During the years of the global crisis in Bulgaria a housing bubble were developed and at the same time our country shows the highest income inequality among the EU countries. The purpouse of the research is to take part on the current debate about the link between income inequality and housing prices and to examine this relationship for Bulgaria. The Gini coefficient and Palma ratio were used as a measure of income inequality, and housing prices are presented in nominal and real terms for the period 2006-2019. The results of the regression analysis show a positive relationship between income inequality and housing prices in all cases, and for the period after the crisis the correlation coefficient is positive and extremely high and equal to 0.9.

Recycling is an example of a sustainable process within the proclaimed circular economy, and paper is the most recycled material in the world. The new conditions imposed by the Covid-19 crisis put the pulp and paper industry to the challenge of coping with emerging difficulties and maintaining its position in individual sub-sectors. The aim of this study is to present the development of recycling of paper and paper products within of the last year, marked by the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic. In the study have been used the descriptive - analytical approach, the methods of comparison, analysis and synthesis.

Ohe purpose of this article is, based on a review of existing opinions on the role of direct payments in the risk management process and assessment of the impact of these subsidies on the income of agricultural holdings in Bulgaria, to draw some conclusions about their potential as a tool for prevention of the risk faced by farmers. It is concluded that if secure revenues from direct payments do not provoke risk-balancing behavior of farmers, their role in income stabilization increases, but not to the same extent for farms with different types of specialization. In addition, the policy of direct income support puts Bulgarian farmers in a situation of relatively high risk of problems in adapting to new conditions, in case of a change in support mechanisms
