the main problems across the world to-day are environmental changes and protection and management of natural resources. Environmental change causes a number of interconnected environmental problems, including deforestation, poor air quality, climate change, and biodiversity loss. Climate change is the most complex of the aforementioned issues. Efforts are being made around the world to quantify and reduce the risks of environmental change. Numerous nations across the globe have pledged to lessen the effects of climate change. It is the responsibility of each and every one of us to work in this direction in order to minimize climate change. Every organization across the world is highly interested to make their business as green to face climate change and contribute towards sustainable development. By taking on the role of advocates for sustainability, banks may play a vital role in preserving sustainability. The corporate community's traditional bottom line approach of profit is sometimes replaced with a triple bottom line approach, which emphasizes the three Ps: people, planet, and profit, as a result of sustainable development. The present study aims to study Green Banking in depth and awareness of the clients regarding green banking concept adopted in Tiruchirappalli City. In terms of development, SBI is a model for all the steps a bank may take to overcome the problems brought up by green banking.

Due to a variety of factors occurring simultaneously in Honduras, the financial sector is undergoing a profound change in every section of the company, including the ones where they are lacking of technology appliance, forcing organizations to adapt to new working methods. In this thesis, the Honduran financial sector attempts to identify the main challenges and benefits it faces when it applies agile methodologies to digital transformation, its barriers, as well as lessons learned. A survey of the Honduran financial sector confirmed three hypotheses, namely a lack of agility knowledge and focus on process and methods beyond model thinking prevent successful agile project management. Additionally, it was identified that through the leaders, it is possible to obtain cultural change within organizations, thereby making the implementation of agile methodologies easier. The study will assist financial organizations in understanding the obstacles that hinder agility implementation. They will also be able to identify the most important aspects to consider, to achieve a management mindset focused on adding value and meeting customer needs, in a complex, and changing environment.

This study investigates the socioeconomic status and discrimination experienced by women in the healthcare sector in Kabul. Through a comprehensive survey, data was collected on household income, job satisfaction, career progression, and instances of gender-based discrimination. Findings indicate a moderate household income level with variations among respondents. Women with higher incomes tend to perceive their earnings aligning with qualifications. Additionally, the study uncovers a nuanced relationship between years of employment, satisfaction, and stability. Gender-based discrimination remains a concern, impacting reporting comfort and influencing perceptions of professional development opportunities. Correlation analyses reveal positive links between beliefs in equal career opportunities, job stability, diverse job roles, and satisfaction. The study suggests interventions to address discrimination, enhance career opportunities, and improve financial literacy.

Translation has historically been a subject of debate in the field of English education. It has been widely disregarded as a legitimate endeavor for language practice and enhancement. Despite the opposition of many language educators, the prevailing view on the use of translation in language classrooms is gradually shifting. Increasingly, experts are recognizing the beneficial role that the first language plays in English Language Teaching (ELT). This topic has been deliberated in the context of language pedagogical techniques. The primary objective of this study was to examine the utilization of translation as a learning approach by Vietnamese English learners in their pursuit of acquiring proficiency in the English language. It is also important to identify the translation mechanisms that students employ during the learning process. To do this, the study utilized the quantitative approach, involving 120 Vietnamese university students who are learning English as a foreign language. Subsequent data analysis and statistical calculations demonstrated that language learners employed a diverse range of learning strategies pertaining to translation in order to comprehend, retain, and generate English, regardless of whether their teachers opposed such practices.

English as a Secondary Language (ESL) has grown globally due to globalization and international communication, but challenges such as low motivation, attitude, and self-efficacy hinder successful language learning. This study aims to explore the perceptions and experiences of Grade 11 learners at Vinschool Ocean Park regarding their motivation, attitude, and confidence in their own ability to learn English as a second language. It also aims to pinpoint the causes of these views and create a helpful and efficient system of support. A qualitative approach was used in this study, with semi-structured interviews conducted with selected Vinsers. Sampling was purposive, based on factors such as learners' levels of proficiency, their history with English language instruction, and their attitudes towards learning. Thematic analysis was used to examine the data. Further, the study revealed that motivation, attitude, and self-efficacy play crucial roles in determining the success of ESL learning. The results offered valuable insights into the personal and social factors that impact ESL learning.

The aim of this study was to examine the moderating role of the gender of the procurement committee leader on the relationship between leadership practices and perceived levels of corruption in the procurement department in the Judiciary of Kenya. The research utilized the convergent parallel triangulation design and focused on key informants from six oversight bodies and 278 heads of procurement stations. Using the stratified proportionate random selection technique, 164 heads of procuring stations and 12 key informants were choses as a sample for this research. Quantitative data was collected from the heads of procurement committees using questionnaires while qualitative data was collected by interviewing 12 key informants that were purposively selected from the six oversight organizations. The study foundthat the gender of procurement committee heads did not have a significant moderating effect on the relationship between leadership and levels of corruption in the judiciary procurement department. Based on the findings, the study concludes that gender does not significantly determine the way leadership practices impact corruption levels. This means that the effectiveness of leadership practices in reducing corruption levels remains unchanged irrespective of the leaders’ gender. The study thus recommends that policies aimed at reducing corruption in government procurements should pay attention to other factors that may have a more substantial impact on corruption levels than gender.

Today's teachers and students have a tremendous degree of duty for surviving in a competitive world and they have a growing level of responsibility to achieve in a highly competitive environment. Aside from cognitive skills, the non-cognitive skills are believed to play a crucial role for academic success as they can improve student motivation, engagement, and overall well-being. This study examined the correlation of non-cognitive skills to academic performance among students at General Luna National High School, Siargao Islands, Surigao del Norte, Philippines. The main tools used to gather information were an adapted research questionnaire for Grades 11 and 12 students. The study respondents were the 302 senior high school students under the general academic strand at General Luna National High School during the school year 2022 – 2023. Data gathered were analyzed using Frequency Count and Percentage, Means and Standard Deviations, Mann Whitney U-Test and Kruskal Wallis H-Test, Independent T-Test, and Spearman Rho Correlation to yield a generally significant difference and relationship based on the data outcomes from the respondents’ responses. The descriptive-correlational research design was used to evaluate the non-cognitive skills in the learning of senior high school students that link to their academic achievement in which purposive sampling was done to obtain 302 respondents. Results showed that the respondents still need assistance writing high-quality research papers and more confidence especially when collaborating with teachers in doing class projects even outside the class. Majority of them (64%) got a grade point average below 85% which implies a need to demonstrate a higher degree of academic performance. With p-values of 0.0001 and 0.0120, significant differences exist in the respondents’ academic performance when grouped based on sex and grade level, respectively. Furthermore, with correlation coefficient of 0.29 and p-value of 0.0001, it was revealed that there is a significant positive relationship between the respondents’ academic achievement and non-cognitive skills in terms of academic perseverance. These findings provide several implications especially in enhancing students’ academic achievement for low performing subject areas such as science and mathematics. Hence, it is recommended that teachers and school administrators may consider providing activities or programs to strengthen students’ academic perseverance to improve their performance across all subject areas, most especially in writing research.
