The article deals with the concept of a category and in particular the category of dialogicity in the texts of modern literary prose. For this purpose, various types of speech are analyzed: the author’s speech, the speech of characters and the inner speech of characters, which play an important role in expressing dialogicity in a literary text. The purpose of this research is to study the problem of dialogism and ways to implement it in modern English literary prose. The object of the research is dialogical speech in the broadest sense used in a literary text. The subject of the research is the linguistic means that are used in various types of artistic speech: in the author’s speech, the speech of characters and the inner speech of persons acting in novels, acting as areas of application of linguistic means of dialogicity. The author also pays attention to the implicit and explicit types of dialogue and their linguistic features (syntactic (question-answer complexes, interrogative sentences containing a direct question, incomplete, exclamatory and imperative sentences, sentences that include affirmation or negation, as well as sentences that include inversion and insertions), morphological (personal and possessive pronouns, first-person plural verbs, interjections expressing strong feelings or sudden emotions of characters, conjunctions with an adversative and alternative meaning, modal words that have the meaning of opportunity and necessity), lexical units (words with the opposite evaluative orientation, adjectives denoting evaluation) and stylistic devices (allusions, aphorisms, repetitions)). The conclusions of the study of the representation of the category of dialogicity, obtained as a result of studying the works “Life after Life”, “After You”, “The Fault in Our Stars” by modern English writers Kate Atkinson, JoJo Moyes and John Green, are presented.

форма медиапамяти, образ Петра, I. в, анимационных фильмах
The article is devoted to the study of animation as a form of media memory on the example of studying the image of Peter I in animated films. Cartoons on historical themes have become the most important element of media memory, which constructs collectively shared ideas about the Past in the digital environment. The author considers media memory in the article as a special mechanism for storing and reproducing images of the Past, using visualization as the main tool for representing history. The historical figure of Peter I occupies a special place in modern media memory, being extremely mythologized. The main myths about the Peter the Great era are reflected in animated films dedicated to the first Russian emperor. The author explores not only studio animation works, but also those made by non-professionals, fans of animation and history. The participation of non-professionals, who make up the masses of Internet users, is characteristic of reproducing ideas about the Past in media memory. Having mastered digital technologies, including for the production of animated films, Internet users create their own versions of history, subjecting it to a deep interpretation. Professional animators who create historical cartoons are also not free from mass stereotypes of perception of the Past and often use history as a background for artistic creativity. Animated films with the mention of Peter the Great show that history has become part of popular culture, undergoing mediatization in a digital society.

G. Ishimbaeva
The article presents systematic and holistic analysis of the novel “Tristan 1946” by the Polish writer Maria Kuncewiczowa, where the traditional Tristan plot is transformed in an original way. In this regard, the origins of the story about Tristan and Isolde and the history of its artistic interpretation in world culture are considered. Special attention is paid to the structure and core of the Tristan plot, the meaning of oppositions associated with the images of the forest and the sea, denouement and conclusion. It is proved that 1) Kuncewiczowa’s novel gives grounds for considering it from the perspective of gender literature and “women’s writing”; 2) the artistic world of the novel is conceptualized as overcoming a given archetypal matrix; 3) the finale of the novel changes the themes and problems of the Tristan plot: modern Tristan and Isolde, each of them realizing the American dream in their own way, unwittingly discredits the high pathos and apology of love of the medieval novel; 4) the text of the novel, focused on the substrate of Tristan history, carries out a cultural transfer and demonstrates the possibility of the ancient legend existence in new circumstances: socio-cultural, political, philosophical, ethical, aesthetic, national. It is concluded that the intertextuality of the novel has increased the semantic valence of the traditional plot and amended its codification based on new epistemological, aesthetic and axiological, ideological and worldview principles.
