmentation technique to obtain a perfect location of the tumor region, which was not possible in existing techniques in the literature. The experimental results also show that the proposed algorithm provides better accuracy compared to the accuracy of existing algorithms in the literature.

This approach used a double thresholding-based segmentation technique to obtain a perfect location of the tumor region, which was not possible in existing techniques in the literature. The experimental results also show that the proposed algorithm provides better accuracy compared to the accuracy of existing algorithms in the literature.","PeriodicalId":245958,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Informatics and Communication Technology (IJ-ICT)","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133517673","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
