Wireless sensor networks provide a lot of interesting to monitoring applications. However, the problem of limited energy of sensor disrupts the proper functioning of the network by limiting its lifetime. In fact, the aspect of minimize energy consumption and maximize lifetime of sensor networks is constituted a real challenge. In this paper, we propose a novel distributed power control scheme (DPCS) for mobile wireless sensor networks. The main idea behind the proposed scheme is developing an effective mechanism for manage the transmission power when nodes are mobile. DPCS aims to reduce the energy spent at communication and at the time ensuring a good connectivity. Simulations show that our scheme realizes an improvement compared to the classic scheme, in terms of network lifetime and connectivity in spite of the sensors mobility.

Artificial Immune Systems (AIS) is an emerging bio-inspired computer science technique which embody the principles of biological immune systems for tackling complex real-world problems such as pattern recognition. Among the several immune-computing models, Artificial Immune Recognition System (AIRS) is one of the widely used for classification problems. Meanwhile, the issues related to writer identification are currently at the heart of numerous concerns in our modern day's society. Writer identification for Arabic text is receiving a renewed attention. Many popular machine learning techniques have been used in writer identification systems but only one limited attempt has been done with AIS. In this paper, we apply AIRS to perform Arabic writer identification based on a set of features extracted from Grey Level Co-occurrence Matrices. Some feature selection techniques are applied to improve computation time and accuracy results. Three traditional classifiers have also been used in our experiments for performance comparison. The obtained results show the promising ability of AIRS in Writer identification.

This work falls within the framework of natural language processing. Our goal is to develop a machine translation system from Arabic to any target language using a purely linguistic method as a key to get insights into the standard layer-based structure of linguistic phenomena (morphology, syntax and semantics) as well as in recognizing the interaction between them, which we think is the most appropriate to a such rich in morphology and syntax language as Arabic. To ensure that, we used a set of linguistic theories such as: Fillmore theory, conceptual dependency, semantic traits of Chafe and frame representation of Minsky. We will show in this paper, the usefulness of these methods and how we combined them to realize a multilingual translation system.

In this paper a classification and control system based on the use of personal computer is realized for people who want to achieve their documents in public utility offices. It is specially designed to bring about order, efficiency and comfort in different places. It consists of two parts, the first is software program designed in Visual Basic, Which will be used to classify people according to their demands. On entering the reception department of the office, a client will face a dedicated console. He selects a key relates to the process he wants to achieve. Then the program will arrange these data to be used later on calling clients. Till now there are many people who are not accustomed to deal with the new technology. So in this paper the problem is solved and the client will keep his priority. The second part is an interface logical circuit between the PC and the declaration display. This interface is based on an FPGA integrated circuit. The 7-segment displays are used in stead of cathode ray tube as they are clearer in displaying data as well as easier in driving any number of them.

Extracting knowledge from Web user's access data in Web Usage Mining (WUM) process is challenging task that is continuing to gain importance as the size of the web and its user-base increase. That's why meaningful methods have been proposed in the literature in order to understand the behaviour of the user in the web and improve the access modes to information. In this present work, we propose to emerge the community detection technique in WUM process, so we propose an approach of data extraction based on the modularity function. The obtained results illustrate the aptitude of the proposed algorithm to determine the optimal solution and to improve the Web design.

Automatic correspondence generation between two ontologies, is of great difficulty due, on one hand, to conceptual and habit differences between ontology development communities. On the other hand, alignment difficulties grew exponentially with the number and volume of the involved data. This work presents a proposition of an alignment algorithm XMap++; where the approach originality consists in taking into account the context of the alignment in order to overcome the problem of large size ontologies containing similar classes as well as a semantic similarity measure based on Wordnet. The weighted, sum in addition to the sigmoid function, which has to be shifted according to the weight of the linguistic affinity and to fit our input range of [0 to 1] is also used. Finally, the proposed algorithm is implemented as a Protege plug-in, and tested on a series of certified test units. A comparison in terms of results is also made with OLA (OWL lite Alignment) in terms of precision and fallout.

The idea of applying the biological principle of natural evolution to artificial systems, introduced more than three decades ago, has seen impressive growth in the past few years. Usually these artificial systems group bio-inspired systems, evolutionary computation, artificial life, etc. This convinced all that nature has much we might be inspired by when designing our systems and the genetics is a promising inspiration. Extensive methodologies and systems, mapping it, were developed. But the mapping of the natural genetics to the software design has been however very limited. Actually, intensive efforts are being invested for upgrading programming tools from high level programming languages to design languages, including Aspect-Oriented Paradigm (AOP). The growing interest of AOP and its application in several domains necessitates its enrichment by strong concepts which are intended to support effectively the application domain diversity. This paper proposes such enhancement inspired from natural genetics. We first present Bio-inspired, Aspect-Oriented, and Subject-Oriented software design approaches. Then the enrichment of AOP, induced by a Bio-inspired approach, with its supporting design methodology will be introduced and evaluated.

Text categorisation discipline has recently attracted many scholars because of the large number of documents on the World Wide Web (WWW) that contain hidden useful information which can be utilised by organisational's managers for decision making. However, the majority of research conducted in text categorisation is related to English data collections while there is limited research attempts conducted on mining corpuses in Arabic. This paper investigates the problem of Arabic text categorisation in order to measure the performance of different rule based classification data mining techniques. Precisely, four different rule based classification approaches: C4.5, RIPPER, PART, and OneRule are compared against the known CCA Arabic text data set. Experiments are carried out using a modified version of WEKA business intelligence tool, and the results determine that the least suitable classification algorithms for classifying Arabic texts is OneRule whereas RIPPER, C4.5 and PART have similar performance with respect to error rate.

A new ontology based approach is proposed to model and operate chatbots (OntBot). OntBot uses appropriate mapping technique to transform ontologies and knowledge into relational database and then use that knowledge to drive its chats. The proposed approach overcomes a number of traditional chatbots drawbacks including: the need to learn and use chatbot specific language such as AIML, high botmaster interference, and the use of non-matured technology. OntBot has the additional power of easy users interactions using their natural language, and the seamless support of different application domains. This gives the proposed approach a number of unique scalability and interoperability properties that are going to be evaluated in future phases of this research project.

This paper handle the design and implementation of the SIMD Vector Processor on FPGA, this processor consist of 4 parallel lanes (processing elements PEs) that work simultaneously independent with each other, each one of those lanes has its own arithmetic units, vector register file which represents a part of the main distributed register file also it has a local memory for storage of execution results of that lane, lanes's local memories connects to each other to exchange their contains via interconnection networking that can be configure software to give a certain topology of static interconnection network, like (Mesh, Star,…etc) those lanes and their memories act a vector part of the SIMD Vector Processor. A scalar processor also designed and attached with the vector part in order to accomplish scalar instructions that can not be handle by vector lanes, this processor also has its scalar register file and set of arithmetic units.
